  1. OK Zotty, C-Attack and Dev-Biker, resident Corsair Experts!! I assume you've seen the launch of the ELITE LCD Cappellix upgrade Kit. I've already Clicked the "Notify me when available' link on the website for my Elite Cappellix H150i. One simply removes the current LED module on top of the pump unit and replaces it with the magnetically attached LCD Screen Module. What are the chances that those of us who go this upgrade path and then have a spare LED Module for our Cappellix....could turn said spare Cappellix LED Module into a Cool RGB Corsair Logo affixed on the inside or outside of our cases via a custom cable connected to an appropriate RGB port on our CoCo,s or CoPro;s or LNC etc and set up as an LL120 fan or whatever?
  2. No worries actually, I tend to jump the gun a lot on purchases and then change plans. So for example I had forgotten that I had already bought a Corsair VS650 for a build for my brother....but then changed the case I was going to build it in and needed a SF600 to fit in the new case. In other words I have a brand new VS650 I can use to power all those RGB LED strips.
  3. Will I need this for a 10 year old Corsair HX1050 PSU powering 28x RGB Pro Strips (280 LEDS) and 2x 140cm (84 LEDS each ), 2x 45cm (27 LEDs each), 2x 25cm (15 LEDs each) LS100 strips = 532 Addressable RGB LEDs ??? Serious question!
  4. I designed and purchased everything I'd need for a comprehensive Desk and PC RGB Strip setup with the help of Zotty and C-Attack and Dev-Biker a few months ago. To give you an idea of the scale of the setup, I have about 16x QL120 fans across two PC's with about 5 Lighting node cores LOL, 28 RGB Pro strips, 3 Lighting Node Pro controllers, an LS100 Starter Kit with its powered controller, Cappellix H150i and its Commander Core, a Commander Pro, all the adapters I need to integrate my O11 Dynamic case RGB and Strimmers into iCUE, Powered USB Hub, NZXT Powered USB 2.0 Header Splitter, old 1050W PSU to power the desk strips, Alexa Plug yadda yadda yadda!! ........all still in boxes because I haven't had the time because of work to get started!! LOL. At this point months after formulating the plan with the aforementioned experts, I have forgotten a lot of it. I've re-read my threads once and I couldn't understand what I was saying nevermind what the guys were saying!! LOL I'm going to have to re-read them several times to refresh my memory and help me understand my old plan from months ago. Since then however, I have amended some of my plans for the Desk and added a large section of 3D Wall Panels on the back wall of the desk behind the monitor and want to light these up with LS100 strips. I already have the Starter Kit with the Controller and 2x 450mm and 2x 250mm strips. However, I want to have two runs of LS100 strips top and bottom of the section of 3D Wall Panels both of which are 185cm Wide. I now see that Corsair make 140cm LS100 extenders with 84 LED's. I also understand that any Pro controller be it Commander, Lighting or LS100 controller has a 192 LED limit across 2 channels and a max of 130 something LED limit on any single channel. To span the 3D wall Panel width of 185cm I'd want to use 1x140cm (84 LED's) + 1x45cm (27 LEDs) LS100 strips top and the same on bottom. Can't run them all from one powered LS100 Controller because that would be 84+27+84+27=222 LEDs well over the 192 LED limit across the 2 channels of any controller. So my main question is this....To save myself having to buy another LS100 Starter Kit in order to get another powered 2 channel Controller and have even more 450+250mm strips I don't actually need, can I instead mix and match controllers such that I would use 2 of my Lighting Node Pro Controllers with a combination of LS100 strips and RGB Pro strips. ie. Lighting Node Pro #1 Channel 1 would have an LS100 140cm and 45cm strip (84+27=111 LEDs which is below the single channel 130 something limit) and Channel 2 would have 6x RGB Pro Strips (6x10=60 LEDs). 111+60=171 LEDs which is below the 192 LED limit across 2 channels of a given controller. Lighting Node Pro #2 would be the same. I would then run the remainder of the RGB Pro strips off the third Lighting Node Pro controller and the actual LS100 powered Controller that in this scenario I wouldn't actually be using for the LS100 strips. I think I have most 'Gotchas' covered especially considering the fact that I'll be swapping out the Cappelix H150i AIO with its Commander Core for one of the new 360mm Corsair AIO's with the Display screen on the pump like the NZXT Kraken Z series AIO's, that Corsair are teasing and will officially announce next week. I am assuming that these new AIO's will ship with the new Commander Core XT, Meaning I'll have an extra RGB channel to play around with, fill any RGB channel gaps in my new proposed RGB Strip setup. So I assume given I already have 2x 45cm LS100 strips from my Starter Kit and I am also pretty sure (but I need confirmation from you guys) that I already have all the Controller channels I'd need, that assuming all that, I just need to buy 2x 1.4m LS100 Extensions??
  5. Bumping this thread again for the same reason. Anyone got definitive answers and/or a How-To to get iCUE and Aida64 playing nice together? I want to put a 7" Sensor Panel in the Rear Exhaust Fan location of my O11 Dynamic XL case but also want to run an ICUE Nexus on a K100 KB I have ordered for some Touchscreen control of RGB/Fan Profiles and At a Glance Temp/Speed monitoring. I mean if I have to choose, iCUE wins because I have a Capellix H150i, Vengeance RGB Pro, LS100, ST100, Polaris Pad, MM700 Extended Pad, about 24x Corsair RGB Strips, 15x QL120 Fans across two PC's......LOL. I would like to have them both working together though.
  6. Thats good to know. That said, if the rumour/Teaser? I saw was genuine, I may leave my Elite Capellix H150i in my Ryzen build and buy the rumoured/teased? new Corsair AIO with the OLED Screen like the NZXT Kraken Z73 for a potential LGA 1700 Alderlake build rendering the replacement/after-market LGA1700 bracket question moot. I don't supposed you can confirm or deny that there will be a reveal next month about such a new AIO product by Corsair? "Absolutely no such product planned" or "I can neither confirm nor deny but stay tuned!" would answer my question without you having to answer my question.
  7. WIll Corsair sell aftermarket brackets for the likes of the H150i Elite Capellix to support LGA 1700 Alderlake?
  8. One thing I never asked months ago in this thread but is something I need to know and add to my regrowing Amazon wishlist of doodads is what gauge and core count cable to I need to buy to extend the Corsair RGB Strip cables. Remember I'll probably need to extend the cables between each strip to space 6 out across 3m runs and also extend the cable of the first Strip in each run all the way back to the PC case where the Lighting Cores will be. I assume I can just mark the cables and cut them and splice in the extension and Heatshrink wrap the joins. Also, adding a couple of metres of extension isn't going to cause a voltage drop is it?
  9. My God this was prophetic!! Its now October and I still haven't built any of this. Life got in the way. I have large piles of unopened PC Parts Boxes (Mostly black and yellow Corsair stuff!!) all over the room. Point is, only now am I getting back into this and......I've forgotten everything I learned from Zotty and C-Attack back in the Summer!! LOL. I've re-read the thread once already to refresh my memory and its still double dutch to me. How TF did I understand all this and get my head around it and how TF did the guys have patience with my wall of text questions!! I'm going to have to re-read it another 5 or 6 times before I start to comprehend it again! LOL.
  10. Open the Hard Drive Bay Doors HAL !! I can't do that Dave...iCUE crashed again... :D: :D:
  11. This is a quiet neglected part of the forum. Hardly anyone posts in here anymore and besides I think this subforum might be for finished builds not about asking questions for 'yet to be' builds. That might be why you haven't had any replies yet. If you haven't already, re-post this in the 'Cooling' subforum
  12. I was actually asking about the Lapboard. The EU store had the keyboard alright. All sorted last night anyway. Found that a German Online Retailer called Caseking.de had the Lapboard in Stock....and also had the Corsair A500 Cooler that was also out of stock everywhere else. Ordered both items from them for shipment to Ireland as well as a Harpoon RGB Mouse. Ordered the K63 Wireless Keyboard, RGB Fan Hub and another 2x Triple Packs of QL120 Fans from the Corsair EU Store last night too. Add that to the H150i Elite Cappellix, 3x Triple Packs of QL120's, 3x Lighting Node Pro Kits and 4x RGB Expansion packs and LS100 Starter Pack I bought earlier in the month and it means I must have spent about a grand on Corsair gear in May 2021. :D:
  13. JHC!!:eek: The amount of money I've spent on Corsair gear over the last week or two is insane!! :D: Ordered the RGB Fan Hub, another 2 Triple Packs of QL120's, another Lighting Node Pro RGB Strip kit and a Corsair A500 Tower Cooler for the Media Server and ordered a K63 Wireless KB, Harpoon RGB Mouse and a K63 Lapboard to go with what was my current 6700K@4.6ghz/16gb DDR4/H110iGT AIO/RTX2060 Rig that is getting transferred into a Thermaltake Core G3 Case and going on a TV unit shelf for my brother in his apartment. He's been good to me over the years and this is part of me returning the favours.
  14. Out of stock everywhere or is it not made anymore and retailers just haven’t removed it from their listings?
  15. You need to edit your post chief. ‘Can’t do all the cool effects.... About to start my build soon. I have the EZDiy adapter cable and a 24pin Strimer+ and a Triple8+ for my 3090. Is it still 3 RGB strips you set in iCUE for the relevant channel or was 3 strips when Lian Li still only had Dual 8pin Strimer+ for GPU’s but with the advent of the Triple, should we be telling it it's 4 strips?
