  1. I have the some light strips inside my 500D SE and I've noticed that the lights bleed through the back of the case and on to my wall. Do you guys have any good ideas on how to reduce this without messing up the airflow?
  2. Hi Guys, So far it seems to me like the only way to turn off the Dark Core's RGB lights is by creating a static colour profile with RGB decimals of 0, 0, 0 (i.e. black)? I wouldve expected there to be a button in iCUE at least to simply turn off the RGB lights but I cant find anything. The only reason that I ask, is that I just want to make sure that i'm not needlessly draining the mouse's battery by the LEDs still maybe being on but just with their brightness turned down really low or whatever. Any help/advice appreciated.
  3. Hello, I've just built myself a new rig (details below), and after a couple weeks of use and various software updates (I assume that's caused the problem, as I didn't see this issue at first) I've encountered an issue where the RGB lighting for my corsair fans and CPU cooler become erratic shortly after booting the computer up. This does not seem to affect the lighting on my RAM or keyboard. I am running the latest version of the iCUE software, and my hardware drivers for the lighting node, RAM, etc. are all up to date as well. I've also checked for OS updates and anything else I could think of, but the stuttering seems to toggle itself on and off randomly. Here are videos of the stuttering: Fans: https://www.dropbox.com/s/7mv9l5qzwxx0ic4/fans.mp4?dl=0 CPU Cooler: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2gp278x8q6huj27/cooler.mp4?dl=0 Has anyone else experienced issues like this before? 4. Hello everyone, I just have a slight issue with the RGB Lighting on my Corsair Vengeance RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory sticks. I have set up a specific lighting profile using the colour shift setting on the iCUE software and for some reason the actual lighting on the RAM lags quite a bit. I have installed everything correctly with the latest updates, updated all firmware, tried uninstalling and re-installing, and nothing has worked. Here is what the lagging looks like on the RAM: https://i.imgur.com/u06TMS6.mp4 Here is the lighting profile I have set up on the RAM in the iCUE software: https://i.imgur.com/GPTaSqI.png Any ideas on how to fix this?
  5. The title pretty much says it all :( Been loving my K68 for the past year but then one day the RGB lighting just stopped working and i can't figure out why or how to fix it :(
  6. Hello there! I received the Corsair SP 120 RGB Pro kit (with Lighting node Core included) for Christmas, and after i installed, iCue is not detecting the lighting node Core at all. I have tried restarting, re-cabling, re-downloading, checking drivers, and nothing seems to work. Please help! Thank you lots!! ~Ryan.
  7. I recently made a program which lights up keys on your keyboard in the shape of the character you just pressed. Feel free to give it a go and give me any feedback I do this all for fun so its good to learn how I can improve or if anyone has any ideas for better representation of some characters. 8. Hi all first post, been searching forums for a while cant find a fix for my particular problem, just built the system a couple days ago, when i first plugged everything in the cooler came on for about 10 seconds, flickered and was dim, the cooler pump works i can feel the vibration in the lines and im getting CPU temps around 30 degree C, havent installed a GPU yet, using onboard graphics at the moment (GPU prices and RTX release) but PC posted first try and i had the dim/flicker, im using commander Pro for my 4 sp120 fans on my 570x case, and i have 1 ML140 (because of fitment vs. mobo, top mount) on the radiator plugged into my CPU fan port on maximus x hero wifi/ac, the other plugs are set on a usb, aio control, and cpu opt, the 2 4 pin fan connections are tucked away not plugged into anything, my issue is no RGB lighting on the block. link and icue are installed and im able to control the fan speed and RGB one my 4 sp120s. motherboard doesn't recognize the h115i either. all help is greatly appreciated.
  9. I'm not sure if this violates the forum rules but I wanted to share a resource related to RGB lighting. The LED patterns are awesome. Does iCUE currently have a pattern editor like this? [ame= ] [/ame] [ame= ] [/ame] https://www.bhencke.com/pixelblaze/
  10. Hello. Recently i bought Pack of LL120 Fans. Before i use Thermaltake fans and NZXT fans they were ok but their software were not so advanced as ICUE. But their software have Music Sync which i woluld like to see in ICUE. But i have some ideas to make your software even more great. All folowing features applies to lightning controll of a fans and rgb led strips. 1. I would like to add delay before effect will be shown. something about sec before showing effects this would make more interesting actions. 2. Add playlist (timeline) for effects. SO you can drag them along time line and decide which one should be shown first, ovelap or not another effects. like on this picture. its taken from some fireworks software but i hope you understand the idea. 3. Ability to put effects to folders or pack effects into maybe groups so not to drag them from lighting library one by one and ability to put from one profile to another like a pack or group and maybe export and not to create profile for each. This features for me are very valuable. If it possible to implement them? at least timeline. Because f.e. i want what light will folow each other with some delay but its very difficult to make.
  11. New to the forums, so "Greetings" to everyone! I just created my first custom lighting profile for Star Trek Online, thought I'd share it with you all. The video's not the greatest, but is edited well. Features include: - 3 color modes associated with the M keys, Fed, KDF, and Romulan - Custom reactivity associated with arrow keys - Custom reactivity associated with F1-F5 (team targeting) - Esc key reactive - L-CTRL key reactive (used in my personal setup for PTT) - Alpha-numeric 1-8, and spacebar associated with weapons. Wave effect with press of any of these keys, while the pressed key remains reactive for 4s. - F12 reactivity associated with HUD configuration - Mute and WinLock keys schemed with the 3 profiles - Random lighting on some of the G-keys - G1, 2, 3, 6, and 9 associated with fighter/carrier activities, (TBD presently if bindings work in-game) and react accordingly - R key defaults to toggle throttle or auto-forward, lighted accordingly. - Arrow keys react, defaulted for shield management I laid this all out with the bindings I personally use. Feel free to change it to your liking if you play this game. Enjoy. [ame] [/ame]Star Trek Online.prf
  12. I've had this problem for a while, where only the first LED on my four LED strips light up. The LED that lights up is the one closest to the Lighting node pro. By the first LED I don't just mean the first LED strip, buy only the very first LED light. I've tried using and reinstalling both Corsair Link and Utility engine, none of them work. I've also tried switching around the slots for the fans and strips in the lighting node pro, but this didn't help either. I've also tried switching around the order of the strips, but to no avail. My current rgb setup: 3x HD120 fans plugged into fan hub, fan hub plugged into lighting node pro slot 1, 4x LED strips connected to each other (came with the lighting node pro) plugged into slot 2 of the lighting node pro. How should I go about fixing this?
  13. 1.)Do the corsair RGB LED extension cables count as a qty when determining the number of strips allowed when connecting to a node pro, (4 strips allowed per channel), so is a extension counted as 1 of the 4 allowed? 2.) Is there a max number of extensions allowed? I dont need 20 of them, lol, but I may need 4 or so in a chain to reach the other side of my build, and Im hoping it doesnt count in my 4 max limit. 3.) IF you cant buy other companies extensions, why dont they sell them by themselves, especially if you already have enough LEDs, and the extenstion kit is expensive.....
  14. Hi, I am interested to know if I could grab any aftermarket WS2812b Addressable RGB LED strip and plug it into a free slot on the Corsair Link Node Pro. I will use the appropriate connections if possible. Thank you
  15. Hey there, I wanted to know if there is a way to cut the "Corsair RGB Pro strips" for the "Corsair Commander Pro". I know the waranty ends with this but there is no way to get it into the the place in hhe case. So far i know all LED strips are cuttable ( and still usable after this ) OR Is it possible to use other RGB strips ? Technical yes, i think, but what volatage do i need and there are only 3 pins on the connector. I found a thread here: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=131660 But those are the "old" strips with 4 pins. Thanks for help!
  16. So I've looked just about everywhere on these forums for a solution to my problem, but it seems I have a fairly unique case on my hands... I recently purchased a 460x with the intention of switching out the RGB fans it comes with for HD120's. I was going to wait until I had a little more money but from the git go the SP fans in the 460x were malfunctioning from the very start. There would be only one fan lit up and it was very dim, so I decided to just make the plunge and buy the 3 fan HD120 kit. The first kit I bought was an open box deal so I knew there could be potential trouble. I installed the kit per the directions making sure to swap out the SP Lighting Controller with the HD one provided in the kit and also changing out the Lighting Hub with the new one just in the event that the one the case came with was defective. With everything properly powered I turned on my PC and now only 2 of the fans would light up. I called Corsair's tech support and they had me try each fan individually in the #1 slot on the hub. The two fans that would light up originally were the only ones that would work in that slot but they still were very dim and the controller could not change them either. The tech support agent said I should try exchanging the open box for a brand new kit. The next day I exchanged the used kit for a brand new one and went home immediately to install them. I cautiously installed them this time as to not potentially damage their delicate ecosystem. I screwed the fans into place first and then connected them each to the motherboard. I then stuck the controller and hub to the respective areas and connected the SATA power to hub as well as the controller to the hub. Next I connected the controller to the front IO of 460x so that I could control the fans from the case instead of the internal controller. I then routed the fan wires to their proper 1, 2, 3 positions in the hub and powered everything on. The fans only partially lit and eventually one of them just stopped working all together. I still had no control over their functionality from either the case controller buttons or the provided controller. I called tech support again and walked them through my process. The tech agent asked that I try each fan individually in the #1 slot and so I did. Each fan lit up, but only partially. The tech agent asked if I had connected the controller to the front IO cables on both installation attempts and so he deduced that the common denominator was trying to use the front panel controller. He said it could be shorting out the hub or controller or the fans themselves and that I should return the kit for a new one and this time not connect the controller to the front IO. He also said to make sure to not disconnect or connect any fans or SATA power cables while the PC was running. I went to the store and swapped out the kit again. I installed everything the same way except I made sure to not connect the case to the controller this time. I powered the PC on and all three lit up but were slightly different colors and still were not as bright as they should be. Some of the LED's on each fan were lit, but only very very dimly. I turned off the PC each time I tried to change a cable or swap a fan cable with another and still no luck. I tried several different SATA power cables but eventually the whole kit stopped lighting up all together and has not since. Long story short... I'm on kit #3 and have tried 3 different ways of installing these fans and have yet to get them working correctly for even 10 seconds. I don't think I want to try another kit, so perhaps I'll just give up on my RGB setup. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
