I purchased a H100iGTX in July 2015 and its been really awesome until recently. (like 55-58c on 100% use with a 4.5ghz (22%) OC and 18c idles)

Screws in radiator very easy to strip (can you fit a nut/bold config there if anything strips?)...

Good to know thanks, i think ill be mounting my RAD inside, with 2 SP120 PWM outside (on top) as intake so i should have room. It's in a 300r case that's the reason for that.

Iv seen a few results with a lapped H100i/CPU and I'm not sure it's "unnecessary" its just (~5c)cooler and needs less thermal compound if the surfaces are perfectly flat and free from fissures/tiny...

I think i can answer my own question, id connect the fans to 'OPT' cpu fan header via a PWm splitter and then connect the (replacment) SP120s in there and use AUSU FanXpert2 to create a custom...
