  1. Hello you wonderful forum members! I know this has been discussed numerous times probably, but I can never find exactly the same scenario as my own. After tons of years, I finally decided to move from my beloved i5-3570K. It served me really well in every single task I needed it to do for me, but time has come to move on and upgrade. So, I just purchased AMD Ryzen 5 1600, and ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F motherboard. I have everything else I need (my H80i v2 with AM4 bracket among other components), and the only item that's left for me to buy... DDR4. Could some nice soul recommend what would work without any hick-ups with my CPU/MB configuration ? I just want to stress out, I am not looking into any kind of overclocking or anything like that. Even with factory speeds, this new machine will be quite faster than my old one... and believe me, there was nothing I wasn't able to do with it (3D modeling, animations, motion graphics, even some heavy gaming from time to time). I just need it to work stable without crashing or causing any kind of system/OS failure. Oh yes, I am looking to get DDR4 16Gb, possibly two RAM modules. I am quite aware that memory prices are raging at the moment, but I found couple of items on sale. These are 2666, 3000 and 3200 units currently on sale here in Canada: http://www.canadacomputers.com/index.php?cPath=24_311&sf=%3A1%2C2%2C3%2C4_20%2C4_22%2C4_23%2C5%2C6&rebate=1 Anything in there worth spending money on, or should I wait until prices calm down a bit (who knows when though)? Thank you in advance for your assistance! EDIT: they updated that sale page since I posted last night, and added some new listings. These caught my eye, any info if they would work would be appreciated: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_1326&item_id=098797 http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_1326&item_id=090226 http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_1326&item_id=103816 http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_311_1326&item_id=105004
  2. Hi guys, I have an H45 WC that I bought a long time ago, before AM4 release. Does anyone know where I can find all measurements for the AM4 mounting bracket or if you can and send to me? In Brazil I found to buy but is overpriced so I will fabricate. Can anyone help me? Thanks. Water Cooler Corsair Hydro Series H45, CW 9060028 WW
  3. Hey there everyone :) I have a short question about mounting the H100i RGB Platinum to an AM4 socket: Do the screws need to have the same outward bend / bow out? The screws on mine weren't exactly bend out the same so I tried to fix it but they still look like the outward bend is slightly different. I attached some pictures but they're not the best quality. I hope you can still kinda see what I mean. I've seen a YouTube video where the bend is almost perfectly the same. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Or it doesn't even matter? Thanks in advance :)
  4. Hello guys, i am new i the forum, so greetings! I would like to ask the original Corsair Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) is compatible with the new AM4 socket? Soon planning to upgrade from my LGA 1155 and having this cooling system for 5 years now, but it's perfoming great inside the 650D case! Thanks!
  5. Hey all, I'm planning to upgrade my current 2500k system with a r7 1700 build. Since I still have a H70 cooler around, I hope it can be still used on the AM4 platform with the "AM4-AMD Retention Bracket Kit for Hydro Series Coolers (CW-8960046)". But as the H70 is not listed under compatible coolers, I'm wondering whether this kit can be used. Any estimations whether it should workd nevertheless? Thanks! Best, CoolingWater
  6. Edit: Oops, I meant Processing, not shipping. Hello everyone, sorry for posting this here but Corsair Support is largely ignoring me and I can't call them because it's the weekend. Anyway, I ordered an AM4 bracket for my H80i v2 cooler about five days ago, and it's still processing. Is it ever going to ship? Because I'm starting to think it won't. :(: Can anyone here help me or give some advice on what to do?
  7. I want to get some Corsair Vengeance LED RAM for a Ryzen build but from what I have seen is Ryzen will only support up to DDR4 2400? and Corsair doesn't make there Vengeance LED memory down to that speed, so would I be able to run 4x8GB @ DDR4 3000 in a Ryzen build and the RAM will just run at 2400?
  10. PSA for all those who have ordered the AM4 bracket and received an email that says: "Your order # xxxxxxxxx is on hold, pending further review. "To help us process your order as soon as possible please speak with a webstore representative at 1-888-222-4346 ext. 704, Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Residents outside of the United States can call this number free of charge via Skype." that is only because it is a preorder item on backorder. YOU DO NOT NEED TO CALL and wait on hold as I did this morning. the item will ship when available. there is no request for proof of purchase for MOBO, CPU or cooler as is required by other cooler manufactures. Thank you Corsair.
