  1. Hi, I am not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I am currently playing Far Cry 6 and the RGB integration doesn't work at all. It simply doesn't do anything. I don't know if this is an issue with the game or with iCUE. Both FC6 and iCUE installations are from the last 2 days so the recent version of both (5.7.106 for iCUE). I only have K65 LUX keyboard and GLAIVE mouse connected, and they both work fine with the iCUE software. I also checked in the settings of iCUE that both game integration and software integration are turned on. Any idea why this isn't working?
  2. Hi, I really like the new iCUE, runs very smooth for me without any issues. But I would really like corsair to implement some things: 1. In the "Arc" effect (which I really like) I would like to have the option to make the transitions of the colors slower. Right now you can change the speed of the effect but it also slows down the whole effect, I only want to make the transitions slower, making the effect staying more time in each color. 2. Thing that's already been requested before, but please add Min/ Max for the dashboard temperature sensors, and make it for the whole session not just for 1 minute. Shouldn't be that hard to record and store the minimum and maximum temperature, it's only two changing variables.. just like in HWinfo. Those are the critical for now (the second is more critical obviously). Maybe will update later. And you guys can update this if you want. Thx.
  3. Hi, All my peripherals and case fans are corsair's , but I have Gigabyte GPU and G.skill Trident Z rgb RAM. I read somewhere that working with G.Skill lighting software is bad together with Icue and can cause issues. How about Gigabyte RGB fusion? It can also control my RAM but I don't want to install it if it can cause issues. their software is bad as it is but I just have to get rid of the default Rainbow effect of the RAM. Thx.
  4. Hi, I would like to log the temperatures for the CPU and GPU while I am gaming, just like you can do in HWinfo. I see that the sensor info on the dashboard section is always resetting itself. Any way to keep the highest temperatures? Thx.
  5. Yeah, I want that 4000C16 kit.. I only wish I could find somewhere to buy it from (internationally). And yeah I'm talking about XMP, I don't want to manually overclock my RAM. I need 32gb so I am willing to buy 2x16 or 4x8.. I couldn't find Corsair RAM with this config with those timings you mentioned. I guess I will have to look for Samsung b-die instead of "Corsair" in the search.
  6. Hi, Any reason why I can't find Corsair RAM with tight timings like G.Skill? For example: G.Skill 3600 CL16, Corsair CL18.. G.Skill 4000 CL 14 (15..16..17), Corsair CL19.. Why is that? Right now I have G.Skill Trident z but I returned using Corsair peripherals so I want to match the ram as well. The Corsair Dominator looks pretty sweet.. But I don't want to compromise performance. Why are Corsair behind in RAM timings?
  7. I got this also in my K65 lux, I think the game simply takes over windows' audio control. It's not the keyboard's fault. But I'm not sure.
  8. Hi, I have Glaive mouse. I want to know if I use only Windows default driver (without iCue) if it is using the 1000Hz polling rate. I didn't see any setting for polling rate in Windows. I know that in iCue software you can change the polling rate (but the default is 1000Hz). Thx.
  9. I have a lot of experience with both Origins and Odyssey, both need at least 6 cores cpu to run smoothly without hiccups (that's the reason I upgraded from 4790k to 8700k couple of years ago) and even than, the cpu reach 90%-100% usage many times, but at least it's not stuttering. But if you start to use additional background softwares (like iCue) I wouldn't be surprise if it can't handle it.. For that you need an 8 cores cpu, preferably with hyperthreading. Those are maybe not the most optimized games ever but this is not what causing the high cpu usage, people got to realize that the days where you can play AAA games with only 4 cores CPU are long gone and games in this scale need more. 8 cores CPU is the optimal configuration right now, where 6 is still passable. Don't forget that the computer is handling more that just the game..there is a lot of things that need to run in the background, even simple windows tasks. That's why you need more that just the "Game requirements". I think iCue is a good software with a lot of potential for future improvements, and I much prefer it over other companies' tools (I'm looking at you gigabyte..) and corsair got the best RGB implementation hands down. As it happened, recently I am having some funky issues in games so I decided to to a clean windows installation and this time didn't install iCue. So I don't have RGB control and case fan control only through the bios. Right now my CPU (9900K) is working as it should, boosting all the way to 5GHz and much more "relaxed" when in idle state, the clocks goes down to 800MHz pretty often and the temperature is low, usage is at 0%-1% in the desktop while with iCue it was at least 6%-7% all the time and the clocks was bouncing all over the place, not to mention that the cpu didn't even reach 4.9GHz, the maximum was 4.8GHz while iCue was running. So I'm trying to keep windows super clean this time.. too bad for the RGB though. I replaced the K65 LUX with K70 non-rgb for the time being and unplugged the mouse pad from the usb port, with only the Glaive's hardware rainbow effect and H100i platinum spiral rainbow.
  10. Nothing? Are you telling me there is no option to save onboard profiles to the keyboard?? In the K70 (non-rgb) there is an option to program the keyboard, the K65 rgb should be even more advanced. I didn't even see an option to change the default (hardware) effect of the keyboard, right now it is all red with white arrow buttons and "W,A,S,D".
  11. Hi, So I figured out how to save hardware profile for my Glaive mouse. A few questions: 1.Is there a way to save multiple effects to the mouse so I can switch between them? And if it's possible, than how can I switch between those effects without iCue running. 2.Can I save multiple lighting effects to my K65 LUX? How can I Switch between them? 3.I don't see a way to change the hardware lighting effect on the H100i Platinum, it's only showing Spiral rainbow but I don't see a button which lets me change this. I actually want to remove it completely so it won't light at all when iCue isn't running. 4. Same question for the Polaris mouse pad.. How can I switch off the hardware lightning completely? Thx.
  12. Hi, I know about the dashboard where you can see the current info. But is there any way that the software put this in a graph for the last hour,day.. etc? By the way, I would also like to see more info like GPU load (its strange that this is not already there..since we have CPU load). And final thing, can you recommend any way that I can check what are the temp1, temp2, temp2...for the motherboard sensors? I have no idea where to start. Thx.
  13. @DevBiker Great info man, thanks a lot. I just wanted to further clear something that you probably didn't understand me completely. The iCue software offers presets for fan curves (quiet, balanced, extreme). I wanted to use the balanced preset for my case fans based on GPU temperature. So far so good.. So I went into the commander pro's tab on the software, and than to "performance" tab and added a new custom curve (I am not talking about the presets that are based on the cpu package temperature) and on the top right side you can choose between "quiet", "balanced" , "extreme" (you have 3 buttons)... But they are based on RPM and not PWM%, 0 - 2500 rpm of I'm not mistaken.. because I have different fans in my system, each one with different RPM rating, I can't use those presets. BUT, if they would use % than I can apply the "balanced" curve to all my fans in one single click.. Understand me? Actully I don't really understand why they even put thoses presets in the first place, it is useless if people can't use it for their fans. It's like they are designed to very specific fan. Just open a new custom curve in the commander pro and see what I mean. An also, I think the reason why the AIO's curves are still based on % is because they know people like to change the stock fans to whatever they like, and they must make the fan curve go with % so it can universally fit to all fans! Am I right?
  14. Good point, I know that also 3 pin fans can be controlled by voltage. you can set a % just like you would with 4 pin pwm fans.
  15. First of all thanks for the reply, very appreciated. And from your angle you are probably right, you made some good points. But I still think that for most average users, including me, RPM doesn't actually mean anything. people don't know how much noise 1400 rpm makes (only after they physically spin their fan at that speed in the machine..but same goes for %) and they don't do the "airflow math" to get a positive or negative pressure..etc'. "more or less" is good enough. So you just spin your fans at a certain % and see how much noise/cooling performance you get until you settle for whatever feels satisfactory. And also, the fact that fans are not exactly equal (even if they share the same specs/ same model) it still doesn't matter for most users (and the difference is usually neglectable anyway). All you know is that you want to get 40% at idle and go full blown 100% if your GPU reaches 80c :) I simple wanted to use the software pre-baked curves for convenience (is that too much too ask?), but the rpm doesn't match my fans, it takes them all the way to 100%. I think that at least the program should do a "calibration" of some sort to get a picture of each fan rpm rating. OR... simply give the option to use pwm% (they already have a fixed % option).
