Hello all,
I bought the following items and will be moving my components to the new case and upgrading the water cooler. I have a H80i currently connected to my MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard and i7-7700 4.3Ghz CPU.
I bought a iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — Black that includes 3 X SP RGB Elite Fans and an iCUE lighting Node Core.
I bought an iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler with the ML120 RGB PWM fans and the iCUE Commander Core.
I bought 3 X Noctua NF-S12B redux 1200 PWM fans (putting them on the side of the case)
and 3 X Noctua NF-P12 redux 1300 PWN fans (thinking about adding to the H150i).
I have Corsair LED strips (4 X) with a Lighting Node Pro that I plan on moving to the new case.
I also bought a 4 port internal USB hub to connect the USB connectors from all Corsair controllers on the back side of the case to keep things clean.
Here is my issue. (Note: I have not unboxed anything yet).
I am not going to use the back fan location, FYI.
The specs say that there can be 10 fans in the case, but I appears that I can add 3 fans to the top outside of the case to do a push/pull on the H150i.
Can I connect the LED fans from the case and the H150i to the commander Core and put the ML120's on the outside top of the case and the NF-P12 fans on the push (Bottom inside of H150i)?
If so, where should I be connecting all of the Noctua fans to? The 5000X Repeater Hub?
I am then assuming I can leave the Lighting node Pro with the LED strips just like they are now.(Connected to the Internal USB Hub).
Thanks for any input on this move.
Terry
