I have mine setup to control my 6 fans that are on my 2 360 rads in the case. That way one channel of the CoPro controls those fans, they are setup as intake, and then 3 channels for the exhaust fans, one channel for my RAM cooling fan and the last controls my pump.

5000D replacement reservoir and pump
jamie1073 replied to Mikesnow's topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
Yeah it sucks. I bought the 5000X RGB case and then this came out. I am not about to buy a whole new case just to get that part. I am not sure why they do not sell it so the people who already invested in one of their cases could just add it to it. Hell they could sell these to go in any case out there that has room for a 360 rad in it. Hopefully it will change in the future. Of course I would also like to be able to order the AirFlow front panel to replace the front glass on mine but that also does not seem to be an option. -
Yeah that big bubble there on the outflow of that radiator needs to go. I know the case is heavy but try and rotate it all around while running the pump at 100%. It would also be nice to know the flow rate in a loop with that much rad and blocks considering you only have one pump.

I have a dual 360 rad setup in my 5000x and run the 6 fans off the repeater and control them off one channel of my commander pro. Works great and keeps all 6 fans sinked at the same speed and controlled by what profile I am using, normal, night and gaming.

Yes it will. You will get a reading of the speed of whatever is plugged in, I have 6 fans cooling 2 360 rads and they read as one fan at say 950RPM when I set the at that speed.

Introducing CORSAIR 5000 Series Cases

For those of us that already own a 5000X case will we be able to buy the Distro Plate/Pump assembly? -
Introducing CORSAIR 5000 Series Cases
jamie1073 replied to Corsair Albert's topic in New Product Releases
I bought a 5000X RGB and now I am a little sad because they just released a 5000D RGB Hydro X Edition w/ a sweet distro plate/D5 pump combo in it. I mean I do not want the whole case but I hope they sell the RGB distro plate/D5 combo and I hope the pump is a full speed 1500L/h unit instead of the 800L/h unit that is the standard D5 pump. -
4 days + , NO response from Support ticket
jamie1073 replied to cronkllr's topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
Stupid question, but you are using the correct port on the pump for output right? The one on the left on the side with 2 ports. Also the pump should run at full speed when nothing it connected to the PWN line so try just plugging in the power wire and see what the pump is doing, you should be able to see turbulence showing you the pump is running at speed. As for the CPU block the bubbles moving around indicate coolant is flowing, if you move the case around to get the bubbles out you will not see anything moving in the block. You CPU temp would be high because you seem to not have enough flow in the loop so get that fixed first. -
5000D Airflow Accessory Kit Question
jamie1073 replied to frankd3's topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
The support standoff in the middle is to hold the motherboard in place if you are mounting with the case standing upright. It holds the board all centered and ready for you to put the screws in. I am not sure about the washers, I did not use them on my 5000X. I find the center post very handy in a case, no need to hold the board in place while you put a screw in. -

I have my 5000X setup with a front and side 360 rads as intake. Then top and back as exhaust. Works great. -
iCUE ARGB and Third Party DRAM Lighting Support
jamie1073 replied to Corsair James's topic in CORSAIR iCUE
I would pay for software that would control all my RGB with profiles and be able to use the button on my Corsair keyboard to switch between them. Or of course for iCue to be able to control my Asus ARGB. I had a full Hydro X build and decided I wanted a better CPU block for my 5900X so I bought a TechN block which I can control with iCue for the most part. Then I decided I wanted a better flowing D5 pump so I got a new one of those, but it has ARGB lighting on it so I can not control it in iCue and can only set it to control it with the Asus Aura software, not full Armory Crate, so I get very limited lighting and can not even do a solid white color since Auro seems to not do white for some reason. And I can not just change it easily when switching lighting/fan/pump profiles. It is very frustrating. -
I have the ROG Crosshair VIII Hero non-wifi and this is what I have been using since Crate screwed with my RAM, G-Skill that I like to keep RGB off on. My video card and rear 120mm rad/fan cover up the Asus RGB for the most part but I am getting as new CPU block to replace my Corsair one, Tech-N, so I wanted to see if I could control RGB in iCue for when it arrives.

Do you have the pump connected to one of the LED ports on the CoPro then the XC7 connected to the pump daisy chain plug? In iCue did you setup the LED channel on the CoPro that the Pump is connected to as XD5 -> XC7?

Commander Pro Powering Fans, but not Lights
jamie1073 replied to christo0opher's topic in Build Hardware Troubleshooting
How is the node pro hooked up? It needs to be plugged into an internal USB port, either MB or Co Pro. Then the hub connected to one of the LED ports and the hub connected to SATA power. Or just connect the RGB Fan hub to the SATA power and one of the two CO Pro LED ports and set up the RGB from the CO Pro in iCue.
