I am setting up a custom water loop using an xd5 pump ,finding it hard to find out if, what I want to do is run the pump pwm line from my strix rz5700xt fan header on GPU since I can set this to run off GPU temp and power the pump from the molex connection,a few I asked said it would draw too much power from the gpu I thought the pump draw was from molex and pwm line was for rpm and signal ,any help would be nice

My top priority is Low-Noise so thinking of getting an H100i RGB PLATINUM AIO cooler and all ML fans. Not wanting to deal with CoPro and Hubs, and NodePros... I just want a case that has it all... but want ML fans :). Ok I guess that's not going to happen but just thought I'd ask. While I have your attention: Should the case fans be connected to the mobo or the Commander Pro? Which would control as a function of temp?? Zotty's post shows the fans hooked up to some PWM-repeater small circuit board but I'm not sure what that is. The Corsair carbide 678c 6-port pwm repeater is out of stock... I can see how it would make sense to have all fan speeds controlled by the same "controller" to help with push/pull. I'm not overclocking... or gaming for that matter (sorry guys)... so maybe I don't need that many fans? (noise)? Sorry for all the questions :) MSI Z390 MEG ACE, i7-9900K, WX 5100, Thanks, -Ed

Hi guys, I recently finished a build using Corsair's case 460X RGB. It looks gorgeous, by the way. I've attached a pic. The issue - I can't control the fan speed using BIOS (tried Speedfan as well). There are no changes in speed even if I put them at 0%, or 100%. It still shows ~1600rpm after I save & restart, and there are no changes in loudness, from what my ear can tell. I am using my mobo's feature Fan-tastic tuning, which allows each mobo's fan hub to be controlled separately. The case comes with 3 SP120's fit inside + the RGB controller. I purchased an additional SP120 to fit as exhaust of the case. To be able to give power to all of the 4 fans, I bought a fan hub that fits 4 PWM fans. The hub is connected to my motherboards chassis fan connector (4-pin). I am out of options at this point. The fans are quite loud. Can someone steer me in the right direction or tell me what am I doing wrong?
