  1. Hi, I could not be 100% sure if the original cable between PSU HX1000 platinium ( 2021 model) and AX1200i ( 2013 or 2014) can be swapped safely. From compatibility corsair chart all type 3 and type 4 cable except 24 pin seems to be compatible. - However for Molex/4 pin, the pinout seems different (see picture attached). why original cable between HX1000 and AX1200i can be swapped with different pinout? - PCIE/sata the pinout are the same so can they be swapped? Thank you
  2. Hi All, Have read through a few threads but still a little unsure of best option for powering a 3rd 3080 off of my HX1200. Have attached 2 options that I'm thinking about, I'm thinking that Option A has more power lines running to it so the load is distributed more evenly, although it introduces additional splitters. Option B seems to be possible based on the pig tail cords each being able to support full 150 watts...this is based on previous thread discussion however there seems to be a lot of back n forth. If you had to choose between the 2, what would be considered the better option? (more lines with Molex, or less lines without Molex) Thanks in advance
  3. I was Secret Santa'd 3 LL140 fans this year. I disconnected some of the old cooling fans (which were connected through molex) and connected the RGB fans off a 3-pin splitter off the motherboard. Everything's connected properly as far as I can tell off the node (I've been at this for a while now). The fans seem to be running fine, but I'm not getting any color. I downloaded iCue and once the software started, the RGB flickered and now is no longer working. Any suggestions of what to try?
