  1. Did you know Corsair has an internship program for Undergraduate and Graduate students? It’s a summer program that is a total of 12 weeks. It’s a fun and challenging experience and I encourage everyone looking into getting into the industry and wanting a hands-on experience to be on the lookout for the 2022 internship and apply next year! I made many lasting friendships and networking relationships. I hope you will consider it next year too! Corsair Angie
  2. I recently built a PC and don't have much experience with using fans as it is the first time I have ever done such a thing. For some reason my back fan is running at max speed and I am unable to change it through the icue software app. The fan is currently plugged into a controller along witht the other 5 fans i have. I have tried plugging it into the motherboard but the same issue remains but it loses its RGB. The fan having the issue was a separate fan (2 are part of the water cooler and 3 came with the case) so im unsure if the fan itself is fauly or if it is another issue. Any help would be appreciated.
  3. Heyyo, I've really wanted a new keyboard for quite some time, and having RGB is a near-to must for me when it comes to computer accessories nowadays. Seeing how within my budget the K55 was as well, it was the perfect buy! The keyboard has been working far beyond my expectations, until last night. All the LED's at the topright stopped working, though the functions themselves worked (CAPSLOCK and NUMLOCK, specifically). I tried installing CUE and clicking around on mostly everything with no progress, leading me to uninstalling it as I saw it as unneeded software (but, is there a way to fix the issue using that software, i'll be glad to install it again). On a good note, reconnecting the keyboard seems to have fixed the LED's, but on a bad note, this is not issues I want with a new product, about a day into use. I've also had to do this twice so far. Should I bite the bullet and plug in my good old Logitech G110 and take this back to the shop first thing tomorrow, or are we rather looking at a firmware/software issue? I've seen people have similar problems, but do we yet have a "waterproof" fix or are we still lost on that? For what it's worth, it seems to happen when I use fullscreen applications, or at the very least, I've seen it happen whenever I sit playing Watch Dogs. But I guess it may, or may not be a coincidence. I've very recently updated my Bios and Chipset drivers for my motherboard (ASUS Z87-K), ensured that I've got the latest windows updates, and "force reinstalled" the generic keyboard drivers via Windows own device manager (following this guide). Thanks a lot in advance! EDIT 1: I NOW HAVE THE CAUSE OF THE ISSUE! (Though not the solution). When I unplug any other USB device, then plug it back in (for example, my headset charger), the Capslock and Numlock LED's freeze. Nice having the issue pinpointed, now for a solution. Anyone?
  4. Unofficial Hydro Series Installation Guide This SGC guide will help with the proper installation of Corsair Hydro Series pumps. I noticed a number of forum members are having problems with the pump installation and higher than normal CPU temperatures, this may be related to Corsair instructions being basic and or vague when it comes to a successfully mounted Hydro Series Pump. Step 1, upon opening your new Hydro Series Pump, take a few minutes to lay out all included parts on a flat surface and verify needed Mounting components were included in the box. Simply open the Corsair quick start guide to page no. 1 (included hardware) and compare the pictures with your hardware. Step 2, this part of the guide will pertain to Intel LGA 115x and 1366 mounting when installing a H60, H80, H100 and the newly launched H110 GT Series Pumps. If you're using Intel: LGA 2011, 2011-v3 or AMD: AM2, AM3, FM1, FM2 you can skip this step since you'll be using the backplate that came with your MainBoard. Additionally those who are installing a Asetek made Hydro H50, H55, H75, H90, H105, H110 or the newly launched H80 GT and H100 GTX pumps can also skip this step since your backplate is of a different design. Intel: LGA 115x, 1366 backplate http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.1_zpsgxiwfoky.jpg A closer inspection reveals two notches made into one side of the backplate (the direction of the notches is vital when installing the backplate onto a LGA 115x or 1366 Mainboard) http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.2_zps9wn6lzjj.jpg Intel: LGA 115x, 1366 mounting hardware (notice LGA 115x standoff screws have the same amount of thread on both ends) http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.3_zpsu1skjzd6.jpg Step 3, installing the Intel backplate onto the backside of Mainboard starts with the orientation of the notches in the backplate. It’s vital for a successful mounting having these two notches facing upward towards the top of the Mainboard and going around the two screws holding the CPU socket in place (if this part is skipped or improperly installed the cooler will not make proper contact). Next, adjust the mounts at the four corners of backplate till they line up with the holes on the Mainboard for your specific CPU socket. Then install the standoff screws from front side into the backplate mounts around the CPU socket until hand tight. This will secure your backplate making it ready to install the CPU waterblock (on some Mainboards the backplate may feel loose, don't worry). Correct mounting will look like this http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.4_zpsdsndpadx.jpg Here’s a close up http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.5_zpsnq7wziuo.jpg Step 4, position the mounting bracket over the top of the pump assembly and we're ready to install. Align the bracket and pump assembly over the four standoff screws, standoffs will go through the mounting bracket making it ready to secure. The process I use when installing a CPU waterblock assembly, is once the mounting plate is lined up correctly and seated to the CPU, continue to apply lite pressure in the center of waterblock while installing all four thumb screws. Keep constant pressure holding the CPU waterblock in place, tighten the thumb screws until all four are have reached the mounting bracket but not making contact (this will ensure the mounting bracket is installed correctly and not off center). Once all four thumb screws are installed then we can start to tighten them by starting with the top left corner, moving to the bottom right corner, next moving to the bottom left corner and finally the top right corner. The thumb screws should be hand tightened first and then using a screw driver to make sure they have been secured to make proper contact, there’s no need to go overboard making them iron tight. For those who are installing an Asetek made Hydro H50, H55, H75, H90, H105 and H110 pumps, installation of waterblock will be slightly different. The pump head on these models will have ears around the diameter of pump assembly, you will need to assemble the Intel Retention ring and clip onto the pump head. Retention ring will go over the top of pump head resting on the ears and clip installed from bottom of pump head locking the two piece together. If installed incorrectly the Retention ring will fall through the pump head. Once the pump head has been fitted with the retention ring and clip, you can follow the instructions above for secure the pump assembly. Note: using the process above will ensure proper mounting of waterblock, since it is possible to tighten one side more than the other causing the pump assembly to make poor contact hence affecting the CPU temperature. Apply pressure in center of CPU waterblock assembly http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.7_zpszruegbjl.jpg When mounted correctly it will look like this http://i1375.photobucket.com/albums/ag445/BlackOpsBoxes/Corsair%20Guide/Hydro.8_zpsmqqwr8bv.jpg Finally, connecting power to the pump with the CPU FAN or CPU OPT port on the MainBoard. Newer Mainboards will only have 4-pin PWM headers that will accept the 3-pin pump connection. The 3-pin connection only reports the pump RPM or speed to BIOS since it’s not adjustable. Additionally your pump may have come with a mini USB cable for Corsair LINK (install into an open USB port on bottom of mainboard) and or SATA power cable (install the power cable to any SATA cable with an open connection). We won't be talking about the radiator or fan installation since Corsair has provide sufficient information for mounting these two items. So with that brings an end to our Hydro Series Installation Guide, fire your computer up and enjoy.

  10. Hello, I would like to share my project that I had been working on. Some of you who are interested in AI might have heard of the term "Clustering" This project is simple. All the pheperials react to screen colours using clustering. By using my PyPheperials project, it would be possible to set LED colours whether it is Corsair or Razer. Here are some demos. (Might need some time for loading...) Demo #1 : Night Vision Demo #2 : Flash Bang Demo #3 : Blood I am quite new to this forum. So, if my post violates any of forum rules, please let me know. I will modify as soon as possible. Contact me via my email : edina00@naverDOTCOM If, you are interested , please check my GitHub. https://github.com/gooday2die/pypheperial
  11. I recently bought a corsair harpoon, using the 2.4ghz dongle it worked just fine but trying to use it via bluetooth with windows and it would not appear or pair. I tried to use bluetooth with Ubuntu and it worked so I know for a fact that the mouse is not faulty. I there a driver in windows that i must install before using bluetooth? Thanks.
  12. Right now there are dual monitor and single monitor modes, and they're exclusively set to: Single Mode 4 Strips in Video Mode Only one Monitor Dual Mode 6 Strips in Video Mode Only for Two Monitors I bought an extension kit to use on my superultrawide You can't use 6 strips on a single monitor, which really kills my new 32:9 ultrawide setup... Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm also having issues with Free Sync flickering input lag and incorrect colors, they also seem really dim compared to the regular Node Pro strips

Lg.
  16. When listening to music through the headphones, the music volume goes to the microphone. I want to acoustic echo cancelletion with Realtek Audio Console but I can't see the headphone microphone in Realtek Audio Console. How can I solve this problem?
  17. I recently bought this keyboard last Saturday and this morning, the space bar started registering 3-4 key presses in only a single hit. I already tried hard-resetting the keyboard, plugging into a different port in my PC and restarting my PC as a whole with no luck. Anyone else having the same problem? What are the chances of this getting fixed without having to go through the hassle of sending it back for RMA?
  18. Hello, I bought myself a Corsair MM700 RGB Mousepad. The first time I could sync it with icue 3 but after every reboot, its always completely RED. I upgraded to Icue 4 but it didnt help. I cant even change the colormode with the button on the MM700. The Mouspad is directly connected to my pc (not with an hub). I really would like to fix it, because the price I payed for a mouspad is crazy, so I would like to get it working. Greetings
  20. From here I call all the people who do not work well the ambient lighting of the LS100, so that we protest together. Leave here your protest, your comment. Yes gentlemen, that is how sad reality is. We invested a lot of money in CORSAIR ambient lighting to have LEDs that turn on when they want and not always. It's reality. Gentlemen of CORSAIR, I know that this post will not be to your liking, but I hope you do not delete it. Let us express ourselves and update the software so that we do not have errors. It is not explained that it worked since August, and now it has not worked for a month

  22. So I bought the Corsair h115i cooler and installed iCue but it doesn't show up. I just see the profile menu and a big empty space on the right. I don't know how to fix this. (Gigabyte Z390 UD mobo)
  23. So i got my PC a few weeks ago, and i noticed that my power button is red. On every youtube video i looked up, the power button seems to be white. What is causing this and is it something to be concerned of? The power button has been red since i got it i believe, otherwise not something i noticed right away. I know my way around a PC, but this is new to me.
  24. Hello. I've seen similar posts about 3D printing here, so I think it's not restricted here... I did clips 3D model for my other case (non Corsair one) some time ago, so I have an experience, and interested in making such for the 4000D /4000X (these https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/iCUE-4000X-4000D-4000D-Airflow-Front-Bezel-Mounting-Snaps%2C-Black/p/CC-8900444) and publishing to the Thingverse. Think it will be good for the community. And these are almost permanently out of stock, so it makes sense I quess. I need small assistance of a person who has one of these cases, an ordinary 2D paper scanner and a caliper (for size measuring). What I need is scan (2D ordinary black/white scan, made by any paper scanner) of flat surface of the clip, and some measures with a caliper (in millimeters, tenths of a millimeter precision): item width (see attachment 2): and some other measures (see attachment 1): Thx
  25. Hi Corsair community Ich habe mir vor knapp 2 Wochen das Corsair virtuoso wireless rgb gekauft und war zunächst sehr zufrieden. seit gestern jedoch ist mir ein akku fehler aufgefallen...
