  1. Hi, I purchased a corsair AIO a while back, specifically h150i elite capellix, and I hooked it up and it's been working just fine. Recently, I purchased three ML120 pro rgb fans, and I connected them to the same commander core that is included with h150i elite capellix. The issue is that all three of the new fans work just fine and I can customize the fan curve and everything in icue software, except when I run the wizard in the lighting setup tab, only two of them get detected and I can't control the rgb on the third fan. I mean it doesn't even light up. I've rearranged the ports to make sure the commander core is not faulty, and it's not. Even I tried setting it up manually but no luck. At this point, I highly suspect the rgb on the third fan is broken but still I wanted to ask to see if that's a glitch in icue software or if there is an easy fix. Thank you so much
  2. At the moment i have 10 Fans in my PC 3 ML120 on my Corsair elite Capellix 150i and 7 QL120 All connected with Fan Splitters to the Commander pro. I want to change them to 7 Corsair ML120 Pro 75 CFM 120 mm Fans https://pcpartpicker.com/product/wPFXsY/corsair-co-9050041-ww-750-cfm-120mm-fan-co-9050041-ww and 2 Corsair ML140 Pro 97 CFM 140 mm Fan https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/product/ycH48d/corsair-co-9050046-ww-970-cfm-140mm-fan-co-9050046-ww Now my question is, does the Commander pro work with these Fans? If i plug them into the fan part of the Hub will i be able to control them in Icue to change and adjust the fan speed. I have looked around for the last few hours but i can't seem to find a real answer on them, no videos or forum really explaining it. so i made an account here in the hopes of getting an answer!
  3. Hello Guys I'm New to this Forum and my english is not the best but i hope you can help me. I'm going to buy a new PC and at the moment i collect my komponents. One Thread about the H150i Elite Capellix from Zotty helped me a lot. I just have one Question at the moment. My Build is based on the Corsair 5000x in Black and in there are the Corsair SP120 Fans. And on the AIO there are the ML120 my Question are there markeble Differenc between them and which one should i buy for the rest 4 Fans to put in the case. Thank you
  4. Hola. Gracias
  5. Hello, I wanted to build myself a new PC but I have a few questions regarding fans, AIO fans and Commander Core. I would buy the Corsair 4000D Airflow with a H100i Elite Capellix which comes with two fans : ML120 RGB that have 8 LEDs (unlike the ML ML120 PRO RGB that have 4 LEDs). As well as 4 SP120 RGB PRO that have 8 LEDs, too (the 3 kit + 1). And this how I would setup all of this : All fans connected to Commander Core (RGB and PWM/DC cable) and the pomp. And connect to my motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E). The problem is that after searching on the internet, I don't know if I can connect the SP120 PRO RGB that are DC to the Commander Core and change fan speed and curve. (And from what I've seen all RGB cables can be connected to the Commander Core (since they all have 8 LEDs?). So I could connect the fans to the motherboard but the ASUS ROG STRIX B550-E only has 3 fan headers from what I understand. I could take 4 ML120 RGB PRO (not the same as ML120 RGB that are included with the AIO), but they only have 4 LEDs and apparently Commander Core wouldn't like this (unless there is a firmware update or something. Finally I either have all RGBs working as expected or I can correctly control all my fans. Either I found some wrong info online or you may have a solution for me. I would have like to buy ML120 RGB Elite Capellix individually (those that comes with the AIO) but you can't... I would to setup like in this image : Concept Diagram for a Typical 6 Fan setup using the iCUE Elite Capellix AIO Thanks in advance for your help
  7. Hello, I'm building my first PC at the moment. My Case is the Sharkoon TG5. I had to place the H100i RGB Platinum with the Radiator and the 2 Corsair ML120 Pro RGB-pwm-Fans in the Front. But in the Front there is space for 3x 120mm Fans so i'm currently using the 2 Corsair Fans on the top and middle space and 1 stock "meh" sharkoon cooler on the bottom. Since this fan mix looks pretty awful i thought about purchasing a single ML120 Pro RGB-pwm-Fan Kit. I don't need more Fans and purchasing a lightning pro and led hub for one single Fan is a bit expensive. :( First i thought i could simply plugin the RGB cable of the Fan in the JCORSAIR1 (3pin) or JRAINBOW1 (3 pin) of my MSI b450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, but i don't think this is possible? So then i thought about this, is there a splitter for the RGB Cable of the H100i RGB Platinum Pro? I know if that is the case both fans would have the exact same color then.
  8. Hello! A week or so ago, I purchased 3 ML120 and 3 ML140 fans. I have them connected to a lighting node pro, which in turn plugs in to the USB header on my motherboard. I also have them connected to a PWM controller manufactured by a different company. Basically, the fans worked perfectly fine when they were installed. But, upon restarting my PC, they stopped working. They were still spinning, so no problems there, but I could not get the RGB lighting to come on. The node pro does not show up in iCUE. I know iCUE works, though, because I have a K70 RGB MKII that does show up and is configurable, like normal. I was able to fix the issue (temporarily) by turning off the PC, unplugging the USB header from my motherboard (the one going to the Node Pro), starting my computer, turning it off again, plugging the USB header back in, and then turning everything on again. But, that only works until I restart the PC again. Obviously, I don't want to have to open my case every single time I restart my computer, and its kinda disappointing to have spent $250 on fans, just for this to happen... So, does anyone have any ideas on what could be happening here? Thanks for the help! ~Doombot1
  9. Hello Corsair forums community! After careful soul-searching, I've decided on the 570x as the best case for my new gaming PC build. I wanted some advice about setting my case up with some extra fans. Right now I am only interested in the ML series, for their longevity and quiet performance, but I am currently confused about which model of ML to get, at what size, and how many. To start with, the ML RGB series is only rated for 400-1,600 RPM while the ML PRO solid LED models go up to 2,000. I called Corsair customer service to confirm this, and they actually claimed that even the RGB ML series can go up to 2,000, so if anyone who owns them can confirm or deny I'd appreciate it, as I've heard both sides from authoritative sources. I'm going for a solid red look on my 570x to match my internal parts, but I might end up changing my mind/mood one day, so a part of me is wondering if I should stick with solid red and get the PRO ML model, or leave my options open and get the RGB ML. Figuring out if the RGB ML is speed-capped would help with that decision. Another issue is that I'm trying to keep costs down, so I'd prefer not buying a Commander Pro if I can help it, and though I've read Zotty and DevBiker's guides on setting up RGB, I'm still not 100% on how either RGB or Red LED ML's will play with my SP120's hooking them up to the stock hub (this is my first PC build). I wanted to keep positive pressure on my case to avoid dust, so I was wondering how many of my fan slots I should fill if I plan on keeping my SP120's until they wear out. 1x120 exhaust 2x120 top intake? 3x120 exhaust? 1x120 + 2x140 exhaust? My graphics card is reported to run fairly hot, so any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Really, probably any suggestions any of y'all have would be helpful and appreciated, I'm a novice at all this, but I'm also a quick study! And I've worked in a static-free circuit board plant, so I know how to treat parts right. Thanks for any help that can be offered, and I hope you all have a great day!
  10. I am new to the Corsair family. I built my system with Corsair 570x and installed six ML120 RGB fans. I installed Commander Pro and tried to use Corsair Link to control the fans. But it has always been the fan that connects the first header on the RGB hub that responds to the change of color. There is also this strange thing about the RGB effect. We know that each ML120 fan has four RGB light, each in one direction. But when I start the system, each fan would only have one of the four light on, with the same static color, including the one fan that responds to Link. So if I set the fan to be, for example, ranbow, then this fan would have three of the light to be rainbow, but the last light is always static, as if it was 'affected'. The following are the things I have tried: - I try swapping the fans and make sure they all function well(both spinning and RGB light) - Link can identify CoPro and the fans - I also click + on Link to let it know the fans are connected - I try using three different RGB hub and the result stays the same I am not native speaker, I apologize in advance for my poor English. Hope what I write makes sense and I would really appreciate any advice. Please feel free to leave any comment or let me know if I need to add anything for description.
  11. Hey guys, I've got my h150i on the way and im looking to install it into my new spec omega rgb, but wanted some rgb fans on it. Im looking to get a 3 pack of rgb ML120's and plan to do a push/pull setup up with all 6 fans. Im wondering if its safe to connect all 6 fans to the pump by adding some pwm splitters to the pump fan cables? Cheers.
  12. I've bought a Corsair 570X case and wasn't satisfied with the noise the stock (SP120) fans made. I read reviews which state the Corsair ML120 pro RGB fabs are dead silent at low RPM, according to the reviews the only sound they make is the wind noise, and that only happens at higher RPM's.. As I was looking for a solution to make my system completely silent, while retaining the RGB front fan looks, I decided to "upgrade" to these new Corsair fans. Unfortunately I find that even at low RPM these fans still make noise, it's not actually the wind blowing. It's the electric motor which makes a low frequency buzz noise. I'm certain it's the motor, as when I power off the fans I immediately stop hearing the noise. While the ML120 blades still rotate and move air for a few seconds, in complete silence. For comparison: The other parts of my PC are still powered, and don't make any noise: I can't hear the two fans that came with the NZXT Kraken X62. I also can't hear my exhaust fan: a Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM. I tried using PWM to throttle the ML120 fans to 20%, but I can still hear the motor. Even when the fans rotate at less than 500RPM.. I'm quite disappointed by these fans so far and I'm considering sending the entire kit back to the store. As the original SP120 case fans made about the same amount of noise when throttled and didn't cost me nearly a 100 euro.. Can someone tell me if this motor noise is fixable or if it's normal? According to most reviews the ML120 fans shouldn't make noise at all, but I did read some posts on Reddit from a couple of users complains about the motor making sound. According to others people these users must have received a faulty fan or used DC mode to control the fan. I've tried the three ML120 fans from the kit individually, and they all make the same noise. So I doubt it's fixable, unless I got a bad batch.
