Have you tried remapping them to just a letter in iCUE, and checked to see if the letter outputs in a word doc when actuated? By default they will be assigned to DPI adjustment.

One last thing you can try before going through an RMA, cycling the battery. Fully drain the battery until it will no longer power on. Charge the headset with it off and uninterrupted.
