  1. If you are having no issues, I would just wait for the update from AMD. All I am saying is that 23.8.2 is another version that works well with the Voyager by itself. However, the lower Idle wattage fix is not in it. I have the same issues with the radeon software. I can only access it right when I boot up. So if you can handle that, I would stay where I am at.
  2. That issue with the Radeon Drivers 24.1.1 is across the board. I have it too. The prior solid choice that works very well is. 23.8.2. Try that one and see if it's better. For me though the driver itself is awesome. I would just hold out until they update that driver.
  3. I'm thinking faulty GPU. The vapor chamber is more than capable of keeping temps from going that high, even on cyberpunk. After trying fresh drivers, RMA for a new laptop. Software can't fix hardware issues.
  4. Once you put it on a text file, you have to make sure you set it to .inf instead of .txt. Also you have to go into safe mode. Follow the directions.
  5. Yeah once I got the AMD Drivers out of the way, it works pretty good.
  6. Wow they still haven't fixed most of the problems? I am so glad I returned mine wow! On a Legion now and reclaimed almost all the lost time I spent trying to fix stuff on the Voyager I had. Literally haven't had the laptop down whatsoever in months. Just getting work done and gaming without a worry. Corsair marred their reputation with me so bad, I sold all of my corsair branded items and won't ever use them again. If you can, just return the laptop. No sense in enabling bad business practices. That is the only time they listen.
  7. This is literally the most update to date software. The Bios and the GPU Drivers from the Dev's Drop Box. I have used both. Best of luck to you. IF you switch the Laptop ONLY to GPU only, you will have the full 240hz and it will work great. The problem lies in the subpar internal monitor and drivers for it for the integrated graphics. If you NEED to play the newest games, Stay on AMD's latest and just switch hybrid off in the bios. Otherwise, use these drivers to at least get back normal functionality. Good luck. I returned my laptop and got a legion 7i 2023.
  8. As of right now no. If you use ONLY the DGPU (Hybrid turned off in Bios) you can update to latest drivers without a problem, and there will be no errors. The 6800M sees the laptop display just fine. At the very least you will have full playability, as the drivers for the 6800m are great across the board, at least from my experience. I think they are having serious issues with the IGPU seeing the internal display. You might have hybrid work on the newest drivers at first, but at 60hz. I have seen multiple times though that on hybrid mode, the laptop display eventually goes black and doesn't come back until you change to DGPU mode, or you reinstall the old drivers. It's a great laptop in terms of hardware and features. I won't deny that. I loved it. For how light the laptop is, its incredible the performance you can get. And it doesn't flinch when multitasking serious work. At the very least, you won't have the issues. PUSH CORSAIR UNTIL THEY GET THE UPDATED DRIVERS. They owe that to everyone.
  9. Yeah their 2k USD monitor doesn't show up in ICUE. Software support is not finished. After the laptop incident, I am not even opening the box. Just returning it. If people going to drop serious cash, they expect serious quality on software and hardware. I pay more to have better stability as well. It's sad. If I can't rely on them for proper support on a laptop, why would I risk the 3 year warranty on the Monitor? I don't trust them now. And that is the problem. Maybe shouldn't be cutting staffing in the support department.
  10. I returned mine for a Legion 7i 8th Gen. Lets be real here. They dropped the ball. I wanted this to work so bad but.... 1. Can't unpair from slipstream. 2. AMD drivers are over 8 months outdated. Can't install new AMD drivers without messing up the Internal monitor. 3. Idle Temps (55C and 56C CPU/GPU) are hot, even in idle. 4. Many have complained about Annoying fan whine, and it was bad on mine as well. 5. 6 Bit color on the internal display with a 3k Laptop? Seriously?????? Are you kidding me? (I have 10 Bit Color at 240hz on my 7I) 7. Corsair support seems to be bluntly not ready to deal with this. I asked about driver updates and got a response in a week! And it was them giving me the 8 month old drivers. I am guessing they are understaffed and under prepared for handling a laptop as software support. Thier premade Desktops mirror the same issues. Bottom Line: It's a great concept, but without backing up the software, its dead in the water. And I love the aluminum unibody construction!
  11. I want to straight up come out and say, I love the hardware. It is an amazing laptop with top notch materials. I can even overlook the 6 bit color on the 240hz monitor. I will break things down. I have reinstalled Windows fresh THREE TIMES. Full partition wipes! I simply do not have the time to mess with this! My time is money and I need my PC for game dev work! For now, I simply turned off Hybrid mode and use the laptop as a desktop replacement. I am considering returning. I CANNOT waste anymore time on this. 1. AMD Drivers are simply out of date, and not one tech has given us a clear answer on what AMD drivers are being validated, nor when. It makes me question whether this product is already EOL. I have already downloaded and tried every single driver provided. They break, or simply won't finish install. However, the newest drivers from AMD install without a hitch. 2. Bios may be related to the fan hub issues I have been having. I cannot for the life of me get the fan hub to show up on ICUE! Everything from diagnostics to voyager hub are installed. I can FN+_F5 to get it to change. However, its a joke this stuff is not working properly. Normal people don't have the patience to fix this stuff! 3. BTW When Dolby Atmos is installed with the Virtuoso XT installed, and the Dolby software to tune the Laptop speakers, the EQ (Dolby) for the Slipstream module built in simply doesn't work. Like at all. Period. I can simply reinstall just the Realtek drivers and have the speakers and headphones work with EQ, but in ICUE it shows my headset as running off of Windows Sonic instead of Dolby. This causes serious bass distortion. So I simply leave it off and use the ICUE EQ. So please? What is Corsair doing to rectify these problems? Is the Laptop EOL and you guys are just dropping support? EOL wouldn't even matter if we were allowed to update our drivers like normal tbh.
  12. Very welcome! Best of luck and let us know how it works out. It's a bluetooth driver, so I would imagine you would have to uninstall the old driver, while ensuring the driver is deleted, and replace it with this one, by pointing Windows to that folder.
