  1. Hello, today I bought a nightsword rgb at microcenter. I open the box to use it and it works normal for 1 second then my cursor stops moving. I don't know what else to explain if you have any ideas on how to fix this? Or what else I should do. Thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you for your time. Wholeebear
  2. Hello! Just purchased a Corsair Nightsword to replace my old G502, feels great so far, very solid mouse, but one large deal breaker problem has arisen. I can remap to onboard hardware every button except the profile up and down buttons, and I really need those buttons, or at least one to be remapped if this mouse will successfully replace my old G502! I can't understand why the iCUE software lets me select and input the remapping I require, and save, only for it not to work. I can only rebind the profile buttons in software mode, which is no use to me at all. Any help/hacks/work arounds please? Seems strange to have such a great mouse, then lock out two buttons for no apparent reason... Cheers!
  3. hey are any other owners of the nightsword having the same problem as me? The dpi down button became really lose and move around further than its suppose to after a few months. this didnt happen on my dark core and everything else on the mouse is super solid.
  4. I've noticed that when I set the Nightsword to all white for the lighting, the scroll area has a purplish color. If I set it to other colors, it doesn't seem to be an issue. Here is an image of it. I can't seem to figure out how to fix this. I've gone through the iCUE software and couldn't find any setting to help with this. The other thing is that the white has a bit of a blueish tint to it on the Nightsword. I'm using this along with a Low Profile K70 mk2 keyboard, and the keyboard has more of a purplish tint with the white. Here's an image of it. Is it normal to have this happen?
  5. Hello All, I am a long time frequenter of these forums, but have never posted. I have recently acquired the Corsair "Nightsword" wired mouse. The device works well and I'm growing to like the shape. There is one issue I'm having. The device is supposed to detect the weights that are installed, and calculate the weight/balance. Unfortunately, the mouse doesn't seem to properly detect the weights when they are installed. I also note that the iCue software doesn't calculate the weight or update the center of mass diagram. At the end of the day, this in no way impacts my use of the mouse. I am completely fine with manually inputting the weights, or just ignoring it altogether. That said, it is a feature I wouldn't mind having just because it IS a feature of this mouse. Has anyone else had this problem? Attached image shows the weights that register on the software. Note that all 6 weights are installed, but only 4 show up on the application. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you! Edit: I just have realized that the X, Y, and Z values do change as I manually input weight values. So, I suppose that this portion of the app is working!
  6. The default DPI/Sniper lighting colours for my Nightsword are red/yellow respectively. When I switch to any profile, it shows these default lighting colours for about 5 seconds before switching to the colours I've defined in the profile. Anyone else seeing this problem? Is this a hardware or software issue? It's not a deal-breaker for me; just annoying. iCue: 3.17.94 Nightsword firmware: 3.35
