  1. What are the exact dimensions of this latest White version of RM750x? They vary from store to store and Corsair’s web site brings even more confusion (https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Power-Supply-Units-Advanced/RMx-Series-White/p/CP-9020187-EU#tab-tech-specs). Judging by the pictures of a fan grill side of both White and Black RM750x (https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Power-Supply-Units/Power-Supply-Units-Advanced/RMx-Series/p/CP-9020179-EU#tab-tech-specs), they look identical and they also use identical fans, but specified dimensions are different. Corsair customer support claims that it’s 150mm in length. Is it 150mm or 160mm in length? Thank you in advance!
  2. Apparently, this question is harder to answer than I thought because Corsair's customer support can't give me a definitive answer. I own H110i AIO cooler. I have used it on Intel sockets but now I’m switching to AMD products. I would like to know whether AMD mounting bracket and mounting clips that came with my 3-years old cooler are compatible with AM4 socket on current X570 motherboards and Ryzen 7 3000 CPUs. There is no mentioning on the box of my cooler that it’s compatible with AMD AM4. The compatibility list ends with AM3 socket probably because AM4 socket was introduced in September 2016 and I bought this cooler on August 17, 2016. The cooler does come with AMD mounting bracket and mounting clips. Looking at the part number CW-8960011 that Corsair sells in the Accessories page I don’t see any difference between this and my AMD kit. Further, the manual available for download for H110i cooler that Corsair still sells on its web site, doesn’t differ in any way from the one that came with my cooler in the section dedicated to installation on AMD sockets. But tech specs for this cooler on the web site say that it's compatible with AM4 sockets. Thank you in advance!
  3. My motherboard has (8+8)-pin EPS connectors. According to this video at 04:21 ([ame] [/ame]), the second one feeds PCI-E slots. If it is, I was wondering if it will have any effect on my single GPU and whether it’s necessary to plug that second connector at all. However, MSI’s support asserts that both connectors are for CPU. I own CableMod C-Series ModMesh Cable Kit for Corsair RMi / RMx / RM (https://cablemod.com/product/cablemod-c-series-rmi-rmx-modmesh-cable-kit-carbon/) that has two (4+4)-pin EPS cables because the kit is meant for PSU of any wattage from RMi/RMx line. This cable kit is a direct replacement for stock cables and all appropriate cables have capacitors on them. My Corsair RM650i multi-rail PSU has 3 connectors on modular panel designated as 6+2 PCI-E & 4+4 CPU. Can any of them be used for connecting to EPS on motherboard or PCI-E on graphics card interchangeably? If yes, I was wondering if I can run just one CableMod ((6+2)+(6+2))-pin PCI-E cable to my graphics card and two CableMod (4+4)-pin EPS cables to (8+8)-pin EPS connectors on the motherboard? Will my graphics card have adequate power especially when overclocking from one PCI-E connector on modular panel and one cable? Will PSU be able to give adequate power to two 8-pin EPS connectors on the motherboard from two connectors on modular panel using two EPS cables? In this suggested configuration, should I keep PSU working in multi-rail mode or switch to a single-rail? Thank you in advance!
  4. For the last couple of months I’ve been trying to get Corsair RM650i PSU from Finnish retailers and the fourth and the last one is even registered on Corsair web site as an official reseller. I'm on my fourth unit from the fourth retailer but the product keeps coming opened. The original packaging from all retailers wasn’t completely wrapped in plastic like many other Corsair products. There were just two tapes sealing both flaps of the sleeve box. I own Corsair H110i CPU cooler as well as Corsair RM550x PSU and both came completely wrapped in plastic. Upon opening the sleeve box I find that the product seal on cardboard box of all units was CUT, not broken during transportation (which didn’t happen with my RM550x) but cut! And finally, the PSUs are supposed to be packed not only in a plastic bag but also inside black felt bag, which was the case with my RM550x and which is missing for all RM650i units. I also made unboxing videos for all units. Please also follow these two links to see my points for yourself: [ame] [/ame] https://www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-rm650i/3.html I have discussed this problem with the last retailer for a month before placing an order with them. They don’t keep these units in stock so they had to order one for me straight from supplier. The third retailer, the one before them, assured me that they’ve got 4 of these units straight from supplier as well, that my unit didn’t have registered returns and even shared photos from their video cameras in the warehouse when the units they received were being packed for distribution. Does anybody have any reasonable explanation for this phenomenon? Who and why would need to tamper with manufacturer’s packaging and even remove part of the packaging assuming that Corsair still packs RM650i inside additional black felt bag?
  5. This issue has already been raised at least thrice: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=187821 http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=187816 http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=187750 (H150i Pro) I’m having the same problem with my brand new H100i RGB Platinum. In quiet mode my pump is making rattling noise, which I can clearly hear through radiator and case fans’ noise. The pump works louder than in balanced mode, in which this rattling noise is significantly reduced but not completely. If I put my ear close to the pump, I can still distinguish it from higher rotation speed of the rotor. It’s definitely not a “low-noise pump design” that Corsair claims. In extreme mode this noise is indistinguishable from rotor rotation. My cooler firmware version is 1.00.32. Looking at other people’s posts here, it looks like there is a newer version but I couldn’t update mine. I get a message that “the firmware failed to load or a newer version is not available”. I uninstalled iCUE software, cleaned registry and reinstalled the same latest version and still get the same message. But I highly doubt this problem has anything to do with the firmware. To my understanding, this noise is created by the rotor and is mechanical in nature. At lower RPM the rotor tends to vibrate more thus creating this rattling noise. Does anybody else have a better idea of what this could be? I’m on my third H100i Platinum for the last 6 months. The first two had other issues one of them being the same as this one: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=187938 . By the way, I’ve had no issues of any kind with my H110i that I have installed in my second computer for the last two years. I want to love this H100i. It fits like a glove in the top of my Carbide Clear 400C with my Ripjaws memory modules just barely touching radiator fans and it perfectly complements my build. But I can’t stop replacing it because of all the new problems. I see other people here are having all kinds of problems with this cooler too, some of them keep replacing it just like me. “On paper” and in reviews this cooler looks like the best 240mm AIO that Corsair has ever made but in reality it’s plagued with all kinds of issues. Should I keep finding my perfect sample or look elsewhere?
