  1. That makes sense. I believe I set mine up in a previous version and haven't tried it on 3.10+.
  2. It seems to me that the "save to device" and "hardware lighting" pretty much do the same thing. They could probably add the hardware lighting box to the lighting effects drop down on the K70. I'm guessing the save to device is still needed for macros or custom key mapping (not sure I haven't messed with that).
  3. Not sure about the Vengeance RGB Pro, but for the K70 you click on the K70 on the home screen, then on profiles and select a blacked out profile, then click the little memory card looking button that says "Save Static Lighting and Performance to Device."
  4. Wow, they fixed it in 3.10.125. I've only tested it a little, but so far so good. I can now set a lighting profile that is active while the PC is unlocked and set another (blacked out) in "hardware lighting" and they shut off when the PC is locked. The only odd thing is the orientation of the lights in "Pong" seems different. Not a big deal though. I'll mess with it more later. Looks like I won't be selling after all. Probably going to have to pick up a few more fans and commander pro.
  5. Good to know it does coming out of sleep as well. I just saw that it was hinted at in the other thread that there is a solution in the works, but that's about as close to communication as we've recieved. http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180506&page=7
  6. You have to use the old Link software if you want to keep your lighting profile while the computer's locked. To turn them off you set them to static color and change the RGB colors to 0,0,0. You don't actually need to adjust the brightness. If you want the lighting effects back on you have to go back in and change them to the desired lighting profile. Running the old Link limits the amount of stuff you can do with them. iCue has a lot of neat features, but it's useless to those of us who keep our PCs on 24/7 and can't stand rainbow barf. If you can shut down or put the PC to sleep it's not a problem.
  7. I agree, I wish they would at least comment on the issue and maybe give an estimate of when/if it will be fixed. It's not looking very promising. I'll give it another month before I sell my LL fans and look for an alternative to the H150i.
  8. I agree. It's pretty annoying having to use outdated software. I'm still holding off buying a Commander Pro and another 6 LL fans until it's fixed. :[pouts: If they're really against having an active USB connection on the lock screen (I think that's what I read, could be wrong) I would even be ok with a new version of the lighting node pro that can have a lighting profile saved to it like the keyboards can. Call it the Lighting Node Pro+.:D: Though I think it would probably be easier and cheaper just to implement it like it is in Link.
  9. I just tested with the brightness slider on full bright and the color still on black and it still works the same.
  10. Good to know. I'd like to see that change as well. I just set a static black color with the brightness down on the LL fans and the H150i in Link and it seems to stay when the computer locks and the screens turn off.
  11. Disabling the lock is a bad idea. The PC is also my media server and runs 24/7. I appreciate the suggestions though. I'm guessing I'll just have to uninstall iCUE again and go back to Cue/Link as they seem to work fine when locked.
  12. My PC is in the same room I sleep in so I set the lights to black when I lock the computer. With ICue when the PC goes to the lock screen my 3 LL fans (Lighting Node Pro) and H150 Pro go into rainbow mode. This isn't an issue with Cue/Link. Any ideas?
