I sell Enterprise Grade Networks to companies that need Enterprise Grade Networks (its a living)
  1. So, just a heads up, the H170i LCD counts as more than 3 fans in the iCUE LINK when you're calculating how to divide up your power on the HUB / My system is qty. 4 of the QX 140 RGB and qty. 1 of the H170i LCD All in, I'd certainly give iCUE LINK my highest recommendation as long as you take a minute to figure out how you're going to come at the HUB
  2. I have a few RGB Corsair fans lying around from previous projects un-used, is there a list of fans that will fit the A500 Dual Fan CPU Cooler I'm assuming the fans that come with the cooler can be swapped - the question is... What fans have been tested to fit ?
  3. General question on the L100 - does it work stand alone as lighting with no PC ..? I see it comes with a wall wart
  4. Agreed... Right now I'm building a secondary computer (Yeah you heard me right) Which is the Phanteks Evolve X case (amazing case very impressed) using an old X470 ASUS board and an AMD 5 3600X CPU got an older 2070 video card lying around once I get that unit standing upright and running I'll disassemble the waterloop system and take my time and completely clean it after I'm done cleaning it - I'll make my final decision on its fate likely I'll reassemble that 2080 and remove that cooler from it - I'm curious if I can get it back together completely that's a bunch of tiny screws
  5. my loop is 100% Corsair works great - looks cool - runs cool but ultimately the foggy GPU and all the future potential cleaning its really more than I'm interested in maintaining I'm glad I learned how and enjoyed the build process
  6. I'm having the same foggy problem in the GPU block... not happy I'll probably be disassembling the entire water cooling system and swapped out with fluid free cooling - back to free air systems never done a water cooled system - never doing another one
  7. Honestly, I wish none of the PSU's above 750 watts came with any cables at all... Just a 15 amp power cord My guess is more than 75% of quality PSU buyers order colored high-quality cable packs I have 3 bags of crap power supply cables in a box with old computer parts
  8. Sorry, more questions... So 1) Can you explain the fan directions - because you've got them on every surface 2) and is the GPU fan set pulling or pushing air..?
  9. I worked as slowly as I possibly could stand... I was terrified to miss something or skip a proper step the good news is it booted right up and works like a charm ! it's fast a ***** ! I can get about 150 frames on any game I try - and that is new
  10. Johnny87, Are you answering questions ..? I've got several 1) How was the 680 to build inside..? (I'm seriously considering it for my next build) 2) What vertical GPU mount is that..? 3) What monitor is that..? 4) is that a stock Corsair keyboard or did you swap some stuff..? sorry about all the questions... super interested though
  11. First time Corsair builder here, Really enjoyed the quality of hardware and execution of design and application in other words this Corsair stuff is well thought out 10/10 would do again Corsair accessories load-out: Case Obsidian 500D ML120 Pro Fans XR5 360 Radiator XR5 240 Radiator XG7 GPU water block XC7 CPU water block XD5 Pump Corsair RM850x Power supply Corsair DRAM Corsair ST100 RGB Headphone Stand Corsair Virtuoso SE Headphones
  12. Corsair team: There was a video of somebody using a toothbrush to clean their XG7 Do you guys have any issues with this..? Actually seemed to work great but i'd love to know if its an advised cleaning technique
  13. This whole thread seems a little "click bait" ish.... More accurately than "XG7 GPU LEAKS..!!!" I think you could say " XG7 GPU can be broken if installed wrong" I wouldn't say its delicate but it can be broken pretty easily all that said - it doesn't leak when installed properly and in working order
  14. Is it the heat that breaks down the fluid over time..? or oxidation ?
