Thnxs for the quick and thorough reply! I asked Corsair for a custom built: The i182 but with an 9900K cpu, because i guess that's a nice system for my needs, and still have the ability for more RAM. Although as you stated, less possibilities to adjust the cpu. So probably, the i165 is the best option out there, Thnxs again.

Hi all, can't decide yet, use for heavy and high 3D poly modelling + ArchVis+ Rendering + Gaming i182 vs i165 i9-9920X vs i9-9900k The software I use is Revit / Lumion / Unreal, and those don't work on multi-cores for most of the tasks. So wondering if the 9920x is necessary ! Unless the 9920X works on a high boost speed for a few cores better then the 9900k. If think the higher base clock speed and boost clock speed of the i9-9900k is preferable instead of the i9-9920X. I assume the i9-9920x, is only introduced for creators who do video editing, and NOT for CAM-ArcVis creators. Any other opinions? Rgrds

Any news on wishlist items like: - thunderbolt 3 support - virtuallink accessibility Appearantly, only the processors are updated, so no news on the above. To bad, cant wait forever on this. I prefer to buy a razer studio 15 laptop, with tb3 and a quadro rtx 5000 card instead of the one pro’s because of expandability over the one pro. Too bad, corsair fails to get the creators on board this way.

The firm is about to invest in new creators pc’s, I did suggest the corsair one, which are more then just gamers pc’s in my opinion. We run game engines like Unreal for animations and vr, and high end modeling software, so I assume the i160 will be sufficient for the workload. We do have some alternative systems selected too, with quadro cards and xeon processors. But before investing , we would like to know if there isn’t a newer iteration of the i160 or i165 available in short notice, because the latest release is about 6 months old now. Expected to place the orders in Q4. Any news yet?

Good to know, thnxs. Never had a watercooled pc, so curious how that works in hot climates. Office temperatures get 32 degrees or more, when i go out and turn the ac off, and the pc runs idle.

Hi all, Wondering if the tropical hot climate i live in, affects the performance of the compact one pro pc. Offcourse there is airconditioning, but often the temperature in my office rises untill 30-35 degrees. Often the pc will be idle then, but still, How does it affect the liquid cooling, fan speed, sound, etc. Is liquid cooling still the best option then?

Is that why the i140 is on discount? Has the rtx2080, Will that be replaced by super?

Probably all regular Rtx cards will be discontinued soon, according the news. Due to the release of the rtx super series. I do have to wait for the super cards in the Corsair one? The pricedrop of the actual regular RTX cards will be present in retailprice too? If super cards will be available, and OC is possible, the psu wattage is still sufficient or I have to save some more for the i180? Probably better to wait a few months to get the rtx 2080ti super. Any news on this?

Hi all, it seems Imac's cannot be used as an external monitor if no thunderbolt port is present. Some one managed it to connect an Imac as external monitor on a one pro? Note: I do read (forum posts from 2016) Corsair is working since 2016 on the thunderbolt ports on the One Pro's. That's almost 4 years? When it will happen? Regards, Cee ps running Mac os and bootcamp on an Imac, but have the need to switch screens if I do need the GPU power of the One pro.

If these 2 aspects could be made possible afterwards within the same current unit, then I and some others will place an order probably. - is there a possibility for a thunderbolt express card on the motherboard or an other way? - is the usb-c port on the gpu accessible? Can I connect a USB-C VR Extension Adapter/Cable for the Rift / Valve or other VRset ? Do I need to drill a hole in the chassis, or is there a ready-made through-put? Regards.
