  1. I'm glad somebody mentioned it. It's all about IDLE core voltage and not about CPU load.
  2. The problem is not the total CPU usage in percent. It's about high CPU voltage and cores not going to sleep.
  3. This has been a problem for such a long time...so I think Corsair just doesn't care. What you can do: Store every RGB setting to hardware profiles in iCUE (default for fan curves). Then uncheck "Start on system startup" in iCUE. This diables only the start of the iCUE application not the service. But the service seems to be no problem concerning CPU load. Now most of the problems are gone. But there's hardware that has no "hardware profile" like the Polaris MM800 RGB.
  4. Here the links to the Cables (German Corsair Webshop): Cable Set ATX 24-pin cable The cables are sent from the Netherlands. If you want to see all available colors: Link Link
  5. Yes it's the 24-pin ATX cable I need. And I need it in the same color as the other cables. I'm not sure if the cablemod "red" is exactly the same as Corsair's "red". It would be really nice to get the original Corsair cable in European Webshop.
  6. It's a shame that Corsair doesn't seem to be interested in customer satisfaction. The AMD user base is still increasing. And for me iCUE and Ryzen 3xxx is a no-go.
  7. Strange thing is that at some shops it's not only 'currently out of stock', but it's 'not available anymore'. Corsair didn't answer my support request (#2001169569) yet (opened last wednesday).
  8. A week ago I ordered the "Professional Individually sleeved DC Cable Kit, Type 3 (Generation 2), RED" (SKU: CP-8920049) at the Corsair online shop. Sadly this kit does not contain the "Individually Sleeved 24pin ATX Cable Type 3 (Generation 2), RED" (SKU: CP-8920057). I can't find a shop selling this cable for a fair price. I paid 85 EUR for the sleeved cable set and won't pay additional 90 EUR just for the ATX cable. So my question: are these "Type 3 (Generation 2)" cables still produced by Corsair or are they already EOL?
  9. Sad but true. iCUE+Ryzen 3xxx is a show stopper for me.
  10. I should have tried googling for "Ryzen icue" before... @Corsair This is a known problem for such a long time and you do absolutely nothing?
  11. It may be a problem with AMD Ryzen. Keeping all 12 Cores 'awake' consumes a lot of power.
  12. I measured total system power with the special plug. All LEDs are active with the same settings once as hardware profile without iCUE and then with iCUE opened (minimized to system tray).
  13. Neither 11.7W nor 8.7W can be the total power reading from your PSU? So how did you measure that? I have a plug that I put in between that shows me the current power drawn from my PC.
  14. If energy saving would be the most important thing for me, my CPU wouldn't be a Ryzen 3900X. I'm just very disappointed, that iCUE makes my system consume 20% more power without giving any benefit (except for the MM800). I saved every setting now hardware profiles now, removed iCUE from autostart and exchanged the MM800 with my good old Roccat HIRO. But hey Corsair team...this is very very sad :sigh!:
