  1. Hi All, I'm about to build my own gaming rig, using the following pars: CPU: i9-12900KF GPU: 7900 XTX AIO: iCUE H150i Elite Capellix CASE: iCUE 5000X RGB I have several questions related to AIO, Case and CPU installation, I hope you can assist with. 1. Air Flow Since the case has x3 front-fans, i'm planning to install the AIO on the top (not to the side). 1.a Should I put the fans on top of the radiator, connected to the case, or below the radiator, connected to it? 1.b Based on the answer above, should the air flow of the AIO be inside out or vice versa? 1.c Based on the configutation above, what should be the Case fans air flow direction? 1.d Do I need additional single rear fan? if so, which size? type? 2. Thermal Paste I've heard some rumores about thermal issues with the Intel's LGA 1700 socket, so I bought a Thermalright Buckle from Alliexpress, just in case. 2.a Do I think I need this buckle (I'm not going to overcloack the CPU)? 2.b Should I use the AIO's pre-applied Thermal Paste or clean it up and put Noctua thermal paste on top of the CPU (X layout)? Much Thanks!
  2. My LCD screen on my elite H150I isnt being detected by icue and is only showing a triangle and "!" on the screen, i did updates and uninstalled icue but still the same. i unplugged and plugged all the connections and still nothing. if any has any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated
  3. Hi everyone, This is my first post here and I'm looking for some help. Hopefully I can be as descriptive as possible! I've just set up a new configuration today using my H150i RGB pro XT AIO. It was originally mounted with 3 LL120s in the front of my Corsair 570x case with a push configuration only. Today I decided since I had the leftover ML120s to put them to use and mount them on the inside of my radiator/case to make a push/pull set up. However, as soon as I turned on the system, the three ML 120 Fans just spun at maximum speed (2400 RPM) incredibly loud. The 3 LL120s I have mounted on the front of the cooler were fine. I went into icue and the ML120s didn't show up. The 3 LLs in the front showed up. My bios also didn't show anything regarding the MLs but it showed the LLs as well. Is there any way to control and lower the speed of my ML120s so they are not spinning at max rpm 24/7? HW Monitor for some reason shows only 2/3 MLs I installed today, spinning at 2400-2500 RPM. (screenshot below, link #4) My MB (Asus Prime z390-a) has 6 fan headers. The ML120s I put in today are in the CPU_OPT, AIO_PUMP and W_PUMP+ headers. I have 3 more LL120s (total of 6) mounted on the top and rear of my case as well. The rear and top LL120s are in the CHA_FAN1, CHA_FAN2, M.2_FAN headers. Finally, the 3 LL120s on my AIO are plugged into the Fan splitter that came with the cooler. Any idea what could be wrong here? I apologize if the solution is obvious or if I sound ignorant/unclear, I've tried to troubleshoot to the best of my ability!! I have a feeling it has something to do with my fan pin header selection. If you need clarification, I will definitely try to do so Here are some screenshots of my set up if you are interested (if you hate RGB I apologize in advance): You can see the MLs on the inside, LLs on the outside https://ibb.co/FYMDq1G https://ibb.co/y48Gf0J https://ibb.co/3N9zh3Y https://ibb.co/pXQqDVH Any and all advice is always appreciated!
  4. Hello all! Im new here and just wanted to ask for some advice, im building a new computer and im trying to keep it all Corsair (or as much as i can) So heres what i got for the build so far: Lian Li O11dx case Msi mpg x570 gaming pro carbon Ryzen 9 3900x Corsair vengeance pro rgb 32gb (2x16gb) 3600mhz Corsair h150i elite capellix cpu cooler (360mm) Samsung 980 pro 1tb ssd Seagate barracuda 4tb hd Thermaltake toughpower grand rgb 850w Corsair ql120 rgb fans (3-3 packs) Corsair lighting node pro (led strips) Corsair commander pro Xpg argb extension cables (24pin and 8pin) I want to know how to get all the corsair products to run on icue and not have any issues at all and using as few usb ports on my mb as possible. Ive done a lot of research and i cant seem to find my exact situation and a lot of people are just using fans and an aio, not in addition to the led strips. So ill be running the h150i (with stock fans replaced with ql120s), 6 additional QLs, the leds, and possibly the xpd rgb extension cables (if they are supported). From the diagrams ive seen, it seems that most people link the individual rgb fan headers to the hubs, and the hubs to the commander pro, and the commander pro to the mb and sata. Would i need a usb splitter as well since my mb only has 2 usb ports? will i need a sata splitter? Am i missing something here? Or would i be on the right track? Any and all help will be truly appreciated. Thank you all!
  5. After 2 weeks of install, the pump module started to leak from the side screw. Did anyone ever experience this? Luckily the leak was small, and there was a small puddle of fluid sitting on top of RTX3090 and luckily it wasn't damaged. Needless to say, the PC has been turned off ever since. Anyone experienced this? This to me looks like a manufacturing flaw. Surprising considering this was bought from Corsair's own website.
  6. Hi everyone. Just wanted to get some recommendations on cases that can fit the h150i PRO XT (360mm AIO) as a front intake and with tubes down? Tubes down is a must as recently a lot of info going around about incorrectly front mounting AIO with the tubes up. I'm also using a 2080ti (305mm length) which the tubes will need to navigate around. I was looking at Phanteks P500A and Cooler Master H500 but hard to tell if there's enough space and tube length for the H150 to reach the bottom. Suggestions would be much appreciated! I know there is also the option for top exhaust which solves the tubes problem, but worried this will make my CPU too hot especially as I'm using the very hot i9900k and 2080ti GPU. My Specs CPU Intel i9 9900k GPU ASUS GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11 GB ROG Strix OC Edition Memory Corsair Vengeance LPX 64 GB (4x16GB) DDR4 3000 MHz C15 Storage Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB Motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero (Wi-Fi) Z390 Cooler AIO Corsair H150i Pro XT PSU 750W Corsair HX Series HX750 Many thanks in advance for any help! 7. I've read a few of the different threads about this issue and have tried a few of the different solutions and no luck. Also tried some of the solutions in the Liquid Cooler FAQ. I just got this AIO and it was working great but then the fans randomly ramped up to really high RPM after using it for a few hours despite temperatures not changing that would suggest full tilt fan speed according to the curve I set. They did not respond to changing fan curves in iCue or changing performance profiles. I tried restarting and they start at full speed. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iCue. I tried forcing a firmware update that failed. Now the cooler does not appear in iCue or device manager. The light on the heatsink isn't lighting up and I think (?) I was using the rainbow/spiral setting that seems to be causing issues. I also was using MSI Afterburner and HWinfo at the time. Tried uninstalling those and uninstall/reinstalling iCue still no luck. I've also tried the routing it to the back and windows recognizes it and says it setting it up but still does not appear. It does appear in USBDeview though which is interesting since I don't see it or anything similar to it in device manager. Attaching screenshots of both. I also get the usb disconnecting sound now periodically but that goes away if I uninstall iCue. Any other troubleshooting routes I should try? My hardware is in my profile.
  8. Hey guys can you please help me out. My current system is going over 5 years old now, and with new gpu on the horizon I want do a upgrade, and build a system myself. However there are a couple a things I not sure about, and how to do them, how they work etc. So the plan is to buy: a Corsair 500D Case AIO 150 I pro RGB 3080TI :) I want to replace all the fans with QL120 fans. (7x 120mm, 2x 140mm top exhaust) Because I will have 9 fans I be using the Commander pro. But that has only 6 pwm fan connectors. (I think I figured out how the connect 9 rgb) using two led Hubs, connect these 9 to the hub. Connect the two Hubs to a lighting node pro, and connect the L-Pro to the C-Pro I want to setup my AIO As a push pull configuration. So 6x 120mm ql120 fans on my AIO Here's my question. Because of the limited 6 pwm fan connections the CPro, I still need 3 more connection. My idea can I use my AIO Fan splinter? (that are connected to the 150i pro) And connect this fan splitter to my Mobo CPU-FAN connection. Will I then still be able to use Corsair IQEU software to set my fan speed on those particular 3 fans? Or how else can I control then? Is it smart to do so. And which 3 fan's would be best. (sinds I want a push pull configuration.) also I want to front mount my AIO. Hopefully it's al clear, and hope you can help me out here :)
