  1. (SOLVED!) I finally managed to unbrick my Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT !!! Created a new post so people can find this fast, I had problems finding this when searching for my AIO. It bricked during firmware update via iCue. RGB turned off and fans went full throttle and iCue lost contact with AIO. I'm gona give you the steps I followed and will hope that this will save someone lots of time and problems. Start with a check that you are running the lastes iCue app version, if not install the latest then continue with the steps below: 1. Download the H150_Pro_XT_V1.1.31 firmware file from: http://www.mediafire.com/file/kmslc6o3ggzfpqy/CUEVQIupN3b6a9964-aaea-44be-968a-1c88e1fa4dba_temp_H150_Pro_XT_V1.1.31.hex/file (Rename it ti something shorter like: H150_Pro_XT_V1.1.31.hex) 2. Restart Windows 10 in safe mode (Safe Mode: Shift + Restart in Windows, Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Start-up Settings > Restart > F4 = Safe Mode without network). 3. Make sure none of the Corsair processes started, open Task Manager with CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and check and End Task if they are running. 4. Go to Services (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC (Taskmanager) -> Services -> Open Services at the bottom) and STOP/DISABLE the Corsair Services. (3 of them total, you will need to enable them again after firmware is updated and you rebooted out of Safe Mode, then reboot again after that) 5. Go to Corsair installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE Software\ , on my machine) and locate the following application (DO NOT OPEN IT OR RUN IT!) XMCBOOTLOADER.EXE. 6. DRAG AND DROP the .hex file from step 1 over the XMCBOOTLOADER.EXE. The app should now connect to the bootloader, and force the firmware upgrade in a CMD window. When the flash is done the RGB will light up instantly and the fans will go to quiet mode. If you get an error during first time, do not panic! Try again, sometimes it can take up to 3-4 attempts to get it to flash all the way. 7. Reboot into normal Windows mode and enable (automatic) all 3 services for Corsair app, then reboot again and check iCue if it can connect to AIO. ALSO, when you want to upgrade the firmware via iCue (very risky), do it in safe mode! Some processes interfere with the connection between the AIO and iCue (HWInfo, Steam, Logitech control app and so on) Good luck! :-)
  2. my pc specs: asus rog stix b450f gaming mobo ryzen 7 3700x nvidia gtx 1060 3gb corsair vengace 16gb ram When i first started up the machine everything seemed to be working fine, fans spinning, rgb lighting and the pump itself was working perfectly. The pc booted up as normal and i installed icue. I ran a firmware update on the device to ensure everything was up to date, but afterwards the device was appearing as "unknown device" with all 6 of my fans flashing red, including the pump. As you can see in the picture below the pump is working just fine and I can also hear it when I turn the system on and off. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing icue, repairing the program itself, removing the core from Bluetooth settings and scanning for any hardware changes, still nothing. Also swapping usb cables from the mobo and checking everything is connected to individual SATA cables, i cant seem to find a solution. The last thing I have done is update the BIOS system and try unplugging the power from the pump. If anyone can help me out here it would be much appreciated !! Daekon.
  3. I have two AIOs and dont know which to choose. The AIO will be topmounted in a Corsair 5000D Airflow case. Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT 3, 120 mm fans (ML120, no RGB) Only pumphead RGB 9 months old Corsair iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX 2, 140 mm fans (ML140, RGB) RGB all over 1 month old My priorities are evenly split among: 33% Cooling performance 33% Noise 33% RGB Which AIO should i use and why? My setup is as follows: House: Corsair 5000D Airflow MoBo: Asus Rog Strix Z490-f gaming CPU: I9 10900K RAM: 4x8gb Corsair Dominator GPU: RTX 2060 (will be upgraded asap after the GPU shortage) PSU: Corsair RM1000i
  5. Hello there, I've now started my new system and wanted to check my plan for adding the 360mm radiator and ML fan at the front of the case was OK before I go any further. For those that don't know me I'm registered blind so doing this by feel and logic, and whereas I've built systems before the hardest part is getting to know a new product without benefit of being able to see the diagrams in instruction manuals. Given the glass front of the case, My plan was to have the mounting bracket at the front, then the 3 ML fans drawing air in and then the radiator on the inside closest to the motherboard. I was going to use the long screws provided with the H150i to hold the whole assembly together. Does this sound OK? It may sound silly as I can only see a little light but I wanted to have the fans visible through the front so the lights show up in the dark. Hoping someone can just confirm I'm on the right track before I go on. Thanks in advance.
  7. I've already contacted customer support and have an open ticket (2004094175) who have told me that I should try reinstalling iCUE, but that didn't work. So I'd read that reflashing my H150i PRO RGB firmware might help with some disconnection issues I've been having, I click the "Update firmware" button in iCUE and wait for half an hour as the "Updating" button spins on the screen. Eventually I get frustrated with waiting and hit "Abort," true to the warning message that came along with clicking the "Abort" button when I restarted and logged back into Windows my H150i PRO RGB wasn't there. Since then I've tried: Uninstalling and reinstalling iCUE (didn't work) Shutting down my PC and clearing CMOS (didn't work) Attaching my H150i PRO RGB to a different USB (didn't work) Reflashing using a firmware I found on the Corsair forums (didn't work) The firmware I found on the Corsair forums was for the H150i PRO XT, and I've got the H150i PRO RGB, which may be why the manual flash didn't take. (I get an "Unhandled exception" warning when I try to use XmcBootloader.exe with the H150_Pro_XT_V1.1.31 firmware.) Customer support has told me that they DO NOT have firmware for the H150i PRO RGB, so I was hoping that maybe somebody here in the user forums might have an old copy of their firmware lying around? Or maybe some other good suggestions on how to un-brick my cooler? I don't have a backup cooler lying around, so an RMA is kind of the last resort for me. Anyway, thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can offer!
  8. Good evening, I bought a new build and trying to get it running but I've ran into some errors, I have 6 case fans and the 3 on the radiator all the power is bluffed into the core I have 3 splitters on it. But the fans on the radiator do not spin unless I plug them into the motherboard. When I power the tower on I get the error cpu fan not detected. I plugged the 24 pin or whatever it is from the pump to the core and the 3 pin to my cpu fan header. Also no rgb is on. ( is that a software thing?) Any help is appreciated. Build info: Case: MetallicGear NEO Qube Motherboard: Asus rog Z490E LGA 1200 Cooler: iCUE H150i elite capellix Case Fans: 6- iCUE SP120 Rgb Pro Processor: Intel I9 10900 PSU: Corsair 850w GPU: Asus Rog RTX 3080 Ram: 32gb G.Skill Trident Royal Storage: 4 TB
  9. I'm running the following; i9-10900k at 4900 across all cores h150i elite capellix - top mounted exhaust 3 140mm fans on front as intake 1 140mm fan rear exhaust The computer was always running at a good temp never going above 60c but in the last few days the cpu at load will climb to 90c and the temps on the h150 quickly climb to 45c or higher where as before it never got over 38c. I've tried to change the profile on my cooler to extreme with no help. The pump and fans are all working, what could be the issue? The entire system is only 4 months old. I've never had a problem like this with corsair before so I have no idea where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  10. So im having this weird problem with the RGB on the block that it is always displaying the rainbow effect even when changing it to another. The only way im not seeing it when im using any kind of static color that isnt moving.
  11. Like in the title said, my H150i is flickering, when I turn on my PC. Sometimes only one LED is response for the whole LED-Block (When I apply an effect to the pump head or the single LED, the whole pump head is lighted like this one LED / When I apply an effect to every LED, except this one, none of them lights up). The only thing which helps me, is the "Restart iCUE Service"-Button. I have tried another USB-Port (on the motherboard and on the Commander Pro), I have tried to start iCUE manually, I have installed the Driver update for the H150i multiple times, nothing changed. Please help me.
  12. So i recently finished my build without the extra fans and without the commander pro, and there all worked well and good. Though i have since bought the commander pro and 3 QL120mm fans and installed them. Worked fine for about a day or 2. Then i installed MSI dragon center, and the second it finished downloading keyboard turned red and the following problems began RGB on pump + QL fans freeze/buffer when the "disconnect" sound occurs in windows. Also the liquid temperatures reset, and slowly climb to real value from 0. Sometimes static/wrong RPM (i hope) readings of pump and fans. This ONLY happends when iCUE is open, when terminated it goes through the cycle once and then stops doing it (but ofc with default settings & lightning) The disconnect / cycle comes in everything from 3 times per 10 seconds to once per 2 minuttes, even sometimes 1 dc, 2 "plug in" sound followed by 1 dc so very intrusive and annoying. Following fan/cooling/corsair setup im using 1 x commander pro 1 x lightning core 1 x NZXT internal USB hub (followed advice from other threads) 3 x QL 120 mm 1 x H150i pro XT 1 x k100 keyboard After i have: 1. Installed a NZXT internal usb hub and plugged the corsair commander into it. (heard x570 chipset has problems with commander pro) - (installed so that motherboard header goes in the white, then commander pro, and then RGB hub into 3rd slot) 2. Clean uninstalled MSI dragon center and iCUE (following this guide https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025166712-Perform-a-clean-reinstallation-of-the-Corsair-Utility-Engine-iCUE- ) and only reinstalled iCUE 3. Reset BIOS settings 4. Tried setting PCI to gen 3.0 5. Reset windows (keep personal files) no dc's until i installed iCUE Problems occurs as seen in this video (imgur link https://imgur.com/a/pAL0OUi ). The disconnect audio happends slightly after the RGB freeze but otherwise at the same time. Does anybody know how to fix this?? Edit 1: SATA power daisy chain is only connected to lighting core and Commander pro, and separate cable for NZXT hub from PSU, incase it's relevant.
  13. Just got the H150I Elite and upon first boot up the lighting worked on both the fans and the pump but after one restart the pump lights wont turn on at all and the fans lighting and ICUE software only works after unplugging the 24 pin connector on the commander core and re-plugging it every time I turn on and off pc.
  14. Hi hoping someone could give me some advice, Whilst screwing my radiator onto the case, I’ve accidentally stabbed one of the tiny fins, and in doing so it looks kinda bent. Is this still usable and is there a chance that I’ve pierced through any parts containing liquid? I’ve attached a pics for a closer look! Thank you!
  15. Hi all, Have edited this request to be more to the point: I'm trying to install my H150i RGB PRO XT pump on to my CPU but am finding it difficult to position it with the Corsair logo facing the correct direction. I saw some posts saying it doesn't matter which way the logo goes but I called Corsair and they said you must install with the logo facing up. As can be seen from the attached photos, the pump does just about fit with the logo the right way up but I'm holding it with some force here. When I release the pressure, the pump head naturally springs 90 degrees clockwise so that the top of the logo faces to the right. I think the side intake position is causing the issue. Is this normal and is it fine to still screw the pump onto the CPU with logo facing up and let the screws hold the tension? Do my tubes look fine or are the bends too sharp? Thank you for any help
  16. Hi all! I recently bought an iCUE 465x RGB and and H150i Elite Cappelix AIO. I have 2 questions. 1st Question: The 465x comes with an RGB hub and fan controller, but so does the H150i Elite. Is it recommended to use them together or remove the RGB hub and fan controller that came with the 465x in favor of the controller that came with the H150i Elite? 2nd Question: Is it worth it to remove the LL front standard fans from the 465x and replace them with the MLs that came with the H150i Elite, and move the LLs to the top and back? Or just install the MLs in the top and back leaving the 465x standard fans in front? Info: MB is RoG Strix z490-E Thank you all for your time.
  17. Hello guys. I've built a new PC a couple weeks ago and I've started experiencing the issue described in the title. The LEDs on the block stay lit with a faint green glow, even when the power supply is switched off, via the integrated switch and even when the power cable is disconnected (!). Any ideas why this might be happening? Thank you
  18. As the title says 7 out of the 12 LED in the outer circle does not light up. I just finished building my new computer a few hours ago and everything looked great, but after maybe one hour i noticed that 7 LEDs had stopped working. I've had other problems with corsair rbg not showing the correct color so i thought that it was just a software problem or something that i could fix myself but after trying restarting my computer uninstalling ICUE messing with the settings updating all the drivers for my motherboard and ICUE I also tried to reinstall the AIO cables as i read that some people has issues with the sata cable and the 24pin connector. I tried using different sata cable from the same PSU. I even tried using a different windows installation but that did not work either. So im not sure how to proceed after trying everything i would think could fix the problem. Any tips or help is much appreciated.
  19. Hi everyone I'm installing my H150i Pro XT and have seen that you can plug it into either the CPU_FAN header or the PUMP_FAN header. My Maximus Hero XI Mobo has both headers as shown here. What would be the difference between the two and is one more advisable than the other? I'm wondering specifically if there is a difference in how I would control the pump and fan speeds and how the BIOS recognises the hardware. Thanks
  20. Hi all I'm a bit confused as to the correct CFM of the iCUE H150i Pro XT. The official product page says max airflow 75 CFM. However it comes with 3 x ML120 fans which are also 75CFM each according to its product page . Does this mean that the overall CFM of the H150i Pro with 3 x ML120s is capped at 75CFM and therefore each fan only running at a third of their capacity?....OR is the total max airflow 3 x 75CFM = 225 CFM? I did email corsair and they said its capped at 75CFM which didn't seem to make sense to me so wanted to double check here what the deal is from those who have experience with this model. Any help much appreciated as I'm trying to work out how to balance my airflow! Thanks
  21. Hello! I have recently bought a Corsair H150i Elite RGB Capellix. I noticed there was no brackets for my motherboard included with the components. I have an AMD FX 8320 processor (AM3+) I have a Sabertooth 990fx Motherboard. (AM3, AM3+) I'm wondering what brackets would work for my motherboard to successfully mount the radiator to my cpu.
  22. Hello, I am completely new to Corsairs rgb system and all the stuff I could do with it. I bought some Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM and I really like all the effects you can do with iCUE and so I decided to buy some Fans and a water cooling AiO from Corsair so my system can be completely controlled by iCUE. As I am completely new I have no idea what I need to buy and how I need to plug everything together. I watched some videos and read some threads but I don't really get everything and can't reproduce it for my own use case. I am using a Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 Mainboard. As a water cooling AiO I'd like to use a Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT but I would like to remove the fans and use Corsair LL120 RGB Fans instead. Additionally I'd like to use 3 additional LL120 RGB Fans for my case. Now for my question: what would I need to buy and how would I plug it together so that everything works and I can controll the lightning and fan speed in iCUE? I know that for the fan speed I need a Commander Pro and that I possibly need a Lighnint Node PRO (which can be bought with 3 fans) too but do I need splitters or additional rgb hubs? Could somebody maybe paint me a plan of how I would need to plug everything together, that would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance, Jeremy
  23. Hi All, so I have two questions regarding some AIO coolers and the 780T Option 1 so my best case option is to mount a Corsair iCUE H115i RGB Pro XT 63 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler in the front of the PC with the hoses at the bottom. I currently have two 120mm fans in the base and two 140 mm fans in the front. All of these are intake fans. Now I noticed the mounting points for the front 140 fans that side inside a Fan area in the front of the case (not inside the case but in there own little cubby if that makes sense…) and the mounting points for an AIO cooler are different. Now I’ve ben informed that the hoses on the “pro” (not sure if the corsair rep is referring to this pro or just, a pro.) is 17 inches long. Now here’s what I want to do. Having looked at my case I would like to mount the cooler in the front with fans on both sides. Since the mounting holes on the 780T for radiators is indented. (there’s a dip exterior side for screws so they don’t interfere with fans.) I should still be able to have my exterior LL fans and have the interior fans in the following configuration. Pull fans - AIO radiator – push fans – exterior panel to fan cubby – LL fans in cubby So here’s my worries, if I put it in this configuration would it be beneficial or detrimental to the radiator and would the hoses / tubes be long enough to reach my CPU. (the 780T is massive) I have a Gigabyte X399 AORUS XTREME EATX sTR4 Motherboard with Corsair Vengeance RGB 32 GB (8 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 Memory, so the ram is tall. Also I have two EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB BLACK GAMING Video Card Video Card in NV link so the tubes will have to make an S bend. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My second option would be easier but less preferable I have 3 120MM LL fans in the top in an outward configuration and I do have a Blue-ray drive in the front of the PC. I could try mounting a 360 AIO radiator in the top with two fans pushing air in to the radiator and 3 pulling air out. Is that a viable option? I will admit I’m not to keep on this option as I have an open shroud GPUs that would be pushing hot air upwards.
  24. Hello, I live in Germany and today I noticed that I can now add the new Elite Capellix AIO to my cart. So I added it and went to check out, logged in through amazon pay but then the button, I believe to be the last one before my order is placed, is greyed out and I can't click it. If it says available in a week does that mean I can order it in a week? Or should I be able to order now and it'll be processed in a week. That's what I expected atleast. Sorry if I chose the wrong forum, I just registered for this question.
