i don't know if this can help you but i had similar problems (though less frequent) and since i updated to firmware 1.3.2 it's been a month without a BSOD, so i think u should definitely try updating

no, i actually only reinstalled the SO, skipping the BIOS cleaning and the secure erase.

Will try those 2 steps only if the disk still gives issues.

And i installed it but then got a new BSOD after 2-3 hours, so reading the PDF i i have reinstalled the OS and so far got no issues, let's hope for the best :sigh!:

anyway i heard of many people having issues, not only with this motherboard, so i think it's best to just wait an update of the sandforce controller and/or the firmware...
