  1. i looked at the cable chart and it doesn't do itself any favours and is about as clear as mud frankly I don't really understand why Corsair, if they are going to state that "X" cable is only compatible with "Y" power supplies they can't just list compatible power supplies, or even have the "type" listed in the specs of the PSU rather than making people go hunting for them
  2. I want to order one of this but so far i haven't been able to get a definitive answer on the whole type3/4 powers supply issue to ensure compatibility. Is there a way to work this out? is it as simple as if you have the 18 & 10 PIN plugs on the PSU end for the ATX cable its type 4 and compatible with this cable? not that this cable goes anywhere near the ATX cable at either end of course. I have the HX1000 (non I) and would really appreciate anyone giving me steer in the right direction on this
  3. An update on the update On my Win10 install i didn't have the latest version of iCue so after all the other drivers had been loaded, i updated iCue and this brought the Dominator Platinum's back to being recognised. I then went back to the Win11 Install and did a repair of the iCue install and it also brought the ram back into recognition
  4. As an update to this, i replaced my SSD and still had the Win10 one so i have booted into it and the memory was instantly recognised by iCue, however after installing the latest AMD chipset drivers, the memory has disappeared again
  5. So i have just upgraded my system to Ryzen 7950x, Asus Crosshair X670E Hero and 2x 16Gb Dom Plat 6000Mhz I know its a new platform and there are going to be issues of this nature but it seems like the issues happened after i Updated the Bios on the Motherboard and enabled DOCP. I know there have been issues on Intel of a similar nature and the advice has been to enabled SPD write, not sure if there is a similar "fix" as it were on my current set up? or even if there is a different fix? I had to roll back the Nvidia drivers because the GPU disappeared from iCue, so am wodnering if something similar is needed here? I haven't yet tried disabling DOCP to see if that helps, but i would rather not gimp the RAM for the sake of some control over RGB, lol Edit: Sorry, i should have mentioned i am using a Corsair H170i Elite as my cooler hence the use of Commander Pro and iCue
