  1. Hi, I have a Silver/white K70 RGB MK.2 SE keyboard that I've purchased in Aug 2021 and the gray palm rest has become really ugly and stained and there there is no way to clean it. Is there a black palm rest available somewhere (from the K70 RGB MK.2 perhaps) ?
  2. So, something I noticed today after struggling with this myself for years (safe mode doesn't change anything), I noticed when I have iCue open (latest version at v. 4.24.193), I see that the ST100 version is at v. 0.04 and that there is an update available (v. 0.04.106) Now, *without* updating, I simply plug the ST100 to a USB2 port instead, the ST100's current version changes to v. 0.04.106 Again, *without* updating, I change back the ST100 to a USB3 port, the ST100's current version changes back to v. 0.04 and a popup appears in iCue to say that there is a new version available 0.04.106 So, from what I can tell, it seems to be some type of "rounding" error that happens when reading the version of the ST100 when it's plugged in a USB3 port but is OK when plugged on older USB2-type ports
  3. Hi, I have a K70 RGB MK.2 SE keyboard and with time, the palm rest became stained that I'm unable to clean off. I only see this one in the Corsair store which seems to be the K70 Lux RGB. Other than being black instead of grey, I know it doesn't fit since I have a K70 Lux RGB here to compare and can see that the clips that attach it to the keyboard are not the same and also not at the same distance from each other. Is there a way to get a replacement somewhere?
  4. I'm sure you're going to love them. I know I do (That's why I have both)
  5. I have both SE (Espresso) and non-SE (white). The SE does have a better microphone quality but the reality is that both have a good mic quality to them. Also, as much as I enjoyed the RGB brightness on the non-SE version, like LeDoyen mentioned, I found myself turning them off since there was indeed a drastic difference in battery life: ~20hours with leds off vs ~8h leds on. Granted this is not a precise measurement but it always felt that it was around those times
  6. Actually, the mic LED for the Virtuoso is RGB as we can see it cycling through rainbow colors when starting up. I think they should program it in a way we can set up the colors like we want, such as the special keys on some of their keyboards or like the DPI led on some of their mice (M65 RGB)
  7. In my case, I had never used white because of that, and like I said in my previous post, I also never used the brightest level either to try and preserve the LEDs as much as possible. The only reason why I only found out now is that after installing iCue 4, it defaults to a profile that is white with some color circles appearing. I imagine that I won't be the only one discovering bad LEDs now that people are upgrading to iCue 4 :sigh!:
  8. Unfortunately, it looks like that I've had it a bit longer than I thought (from September 2018) so it looks like I'm out of a warranty since the keyboard is a little over 2-1/2 years old. Wish I had tested the white profile earlier :-/ It's disappointing considering that I've done steps to try and preserve them as much as possible, such as: never set the keyboard at the brightest setting (level 1 normally, and sometimes 2 for darker colors) Created an "all leds off" profile in iCue for when I left the computer on unattended (like during the night)
  9. Hi As the title says, I was wondering what was is the LED life expectancy for the K70 RGB MK.2 SE? After having a white profile applied to my keyboard, I've noticed that some of the LEDs behind my keys are look as though they are slowly dying. It might be hard to see in the attached picture (the camera always seems to compensate brightness), but we can see a ÿellowing glow behind the F11, Enter and Properties key (left to the Ctrl key) Re-flashing the firmware or doing a soft-reset doesn't change anything. Is this "normal" after such a short time considering that this model isn't old? TMS PS: Of note, I had to re-flash the keyboard firmware a few months back as some of the leds for caps, scroll, num lock where going green/red instead of white. At that time, the re-flash fixed the issue. I just find it strange that I had to do that in the first place.
  10. No matter. I guess there was some maintenance happening over the weekend because I was able to see the price and order one this morning :-)
  11. Hi Corsair Albert, I just got my White 5000D Airflow and would like to replace my clear glass for another solid side panel. On the Corsair website, I can see the case part iCUE 5000X/5000D/5000D AIRFLOW Solid Side Panel, White SKU CC-8900492 but when I click on it to get an idea of price, it says "RETRIEVING YOUR CART" and a spinner appears and spins and spins.. after an hour, still nothing back. Is there an issue with the site or it's not available yet?
  12. Thanks Corsair Notepad. I'll do that. PS: Not that it's a big thing but I thought that maybe it was a firmware bug and mentioned it in the forums as to have it fixed for a future firmware update
  13. When using the Virtuoso in wireless mode, the activity light will change from green (full charge) to red (critically low). I've noticed that even if I plug in the USB wire to charge (and change to USB mode), the activity light does not update while it charges. It will remain red no matter how long I wait. After a few hours, I can disconnect the USB and reconnect and the led will change from red to green (full) charge. Anyone else noticed this?
  14. Ok. Did some testing. After being AFK for a while in Fallout 76 and still finding that my sound had stopped again, I noticed that the "Spatial Sound" settings for my headphones had changed from "Dolby Atmos for Headphones" back to "Windows Sonic for Headphones". It is this device change that is causing the issue for my problem. So I went in into Windows Settings->Power & sleep->Additional Power Settings (on the right)->Change plan settings (for the High Performance plan that I'm currently using)->Change advanced power settings. In the Power Option window that pops up, under the Advanced settings tab, I went to USB Settings->USB selective suspend setting->Setting and changed the option from Enabled (default) to Disabled. Tried again waiting and can now confirm that I don't have any more device switching and/or disconnects. So in my case, it was a Windows option that was suspending the USB port for my headphones that was causing the trouble. Hope it helps anyone who may have had the same problem that I did.
