  1. Hi guys, I'll keep it quick. How do I stop iCUE from controlling my ASUS motherboard and ASUS RTX graphics card? It does not work at all, half of the rgb doesn't light up on my 3070. I did install the ASUS plug-in for iCUE to try it out but it didn't work. I've uninstalled iCUE and ASUS armory crate and reinstalled both. Was perfect for a day before iCUE took control again and messed up my RGB. Everything goes back to normal when I quit iCUE. I am running iCUE v3.38.61 (and yes, I have already tried v4 which is worse). Is there still a plug-in installed? Where is it located? Thanks.
  2. Hi. I use Corsair iCue. Tried to update (iCUE 3.33.246 release). Wouldn't update. Then tried to uninstall. Wouldn't uninstall. I used a third-party uninstall to power-uninstall iCue. It worked for uninstallation, but now I still can't install it. Even tried installing using the Administrator account. No luck. Keep getting this same error for everything I try. Very frustrating. No forum solutions I've searched online worked. Now, I have NO updates, and NO iCue software for my Corsair-brand gaming mousepad/mouse. Here's a screenshot. Please help. I keep having issues with iCue updates.
  3. My iCUE software freezes after I make one change or wait too long to make a change after i open it. When it freezes I can only close it in task manager. I have tried to uninstall but the uninstallation freezes aswell at 12%. Please help so frustrating.
  4. I will be building a new setup on a Maximus VIII Hero Alpha with an overclocked i7-6700k cooled with an H100i v2. The thing is that I do not intend to use Corsair Link. What is the optimal setup for this? The motherboard has three separate 4-pin headers labeled "W_PUMP", "CPU_FAN", and "CPU_OPT". The way I see it I have two options: I could connect the pump's power cable to W_PUMP and then the radiator's two 120mms to CPU_FAN and CPU_OPT. I could connect the pump's power cable to CPU_FAN and then connect the radiator's two 120mms to the pump. The H100i v2 manual says to go with option 2, but remember I will not be using Corsair Link for anything other than changing the LEDs. After that it will be uninstalled. Would this still give me optimal performance if I do not wish to manually control the fans, or would option 1 be better? What exactly would the differences be, performance wise, between these two options? After uninstalling Corsair Link, the RGB LED stays put. Is there a particular preset I should choose, and would that stay put too after uninstalling? If nothing is changed except the RGB LED, would the H100i v2 just perform at its default preset? And will this remain after uninstalling Corsair Link? Is the default preset any good? I don't want my system to be noisy, but I also plan on overclocking a little.
  5. So my CUE updated a few days ago to iCUE. everything was working but then the fans wouldnt stay in the set color i chose, only the RGB strips, and now my node wont show up as a device on iCUE. I tried uninstalling iCUE but i kept getting a message saying "can stop corsair services, make you sure you have the privilege to stop this service"I tried installing it again and the same message pops up i also tried deleting the folder and it says that its open. Please help.
