  1. I have absolutely no idea what is going on but starting around a month ago my H150i Elite started randomly disconnecting and reconnecting. Sometimes extremely frequently and sometimes only once or twice in a day. The unit completely disappears from iCUE during this process. I honestly wouldn't really notice it if it weren't for the Windows USB disconnect and reconnect audio playing every single time. This is quite annoying. Furthermore this seems to not happen if I completely close iCUE entirely. My motherboard is on the latest BIOS, drivers are up to date and no hardware changes were made anywhere near the time that this issue started happening. I have iCUE error logging enabled but I'm unaware of where that file would be located. Any help or suggestions? CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Mobo: Asus ROG Strix x570-F Gaming Any other information needed I'm happy to provide.
  2. So, I built my first PC today. It booted up fine, but gave me two errors- one that my CPU was above temperature and another that there was a CPU fan error. I’m using the h150i elite capellix to cool an i9-12900ks. I have the tach cable plugged into the AIO spot and the other cable plugged into the icue commander that came with it. I also have the fans attached to that commander which turn on when I start my system. So, I don't believe there are issues with the commander or it’s connection to the motherboard. My pump also doesn’t show up in the bios, there is no pump speed displayed only an N/A. Could my pump/tach cable be faulty or is there something else that would cause this problem? I’m fairly certain the heat block is installed on the processor correctly with an appropriate amount of thermal paste, but I’m more than willing to redo it if that could be the issue causing this, but I don’t really think it is. I am planning to go out and buy a standard heat sink to see if that’s able to cool down my CPU and maybe isolate if it’s the h150i that’s the problem. Thank you for your help :)
  3. Hi, I purchased a corsair AIO a while back, specifically h150i elite capellix, and I hooked it up and it's been working just fine. Recently, I purchased three ML120 pro rgb fans, and I connected them to the same commander core that is included with h150i elite capellix. The issue is that all three of the new fans work just fine and I can customize the fan curve and everything in icue software, except when I run the wizard in the lighting setup tab, only two of them get detected and I can't control the rgb on the third fan. I mean it doesn't even light up. I've rearranged the ports to make sure the commander core is not faulty, and it's not. Even I tried setting it up manually but no luck. At this point, I highly suspect the rgb on the third fan is broken but still I wanted to ask to see if that's a glitch in icue software or if there is an easy fix. Thank you so much
  4. Hi - I'm putting together a new build and had a couple of questions about the wiring setup for the fans and AIO cooler. I built my current rig back in 2013 and didn't have any RGB or AIO cooler so this is all new to me. For reference: Motherboard: ASUS TUF Z690-Plus WIFI D4 Fan Headers: 1x CPU, 1x CPU OPT, 1x AIO Pump, 4x Chassis 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C Connector 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Header 2x USB 2.0 Headers Cooler: Corsair H150i Elite Capellix (1 CoCo included) Fans: 6x Corsair QL120mm Fans (2 LNCores included) Case: Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic Power Supply: Corsair HX Platinum 1200W I plan on using the ML fans that come with the AIO on the cooler and as the exhaust up top, 3 fans on the side for intake and 3 fans on the bottom for intake. I saw a diagram of a potential setup (below) and had a couple of questions. Does the CoCo connect to the CoPro via the internal USB header or LED (I've seen both be mentioned in other posts)? If the CoCo is connected to the CoPro via USB header, how is the CoCo connected to the motherboard's PUMP fan header? If the CoCo is connected into the CoPro, is the AIO still visible in iCUE or is it all recognized as one entity and any changes affect all 9 fans? Is this an ideal setup for wiring? I do not currently own a CoPro so I'm open to other methods before I actually start the build. Given the header limitations detailed above, is there anything I should be considering for the setup? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hey! I recently upgraded to the 220t RGB case that includes 3x SP120 RGB Pro fans, as well as a H150i Elite Capellix cooler that includes 3x ML120 RGB fans. All 6 of the fans are installed into the Commander Core and everything is detected by iCUE. I have access to all the lighting features and they function as intended. However, on the cooling side of things, the 3x SP120 RGB Pro fans run at a constant ~1300 RPM and there's no way to turn them down. I HAVE tried creating my own cooling curves in iCUE and they only affect the 3x ML120 fans. The SP120 fans remain at ~1300 RPM. I have also set everything to Zero RPM and, again, only the ML120 fans will change to 0 RPM. The SP120 fans remain at ~1300 RPM.
  6. Hallo. Gibt es ein Plan wo man die verkabelung in der H150i Elite Capelix sieht. Ich hoffe das es so einen gibt . LG Niko
  7. Hello, first time post and first time building a PC. I am building with the following parts, and it'll be clear shortly why I only have 1 USB 2.0 header: - Asus Prime x570-Pro - EVGA 3080ti FTW3 - Ryzen 7 5800 - 1000 W EVGA G5 PSU - WD NVMe - RP-Link AX3000E Wifi 6 / Bluetooth card (*needs 1 of the 2 USB 2.0 headers for bluetooth) - Lian Li Dynamic 011 Dynamic Now onto the Corsair components I want to install: - H150i Capellix AIO (not using the included ML120 fans) - 9x QL120 fans I have the following Corsair hubs: - Commander Core (comes with H150i) - Commander Pro (bought separately) - 3x Lighting Node Core (comes with each 3-pack of QL120) So, the question is: how can I control all of these fans RGB and PWM using iCue with only 1 USB 2.0 header available? I have seen a graphic (below) where the Commander Core is plugged into the Commander Pro, but have read that if it is configured this way, then the Commander Core does not appear in iCue properly). I was then thinking I would need to plug both the Commander Pro and Commander Core into my mobo USB headers but I need one of those headers for the wireless card. I would appreciate any guidance on the best way to configure this, and whether or not I need any PWM splitters (and if I do, what I should know about using them so that I do not have any issues with the hubs, etc). Thank you in advance!
  8. Hello Everyone, I am new to the forum. I am also new to PC building in general and have learned quickly I have chosen the worst time in history to build a PC due to everything going up in price and parts being hard to find. I have been doing a lot of research and have looked at a lot of the setups posted on this forum however I haven’t found quite what I’m thinking about doing. The components I plan on running are as follows: CASE: Corsair 5000D Airflow (Black) MOTHERBOARD: ASUS AMD AM4 ROG Strix X-570E CPU: Ryzen 5600x GPU: ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 (Black) MEMORY: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4 3600 HARD DRIVE: Corsair Force MP600 M.2 2280 1TB (2X) POWER SUPPLY: Corsair RM850x Full Modular (80 GOLD PLUS) CPU COOLER: Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix CPU Cooler (Black) CASE FANS: Corsair iCUE QL120 RGB Fans (Black) (10 Fans) (3 Packs of 3 + 1) I plan on setting up 3X – QL120 fans in front and 3X – QL120 on the side as INTAKE. I plan to remove and hopefully re-sell the 3X – ML120 fans that come included with Corsair H150i CPU cooler. I will then install 3X – QL120 fans on the H150i CPU cooler and attach it to the top of the case as EXHAUST. I will than install the final 1X – QL120 fan to the rear of the case as EXHAUST. This will give me 6X – intake and 4X – exhaust. My question is about wiring all this up. My plan is to remove the included Carbide 6-port PWM repeater. I then want to use the Commander Core included with the H150i CPU Cooler. This will run the 4X – exhaust fans and the pump. I then want to purchase a second Commander Core and run all 6X – intake fans. I think this will be the cleanest set up. 1. But will it work? 2. Can I run two Commander Core’s together without any other lighting cores or Commander Pros? 3. Can you even buy Commander Core’s separately? I see they are on Corsair’s website, but I’ve never seen them in stock. Is there a timeline on when these will be available? 4. Is there any other business that sell the Commander Core’s separately? I would have made one of those awesome diagrams I see all over, but I didn’t know how. Thank you for any and all input on topic.
  9. Hi all, I have just finished my new build and decided to go with an h150i elite cappelix and 6 SP120 RGB Elite fans. The current set up uses the included RGB hub with a triple pack of fans, this is connected to the usb socket of a commander pro where the power for the 6 SP120 fans is also plugged in. The h150i is connected to the commander core that it came with, that is working fine with full fan speed control and RGB control. After following the steps on the FAQ page, I'm still unable to control any of the RGB on any of the SP120 fans. It's stuck on permanent rainbow mode. I am also only able to control the speed of three of the fans, once I installed the iCue software the other three fans stopped spinning and I'm not able to get them back on. If anyone has any troubleshooting tips or advice I'd love to hear it. Thanks
  12. Hello Guys I'm New to this Forum and my english is not the best but i hope you can help me. I'm going to buy a new PC and at the moment i collect my komponents. One Thread about the H150i Elite Capellix from Zotty helped me a lot. I just have one Question at the moment. My Build is based on the Corsair 5000x in Black and in there are the Corsair SP120 Fans. And on the AIO there are the ML120 my Question are there markeble Differenc between them and which one should i buy for the rest 4 Fans to put in the case. Thank you
  13. Hello everyone, I just recently built an AMD rig with an MSI B550 board, 4000x, H150i elite capplix 280mm, and 3 SP120 RGB Elite fans. The H150i came with the commander core. Right now for my MSI board I don’t see a way to disable fan control in the motherboard. All the fans in my case are PWM which are hooked up through the commander core. The MSI bios has my fans set to auto for power control, and I was wondering if I should change that to PWM or leave it at auto?
  14. Hello all, I bought the following items and will be moving my components to the new case and upgrading the water cooler. I have a H80i currently connected to my MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard and i7-7700 4.3Ghz CPU. I bought a iCUE 5000X RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Smart Case — Black that includes 3 X SP RGB Elite Fans and an iCUE lighting Node Core. I bought an iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler with the ML120 RGB PWM fans and the iCUE Commander Core. I bought 3 X Noctua NF-S12B redux 1200 PWM fans (putting them on the side of the case) and 3 X Noctua NF-P12 redux 1300 PWN fans (thinking about adding to the H150i). I have Corsair LED strips (4 X) with a Lighting Node Pro that I plan on moving to the new case. I also bought a 4 port internal USB hub to connect the USB connectors from all Corsair controllers on the back side of the case to keep things clean. Here is my issue. (Note: I have not unboxed anything yet). I am not going to use the back fan location, FYI. The specs say that there can be 10 fans in the case, but I appears that I can add 3 fans to the top outside of the case to do a push/pull on the H150i. Can I connect the LED fans from the case and the H150i to the commander Core and put the ML120's on the outside top of the case and the NF-P12 fans on the push (Bottom inside of H150i)? If so, where should I be connecting all of the Noctua fans to? The 5000X Repeater Hub? I am then assuming I can leave the Lighting node Pro with the LED strips just like they are now.(Connected to the Internal USB Hub). Thanks for any input on this move. Terry
  16. I have 15 fans total. My setup is a Commander Pro, (2) Lighting Nodes and a Commander Core for my H150i Elite. My questions is how do I connect my QL series fan RGBs to these devices and maintain and maintain a correct order for fan animations? I am still in the middle of the build and waiting on the last 4 fans to arrive but I am curious how they will maintain an order since both Lighting Nodes will be connected via USB to the Commander Pro and the Commander Pro connected USB to the first USB 2.0 header on my motherboard and the Commander Core connected to the second. I would assume that iCUE would let me identify fans but having not been able to use it yet I am not sure that is the case or if they have to be plugged into the Lighting Nodes in a certain order and if so with me using two which will come first? Also throw in the Commander Core and that adds an additional layer of confusion. Any of you guys with experience in this area able to help a brother out?
  17. I'm running the following; i9-10900k at 4900 across all cores h150i elite capellix - top mounted exhaust 3 140mm fans on front as intake 1 140mm fan rear exhaust The computer was always running at a good temp never going above 60c but in the last few days the cpu at load will climb to 90c and the temps on the h150 quickly climb to 45c or higher where as before it never got over 38c. I've tried to change the profile on my cooler to extreme with no help. The pump and fans are all working, what could be the issue? The entire system is only 4 months old. I've never had a problem like this with corsair before so I have no idea where to start. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  18. Hi there, I'm about to do a new PC build as my Intel 2700k rig is 9 years old as of 2 days ago! I've been lurking these forums and the wider internet for most of the year trying to get my head around RGB/ARGB as I've had no experience with this. From what I can tell, the LED channels from the Commander Pro and Lighting Node Pro are the 3 pin 5v ARGB. Other things such as the Lighting Node Core, RGB Fan Hub, Commander Core output 4pin 12v RGB. Is this correct? I've also had a look at the awesome guide that Zotty has put together and looked at a few diagrams. From what I can tell, the below is what I will need to setup some bling in a O11 Dynamic XL (White) connecting to an Asus X570-E motherboard. I've written this diagram with the assumption that I will setup 6 fans as a push/pull on the 360 rad, I haven't fully decided I want to do this yet however want this to remain an option. I'm hoping some of you experts can peer review this to ensure my thinking is correct. If so I hope this diagram assists others looking to setup way too many fans in their O11 Dynamic XL. Diagram below, sorry it's a bit hectic!
