  1. For months now, I have been having this issue with my corsair H100I platinum radiator ML fan that came with the unit. One of the fans makes a loud grinding noise when spinning and is much harder to spin than the other. If I spin it by hand, as shown in the video attached, one fan spins freely and smoothly while the other only spins for a second and quickly halts whilst also making the mentioned grinding noise, even at very slow speeds. It seems to be the motor as the blades are not coming into contact with anything. Does anyone have a solution to this that doesn't require sending the entire unit back? https://imgur.com/OKRKJf9
  2. When I first got my AIO, I was also plagued by the USB Disconnect bug, but that was eventually fixed with a patch and remained fixed until this latest update where it is happening again! I am tired of this Corsair. The only reason I haven't RMA yet is because I can't be bothered to deal with the hassle of removing my cooler again, reinserting my old fan based cooler and waiting for a new one to install again, for it to likely do the same. AS well as this, FOR MONTHS, my second ML fan has been messed up and is super noisy compared to the left one and refuses to spin up properly as well as constantly winding up and down with a grinding noise. I have checked and there are no obstructions. It is just a faulty fan.
  3. Hi, I am having a similar issue. Water temps seem normal in icue but my cpu temps are through the roof under load, especially when OC'd even slightly. I have an i7 6700K and idle temps are about 40c whilst gaming load is anywhere from 60c-80c at stock 4ghz, and OC'ed to 4.2ghz or higher I will see 70c-92c when gaming normally. I am still using the paste that came on the cooler.
  4. I've had my cooler since around march, and went through the whole usb disconnect issue which has now been fixed for me, however since then, I have a new issue. My right fan (the left fan is perfectly fine and normal) makes a lot of noise when spinning, especially when spinning fast and is also running at a much lower speed (RPM) than the left fan on the same profile. e.g. right now on balanced profile, left fan at 2115RPM, right fan at only 1545RPM. This gap is similar at all speed profiles however they do both start up at the same time. Also I noticed whilst watching it start up, that the right fan looks like it is wobbling slightly as it spins creating a wavy effect on the fins as it spins whilst the left fan looks perfectly levelled as it rotates, and gets up to speed much quicker than the right fan also settling at much higher speeds. The pump is literally almost silent thankfully so no issues there. I have tested both fans on their own and it is the same. Left fan only, almost silent. Right fan only, really loud. I have also tried closing icue to see if that had any effect but it doesn't. If anyone has any idea what is wrong with it, please let me know.
  5. I have had beta 3.15.96 installed for a few weeks now and made sure to purposely use spiral rainbow(since it most frequents the issue) as well as other effects and can confirm it is a million times better. I have had it disconnect once since the beta update, not sure what caused it that one time but it hasn't occurred again since so a drastic improvement. still far from perfect though. I also have my K70 lux rgb running through icue with rainbow and other effects also. At least we are finally getting somewhere and I hope the issue gets resolved soon.
