  1. Hello, I am using corsair sp120 rgb pro fans on my rig. As you can see in the screenshot, fan speed should be at 300 rpm, but it always stays at around 800. Any way I can fix this issue? Everything is updated. I am not using any splitter. Fans are connected directly to commander pro. icue version 4.29.203.
  2. hello. I'm planning on using the 5000D airflow for my build. however, I'm not sure how the fan hub on the back of the case works. I'm using an msi pro b660 board. it has 2 fan headers. one normal header and 1 "exhaust" header. where does the hub plug into on the mobo? I'm going to buy 2, 3 packs of the LL 120mm fans. i know the hub maxes out at 6 fans? so can i plug all six of those into the fan hub and plug my exhaust fan into the exhaust header? where do the rgb pins go? i don't understand how any of this works. please help. thank you, a ton,
  3. Hello I purchased this case and it came with two fans. The back fan works just fine but the front fan won't spin. I believe the front fan is broken and I need a replacement if someone from corsair can help me with that? Here's what I have tried to debug the issue and why I think its a matter of the fan being defective: I have plugged the back fan into all fan ports on my motherboard and it works, so I dont think its a motherboard issue. I have tried completely unplugging the back fan and only plugging in the front fan and it still doesnt work I have tried plugging in both fans and looking at the fans section of the motherboard software app thing and it lists an RPM speed for both ports that the fans are plugged into but the front fan still doesnt spin Thanks
  4. Hello Friends, I have just purchased a 5000d Airflow cabinet and have populated it as under: Corsair HX 620 psu, Gigabyte AORUS X570 MASTER Motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600X cpu Corsair Vengeance LPX3200 4x8GB RAMs Gigabyte GEFORCE RTX 2060 Super gpu 7x Corsair Fans (two came with the cabinet) I am not a newbee really. Built my first Pentium Celeron system back in 1995 and then many other conventional systems for myself and friends. However, this is the first time that I am encountering the " PWM Repeater ". I am confused. There are two connectors hanging from it - a PWM cable and a sata (I assume so) connector. Do I have to connect both? If so, where on the motherboard? The fans I understand will be connected to the 6 headers on the repeater. The back exhaust I will connect to SysFan 1 header on the motherboard. Please advice ASAP. Regards 🙏
  5. I am running the following hardware; iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT Smart RGB Lighting and Fan Speed Controller 10 x 120mm Corsair iCUE ML RGB ELITE Premium 1 x 60mm Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM Asus ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Corsair STRAFE RGB MK.2 Keyboard I have the fans setup like this. The Commander Core XT is plugged into the motherboard Th H150i is plugged into the passthrough of the Commander Core XT Fans 1-6 are on the Commander CORE Controller that came with the Capellix Fan 7-10 are on the COMMANDER CORE XT The Lian Li cases RGB is plugged into the RGB header on the motherboard Both the motherboard and Lian Li case are being controlled by iQUE How can I change the order of the Fans so they look proper in the case? Right now I'm just running Rainbow wave which looks ok but if I switch to something like Visor the sequence of the fans are all out of whack. I have posted a pic of where each fan is. Basically what I am trying to do is have the fans go in this order. 1, 2 & 5, CPU Cooler, 3 & 6, RAM, 4 & 7, 8 & 9 & 10, Front RGB on case itself, Key board Or atleast get the corsair fans going the right way even if I can't reorder the motherboard and case rgbs. Here's a video of what happens when I turn visor on. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  6. Summer is coming - which means your PC will be recording higher temps for the duration of the season 😬. What adjustments are you making to keep your PC cooler to survive the summer heat? - Buying a better cooler? - Restricting the amount of time playing or using your rig ⏰? - Blowing an external fan towards your PC 💨? - AC on all day ? Or just leaving it and praying that it does not overheat 🤨 Lets hear your solutions!
  7. Hello, i'm a little bit stuck with the fans, my question is can someone help me with create a diagram for it? I have 10 fans in total 3 in the front, 3 on the side, 3 above (for the radiator to my cooler) and 1 on the back, and as cpu cooler i have the corsair ICUE h150i elite hero. But as it is possible i want to put some led strips in my case
  8. Does anyone know if the 2 fans included in the corsair 4000d airflow are RGB? on the website it just says "corsair 120mm airguide fans" but nothing about whether or not they're RGB
  9. Hi, I have been using Corsair Link for a while to control the curve and speed of my Corsair H115i, and ICUE to control the headphones. After the last update of the ICUE software, Corsair Link has stopped controlling the pump and fans to let ICUE control it. As many of you know, it has been happening for years that if you use ICUE to control fans and pumps, after a while the RPMs get stuck and you need to restart ICUE and close Corsair.service 32 to get it working again. ********ing crap. I have reverted the last update, installed and uninstalled the two programs in different order, but ICUE still takes priority over H115i control. Does anyone know of a way to force Link to take control of the fans/pump? I don't want to be restarting Corsair service 32 and ICUE every 5 minutes to avoid the fans getting stuck and overheating and screwing up my pc. By the way, I don't understand how after so much time Corsair haven't pronounced on this issue and have solved the corsair.service32 problem. Thank you very much in advance, cheers
  10. So since im kinda dumb on this i just turned on my first pc, prebuilt corsair, (VENGEANCE i7300 Gaming PC, i5-12600K, RTX 3070, 1TB M.2, 16GB DDR4-3200) and im not too sure if these fans turn on under load but the front three fans just arent turning on. The worst part about it that made me worry is the fact my ram is running 44c which im pretty sure is bad... thanks for the help and dumb it down for me 😄 the rgb works on the fans aswell if that helps...
  11. Hey guys.. When I checked my unit BIOS settings I noticed that there was 2 fans 1 for the CPU and it was set to PWM The other was for the system and was set to DC Also when I click optimize default, it chooses these types for each fan Should I manually change them to match types or these types are correct? I'm asking because I'm having issues with my fans not spinning at all whatever the work I do Thank you
  12. Anyways, my old case and setup just had 6 rgb fans, which worked out nice for the Commander Pro (plus lighting node). But now I've got 9, possibly adding a 10th (all QL120 rgb fans). I've also got a pump but don't usually control it through iCUE, as it has its own software suite for advanced metrics and whatnot, but I'm curious if anyone actually plugs their D5 pump into it? Also, I don't need more than 4 temp probes. I don't intend to have any LED strips.. at least, I don't think. My GPU block and CPU block both have RGB, but it's EK so I can't plug those into the Commander, right ??? When I bought the Pro, the Core and Core XT did not exist, as far as I'm aware. But either way, here we are: is one Commander Pro enough to run all of this? If yes, how do you connect 9 or 10 fans to the 6 fan ports on the Pro? If no, which extra device is the best choice for my needs, pairing it with the Pro I already have? Finally, are there any Corsair products that come bundled with the Core or Core XT?
  13. Hi everyone, I´m having issues with a Corsair RM1000i, every time I´m using apps I get random high speeds in all fans they get very loud, when PC is in idle it doesn´t. The thing is that this is not hapenning with an old OCZ stealthstream 600W, I have tried with 2 PCs, I thought this happened due to my old PC , but I bought everything new except the power supply, it just happens with the corsair. I have seen in the task manager that every time this happens it says that consumption from CPU , SSD and GPU is very high.
  14. Hi, I’m planning to build a PC in the 4000D Airflow chassis with the following components. Intel Core i7-12700K and Asus ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB (2x16GB) GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4GB Phoenix OC SSD: Samsung 980 Pro series 1TB M.2 (MZ-V8P1T0) HDD: Seagate Ironwolf 4TB PSU: Corsair RM750X V2 AIO: Corsair iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX top mounted FANS: 3 x Corsair ML120 PRO in the front + the included 120mm chassis fan in the back Will this FAN/AIO setup work or is there a better configuration using Corsair components?
  15. I bought the 4000X RGB and installed everything, seems to work fine for the most part. The three fans on the front panel light up fine with RGB, but only the top fan is spinning. All the cables were labeled, so I plugged the one fan into the MOBO fan channel, which I guess I assumed was daisy-chained with the others like modular power, so that one being powered would power all three, but no, only the top fan spins. Which is weird, because all three are lit up fine. Are there two additional fan power cables that I'm missing somewhere? I'd prefer not to take it apart again but I can if needbe, but I didn't see a single other plug that was ready to plug in, unless it's hiding somewhere. MOBO is the B560-A by Asus ROG, if that matters. Thanks.
  16. Hi all, Having a problem with 2x new fans! I've plugged them into the motherboard fan headers (tested and working with other fans) and made sure the BIOS is set to PMW, they are refusing to spin. I've got the RGB working through the RGB hub that came with the case (Corsair 5000x I believe it is) My motherboard is a ASUS STRIX B450-F. I've currently got them plugged into a splitter with an older PMW Corsair fan, and that one is working fine. When plugged in separately/on their own, they still do not work. I'm curious to know whether im going to be pushed to buy the Commander Pro, as I've tried everything I know and just cannot get it to work. Hopefully someone has some answers!
  17. Good Afternoon All 🙂 I got a new corsair 5000x RGB case for Christmas along with: A new H150i Capelliex in white, and; 1x LL 120 white for rear exhaust I currently have the 3 front fans that came with the 5000x case (3x sp 120) and the 3 ML 120 fans from the Capellix in the Commander Core and I have the 1 LL120 fan in the preinstalled commander core that is split into two parts. ICUE is detecting all parts with the 6 fans in the commander core with the H150i and the 1LL fan in the other commander however I cannot control any of the fans in the commander with the H150i this includes fan speeds and RGB where as I can control the RGB of the single LL plugged into the other commander. All fans are illuminated when ICUE is not loading and they all run in their basic rainbow patterner accept. Once I load up ICUE all front 3 fans and the 3 fans on the H150i and the H150i pump RGB turn off and do not turn back onto no what ever what profile I'm in and what lighting present I have enabled, further more I cannot control the fan speeds when user customer or default presents with fans running as low as 280 RPM. which is rising idle CPU temperatures. I have changed which usb 4-pin they are both connected to at the bottom of the motherboard however no difference was made, i have reset the bios and the bios is only picking up the 'cpu fan' and the rear mounted LL120 fan or 'external fan' I believe it was called. I do not know what other programs are affecting it as i cannot access armoury crate for example. Therefore i am looking for asstiance of how to be able to control the fans, their speed and colour combinations as intended by ICUE 4 as i currently have no control.
  18. Hey Everyone, I recently bought a 5000D airflow case. I have 6 intake fans and 4 exhaust fans (3 top 1 rear). My question is does having the top exhaust fan right next to the intake fans hurt the airflow. My thinking was the top two intake fans would bring air in and right out the top frontmost exhaust fan. I'm not sure if anyone has tested this or not but if anyone could let me know it would be really appreciated. Thanks
  19. with the icue software, i connected the cooler fans to the pump but was getting a reading of 0 RPMS all the time, and never heard my fans spinning up during max load such as VR or anything, so i purchased the Commander core XT and plugged those radiator fans into that hub. was just wondering if it still will and works as intened or do the need to be connected to the cooler? i also have 3 other fans connected to the commander core xt, which was the original reason for buying. thanks. CPU: I9 10850k GPU: RTX 2070 super MOB: Asus Tuff gaming Z490-Plus Wifi
  20. Hi guys, i've recently changed the stock fans of my h115i pro, with two Silent Wings 3 140mm PW (because i've moved the radiator in a new position and i needed a more "slim" fan) and after that, the icue 3.7 (and 4.x too) pimp the fan speed at 100% in all the profiles, if i set the personal instead, with rpm the fan spin at 450 with no control whatsoever (changing the cursor for the rpm). The pump is connected as manual says with the cpu fan over the motherboard. How can i solve this situation for having mor control of my fans? the temps are ok but i would have the fans to change velocity the the temps Many thanks!
  21. I have had my cooler for about 3 years now and recently I noticed my game stuttering and running slowly. Then I went into ICUE and found that my CPU was 90*C and throttling heavily. In the ICUE software no matter what I set the pre-sets and settings to on the cooler the fan speed never goes above 600-700RPM whilst the pump operates at max speed. I have tried setting the fans to a constant RPM of max RPM and still nothing changes. This happened recently after I used a software called signal RGB, I am still able to change the RGB settings of the fans and RPM of the pump just not the fan speed. I uninstalled Signal RGB thoroughly and restarted the ICUE software and still nothing. Any help is appreciated and I can probably respond after 5PM in the UK,
  22. Hello there, After installing my new ICUE H100i Elite Capellix I noticed only the LED on the pump was lighting up. I thought that it was weird that the fans didn't light up but I went to the ICUE application hoping it was a setting I needed to adjust. After learning how to use the ICUE application, I did the "Lighting Wizard 4-Pin Setup" and to my surprise no fans were detected. Luckily I had another fan handy and tried to use it through the controller that came in the box with the H100i, and it worked! The fan was detected and I was able to use all the controls including the LED controls. So that leads me to believe that something is wrong with the LED's on the fan it came with. So to recap here is everything I tried: 1) Using a different fan 2) Uninstalling IQUE and reinstalling 3) Using an older version of ICUE 4) Plugging only one fan in at a time 5) Using a previous version of windows 6) Disabling ANYTHING that could be effecting/monitoring the fans 7) Switching around the order of which the fans are plugged into the controller To my knowledge I installed everything correctly considering the fact that I used the video on how to install it from Corsair's website. It's super frustrating and sad that I've had nothing but problems when it comes to Corsair's LEDs. I had a three pack of Corsair fans a few years ago and it was the worst thing ever. My PC is almost ready for a full rebuild and I was going to go full Corsair but if I can't get these LED lights to work I might as well but from elsewhere. There are a ton of good products out that the LED's actually work on them. The worst part about the whole thing is that I've been trying to fix it for hours now and I feel as if I've done everything humanly possible and it still fails to work properly. If anyone has a solution to this or has a faced a similar problem please help me! Also, something I forgot to mention... When in BIOS no fans that are plugged into the controller are detected. Just the pump shows up under BIOS but in the ICUE software I can see all fans that are plugged in. Could it be a problem with USB that's plugged into the motherboard from the controller itself? So confused and lost here, Ill add some pictures if that helps, thanks for reading if you made it this far!
  23. Hi, I have 3 SP120 RGB PRO fans connected to a Lightning Node Core from where I can find the profile "Rainbow Channel" which I like it. The thing is: I have six more fans, 3 ML RGB from my H150i Elite Capellix and 3 SP RGB ELITE from my 5000x RGB case. The 6 fans are connected to the iCUE Commander CORE that came with the H150i. I'm unable to set the same RGB lightning effect on the 9 fans, the Rainbow channel effect is only available in the 3 SP120 RGB PRO. Is there a way to make the effect available to all the fans? I'm able to setup lightning link over the 9 fans but the effect is not available there. Any help would be really appreciated also any recommendation about the changing of how these fans were connected. Thank you!
  24. Hi, is it possible to show my fans in the Dashboard view, and if so how? If not, anyone knows why? Thanks.
  25. when i put the fan speed on the lowest my fans dont slow down video i have the magnetic spinning ones.
