  1. I like to watch streams from twitch while gaming but sometimes would be nice to have macro key to mute only google chrome / twitch. This keyboard have FN+F5 but it mutes all sounds including game sounds. Anyone want help me? Keyboard i have is Strafe RGB.
  2. I have a Harpoon mouse and a Strafe keyboard and wanted to bind a button in one of them (or both) to mute the microphone on my USB headset (non-Corsair). There is no option for that on the media buttons in ICUE software. I see that some threads were opened about this but all suggested third party software. Can this be implemented?
  4. So had an interesting thing just happen to me, its night here and I was doing some work, so I mutes my system as not to wake others. when I was done With my work I decided to play some game. Turned on my Virtuoso Headset an blam! the entire system froze. Completely unresponsive to anything. even the RGB on my corsair fans went to hardware mode. Had to force power off the machine. After the fact I looked through the the event viewer and found some interesting stuff; (Events separated by returns) A problem has occurred with one or more user-mode drivers and the hosting process has been terminated. 5. Hi All, I bought this headset on back in 2017, its currently on its last legs. Recently the mute button stopped working and annoyingly it got stuck on mute. I googled and found nothing, so I thought I might as well give it a go fixing it. With no experience of this at all, I got it working by doing the following: 1) Open the headphone, with a screwdriver (the side with the mic) 2) Undo the screws holding in the circuit board 3) Push through the volume dial allowing you to lift the circuit board from the case. (Be careful not to break any solder holding the wires) 4) On the other side of the circuit board, there are 2 buttons, one is the power and the other is the mute button. Manually click the mute button. 5) Reassemble 6) all working :) If it was still under warranty, I would have gone for that route; however, this headset was useless in the state it was in so I thought might as well give it a go. This is not advice or a tutorial, this is sharing my own experience. Good luck
  6. I recently purchased the Virtuoso RBG Wireless (regular, not the SE) at PAX East because one of the representatives there told me that it’s a headset that would would for PC, PS4, and XBox. I’m a streamer, so going down to one headset was something I was very interested in. I’m able to get audio into the headphones just fine, and the mic works as well. My only issue is that it refuses to mute, despite getting the mute noise indicator and the mic itself going red. I haven’t tested it on PS4 yet, but this is a problem for me. I haven’t been able to find any solution to this issue on the forums; most of what I’ve seen had been the mic stuck on mute. Anyone have any ideas?
  7. I've been dealing with this since the first time I turned on the headset. Excited as hell to try them out, I set them all up and immediately ran into an issue that I have been unable to resolve. The mic will automatically mute as soon as the headset has turned on, and can not be unmuted. I have flipped the mic up and down a million times, I've reset the microphone by holding the mute button and all that dozens of times. I switched into every USB port I have. I uninstalled and then reinstalled iCue. I have tried everything. I reached out to Corsair about the issue. After 2 days, they finally responded, telling me to- you guessed it- try the reset procedure again. Of course, I obliged, and still nothing. I told them this in the email, and they have still yet to get back to me. At this point, I am considering just returning the product and ordering a new one. My only fear is that the issue is a software one, and that if I order another one, the issue will remain. I am tired of wasting my time on this.
  8. Hello, on the Website of Corsair, they mentioned the function of automatic muted mic, when i flip it up, but i didn´t work. I tried it serveral times and the iCue Software is installed. How can i fix this problem? Thank you for help! Here is the Quote: "The wired and wireless USB versions of the VOID PRO also feature RGB illumination on the CORSAIR logo present on each earcup which can be adjusted in the CORSAIR UTILITY ENGINE (CUE). Additionally, these two versions of the VOID PRO automatically mute the microphone when you lift the mic boom (the base of the microphone will light up in red when it is muted)." - https://www.corsair.com/us/en/blog/VOID-PRO
  9. Hi, I'm running icue 3.6.109 and have a HS70 headset. When I hit the mute button, there is no notification to let me know my headset is muted. Is there something i can configure in the software so that i get a pop up or something with the tray icon? Currently running windows 7, should be upgrading to windows 10 soon. Thanks, Jas
  10. Kann man die Ohrpolster einfach abnehmen und waschen ? Wenn ja, was muss man beachten ?
  11. Hi. I just bought a new Void Pro wireless SE headset. I just want to know if there is any way to disable/turn off the red light that indicates that your mic is muted. I already disabled the leds of the ear cups but I'm not able to do the same with this mic led. Since I rarely use the mic this led would be on all the time and I don't want to waste my battery charge with this. I appreciate any help.
  12. Hi I recently discovered that the MIC on my VOID headset does not actually mute when I press the mute button even though all the indicators show it as muted. I discovered this during a Skype business call , where I thought I was muted, but that is a story for another time. So I have CUE running and everything connected. When I press the mute button on the headset, the infomic mute LED turns on and CUE shows that the mic volume as muted. So all the indications show the MIC is muted, but it isn't, the MIC still records sound. I have also tried turning the MIC off in CUE, that also makes all the indicators like the LED show it is muted, but it isn't. I have since discovered that the MIC works correctly if I close CUE. Then everything works 100% The only problem then is that the lighting effects turn on, on the headset, which I don't like because it unnecessarily drains the battery. I have reinstalled the drivers for the dongle and headset. I have also installed a new version of CUE from 2.10.71 to 2.11.115. This has not helped. Since it works when I close CUE I suspect it is a software problem. Can anyone please give some advice on how to correct this, OR is there a way to turn the lighting effects off, without having to run CUE? Regards
  13. Does anyone know how I can light up my numpad when I mute my microphone, I use a specific key combination (alt+d). I want to make it flashing like a police light or something. I tried some things, but can't figure it out.
  14. Hi all - I'm a Mac guy posting on behalf of my son, so forgive me for not having all the system specs on hand. Windows 10, all the most recent updates, drivers, and control panel. The Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB headset seems to work fine for a while, and then it's like a poltergeist is holding down the volume key on the keyboard. The volume drops to nothing, and as soon as we click the keyboard shortcut to turn the volume back up, the ghost takes over and holds the volume down key until there's no sound. After some research we thought it might be Skype taking over, but it happens even without Skype running. It happens using any software, although most often it's running Steam or Overwatch. We've also fooled with the exclusivity options in the audio properties, but that hasn't helped. I have a machine running Windows 7 Pro on which we've tested the Vengeance and it seems to work OK, but again, sometimes it takes a while for the problem to occur. I can't seem to find anyone else who has this same problem. Any ideas?
  15. Hey there. I'm just wondering if there's a way to fix this weird buzzing that comes usually when I'm playing a song and then stop it, or when I access specific websites such as corsair.com. If I play a video/song on YouTube, for example, and then stop it, it starts buzzing and ~5 seconds later it stops. Is this some kind of settings on CUD or something I don't know about? I'm using the 7.1 wired version since my friend told me not to get the wireless one because his battery dies kinda quickly so I went ahead and bought the wired one.
