  1. Hi all, I own 6 LL 120 mm RGB fans along with the lightning nodes and a Commander Pro. I use iCue. When I first got the fans and commander pro (including the newly replaced ones), everything worked fine! I had maximum control of all rgb fans and I was very happy with them. But after some time, say three months, the fans started to exhibit weird behaviour. Sometimes the colour of one or more fans would display incorrectly, no matter which mode the fans were in (Rainbow, static color, alternating colors, I am familiar with the software bugs using static color). I was able to curb this behaviour by reducing the number of LEDS per fan. This solved these problems and the fans were fully controllable. Until not much later, because some fans would not react anymore or be consistently at the setting I wanted, with the exeption that the LEDS can be shut off without a problem. Disabling more LED's did not solve the issues anymore. Now I am in the situation where the RGB on only two fans work properly, the rest is disabled. The rest does not respond, either not at all or not consistently to the settings I feed them. I do not have any problems with fan control, only the rgb control. Now comes the kicker. I have had this exact problem twice! I RMA'ed my fans, rgb controllers, lightning nodes and commander pro under the premise that this problem was due to either faulty fans or commander pro. Does anybody know if I am dealing with an hardware issue or software issue here? Is this caused by iCue, Windows, the fans, commander pro or other hardware? I reinstalled iCue multiple times, tried shutting down Corsair services (other known bug), etc. I am gonna rule out the question which everyone is gonna ask: have you connected the fans properly? The answer is yes, all fans are connected to the commander pro for power and fan control and all rgb connectors are connected via the rgb hubs (with the six rgb connector inlets) to the commander pro. I have tried multiple setups to check whether it was a problem on my side. I've tried switching every rgb connector and also tried to divide the rgb connectors between the two hubs, with or without the lightning nodes and switching between them to eliminate the possibility of a faulty lightning node. I even disconnected some fans from the system altogether. I am fairly certain that if it was due to the order of the connections on the hub or node, the chance is 1 in a billion that this would happen to me twice, in the exact same way, with two different sets of products. Furthermore, it does not explain why it worked fine in the first three months. I also tried different ports for the Commander Pro on my motherboard, with no succes. I also have plenty of power to power all these fans (and other hardware) Any help would be appreciated. RMA'ing is within my rights as a consumer, but it feels a bit wasteful to keep RMA'ing fans every three months to have the products I paid for.
  2. Hi, I've used iCUE for now couple of months and everything was doing fine. But recently the program just started to act strangely, when I open it, it opens but after that as soon as I click anywhere it's lagging and (stop responding), if I wait like 2-3 mins it does the command I asked but as soon as I try anything else it does it again. Sometimes it just doesn't respond and end up crashing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall a clean version but it keeps doing it. Any ideas ? Thanks
  3. Hello everyone, I purchased a K95 Platinum Keyboard or Dec. 27. In the 4 days that i have had, its been a complete nightmare. After installing iCUE, i have had nothing but problems. When opening the iCUE window half the time it wont open causing me to have to quit the program and try to relaunch it. If I am able to get the window to open it runs extremely sluggish and 95 percent of the time it says (Not responding) and will then give me the option to wait for iCUE to respond or close the program. I have uninstalled iCUE and reinstalled it at least a dozen times and the problem never changes. Really love the keyboard and don't want to have to switch to another brand, but this software is complete trash and making it so I cant use the macro buttons, which is entire reason I switched to it. I'd appreciate any advice to fix this situation, instead of having to return this keyboard.
  4. My k70 RGB keyboard lighting will sometimes stop responding out of nowhere and wont be fixed unless I reboot my computer with the keyboard unplugged and then plug it in when my computer is booted up. By not responding I mean that it will show just my base lighting color with no effects or anything, and will not change when i try to change it in the software. It does this at random and cannot be fixed until i reboot my computer. I am plugging in the keyboard through USB 3.0 with just the usb cord with the keyboard on it. How can i fix this issue? I just updated the firmware to 1.15 and re-downloaded the software and the keyboard lighting still stops responding.
  5. I have the Non-RGB Strafe, Red LED, and it has stopped working. To be exact; I booted my computer to the login page where i was able to start typing and it was already typing, I cleared the items off and it continued to do so, even after a restart. On consecutive restarts it booted into my bios on its own, so I unplugged the keyboard and plugged it back in and it stopped the random typing. Now only the lock keys, NUM, SCROLL, CAPS, light up when i plug it in. They stay lit, even when my PC is off. No other LEDs come on. I've tried literally every port, my 4 3.0 and 2 2.0 ports on the back and the two 3.0 and 2.0 ports each on the front panel. All the ports work, tried with my external, mouse, and a second keyboard. Strangely, when I connect the pass-through cable, which i never use, I get the same occurrence. The lights always stay lit unless I flip the switch on the power supply cutting power to the entire system. Sometimes, I flipped the switch and then the lights don't come on immediately and then start blinking when I boot. Sometimes like this, I can hit the space-bar and windows will go to the password screen, but I am unable to type literally anything. Using a second keyboard I can login to windows. Windows does not recognize my keyboard, nor does CUE. I tried my keyboard on my laptop to see if it was just my PC and the same thing happens. Even tried it on my damn Steam Link to no avail.
  6. I just installed iCUE but when I tried to open it, it stopped responding. About 20 minutes have passed and it's still like that. I've reinstalled the program but it's still not responding. Is there a way to install the previous CUE? I can't find it anywhere on the corsair webpage
