  1. That's because you didn't adjust the size of the drive, it's right there in the cloning section. Look for THE PARTITION CAN BE CLONED AND wait for it! wait for it!!! RESIZED. keyword: RESEIZED. Now, the problem relies on the end-user, not the product. Just saying. And let's this be an example for anyone cloning drives.
  2. That and issues as such only happen with the amd plethora of issues and instability and incompatibility issues. I have a 960GB on an ASUS USB 3.2 adapter and the speeds are amazing, for a flash drive adapter, and when used as main drive it was fast from day one to still today. Now that I built a 2nd system I swapped the 960GB for a 480GB and the 480 is as advertised by Corsair and on both Z390 and Z490 (both solid reliability and stable platform) chipsets. I have bought two 240GB to clone both C drives on the Z390 and 490 systems and with the FREE software, the Cloning processes went smooth, copying around 7GB a min I believe. And using a PCIe to NVMe adapter. It's not Corsair the troublesome.......When you have a Z490 and an MP510 480GB the Max Sequential Read Up to 3480 MBps and Max Sequential Write Up to 2000 MBps? You get a lot more than what you paid for.
  3. Could be that due to silicon shortage they can only find and use what's available. Either way, 700TW is a lot. I didn't see that when I bought my 480GB for my 2nd PC nor noticed when I bought two 240GB that I will be using for cloning the main drives. One thing is for sure, I woulnd't go with any other brand as they (WD) can't be clone properly but these drives are amazing for cloning with the added FREE software.
  4. I have 3 options and I have made all 3 myself in my 3 systems. 1-Remove drive cage, throw it away because replacing an HDD with an SSD is much better. 2-Remove drive cage, place HDD on the frame with double-sided nylon velcro tape and put a 120mm fan on top 3-Remove drive cage and get an NVMe 2280 USB 3.2 enclosure and install an MP-510 for 2x the speed of an SSD and 10x the speed of an HDD. Option 2 is what you should do.
  5. Choices, choices..........it's all about choices. Simple as that.
  6. You're gonna have to send the kit back, not just one stick and Corsair now requires the proof of purchase, hopefully, they are fast with yours, when I RMA'ed my USB flash drive, they took over three months and I think I saw in the webpage that they were waiting for my response, which made no sense but save the RMA page so you have quick access to it. I don't buy electronics from Amazon, they handle too much stuff, I go to newegg every time, and never a bad kit.
  7. have you plugged in the USB 2.0 cable to the motherboar's header?
  8. They look like fan connectors, it may have a fan controller so far up the A that they included fan extension cables.
  9. Next time, put the power supply with the fan facing the floor, not the inside of the case. Most likely all that dust inside the PSU created a static and blew a capacitor.
  10. USB flash drives don't require "tech support", but if you want the best and a so much storage that you'll probably will not need anymore, get the ASUS ROG STRIX Arion Aluminum Alloy M.2 NVMe SSD External Portable Enclosure Case Adapter and buy an MP510, put them together and you'll send up with this:
  11. I almost bought that case but it's way too short for a large video card, I think it was as small as the Phanteks P300 that I wanted to replace, I ended up going with a different brand. Although I went for a different brand, my 2nd option was going to be the 4000D, but if you are into or MUST have RGB, then the 4000X, that case is plenty big to fit any video card.
  12. Easy..........it's no longer taught in public schools. Nor is plastered all over smartphones, though if that were to happen? Maybe, maybe, JUST maybe we'll have a few people smarter than their phones. Imagine if all of a sudden Apple's billboard on a highway is like: The new iPhone 14 & 14 Pro! The number of millennials running off the road because they can't figure out that there are two new phones coming out.
  13. I bought two kits of 16GB each, one in July the 2nd in August 2019, and to this date, on a daily use I have never encountered that issue. I didn't have the LED on full blast, I had them set on the RAIN effect with the slowest speed but I will say that about two weeks ago, I turned them off, I don't like RGB, reason why for my second build I'm going to buy the 175R case and 0/ZERO/ZILCH/NADA RGB.
  14. YOU TAKE IT AS "SHOUTING. I DO IT AS EMPHASIS ON WHAT THE POINT IS, SINCE THAT MOST PEOPLE READ BUT NEVER COMPREHENDS OR TAKE THE POINT WITH THEIR OWN THOUGHTS AND NEVER READ THE WHOLE SENTENCE BUT THE FIRST AND SECOND PARAGRAPH AND HAVE THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE WHOLE POINT IS THAT. Just like when there are people that use air quotation and I wonder if someone would take it as they're being taken or considered a "retard" that can't understand. The internet posts are not like books. Congrats on the 40c drop, I guess your card at full speed is now at 20c. My card highest is 56c and clock higher than the rated OC speed, would buy a block for my 1660 and have the highest at 16c. And yes, you can reply with all capital letters, I don't take anything as "shouting". Since that "shouting" is a VERBAL form of communication, not "sign language" or typing.
  15. And as a consumer myself, a lot of your points are completely moot. Your mainstream CPU blocks are "ok", but not perfect. I guess AMD and Intel's CPU sizing is imperfect. P.S. Not everyone has a $500 FULL Tower and the percentage of users having a Full Tower is so negligible that it probably doesn't count. Most use a Mid-Tower, and the reservoir is PERFECT for the sizing of both. High pitch? What!!! I can't hear a high pitch coming from the pump due to the 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 fans in the case.
