  1. Computer issues Pc started randomly restarting on its own last nite 4/9/23. It seems to work fine while under load or in a game, but as soon as I exit a game or lower the cpu load, it crashes and restarts. (When I say restart, I mean the screen goes instantly black like power switch was flipped, then in a couple seconds, reboots like it was turned on) So far, I have done system restore to a previous date, uninstalled drivers for GPU(DDU), uninstalled windows feature updates, did a total system reset. Updated bios. Ran through testing each dimm, and also ruled out the gpu. Tried chkdsk, dism /online/ cleanup-image /restorehealth, and Sfc scannow. Since I did the system reset, non of my games are downloaded now. But I could still run a stress test. But I’m more and more convinced it’s hardware. Also I must get a UPS instead of a surge protector power strip. I lost power a couple times last week due to a storm, and I wonder if that could have caused this. Hwinfo has my temps at Tj max only during stress test. temps remain normal during use and under load of games and such. I don’t see high temps otherwise.. Stress test didn’t kick off the pc, only low load seems to. I ran prime95, and ran fine until prime ended, then it restart. (I should mention that my aio rgb would flash and reset to default rainbow often during the stress test, never did that before or since, only during prime95) Tried chkdsk, dism /online/ cleanup-image /restorehealth, and Sfc scannow. . Event viewer say’s distributed com 10001, 10005, 10006 and 10016 respectively, also WHEA logger 1 & 18. I’m also getting kernel power-41, WHEA LOG 18 tells me that a fatal hardware error has occurred reported by a component; processor core error source; machine check exemption error tape; cash hierarchy error / and I found this on the issue; ‘Machine Check Exception cache hierarchy error – The error is encountered due to overclocking or malfunctioning hardware. Check for both these aspects.’ And since I’ve never overclocked, it has to be hardware. I tried each ram stick one at a time, it’s not the memory, also disconnected the gpu and still occurred, so not the gpu either. I’m guessing it is the cpu or psu. But kind of at a loss of how to diagnose without replacement parts. Will likely reach out to IT. https://pcpartpicker.com/b/Gsmkcf This is my first build, only a few months old. No issues prior. I’m so lost. Super frustrated. Please help💜

  3. I restarted the pc and it was working fine again, I looked in icue under the capellix pump and disabled "emergency shutdown" Hopefully it continues to work fine. I'll keep posted once I try different configurations.
  4. ok, I've got the new H150i installed and everything appeared to be working perfectly. Icue recognized the new pump and i was able to customize rgb profiles. BUT as soon as I loaded a game, its back to flashing red, but this time, the pump remains in icue and I get a "Pump failure warning". Its a brand new H150i elite, what is going on here??
  5. I just ordered a new h150i capellix elite 360mm white unit from Amazon, and ships from amazon. As far as I understand it, this should qualify me for not only Amazon’s warranty period, but also direct with Corsair as well? Wish I would’ve just got with the new one from the beginning! I can’t wait until I can update back with better results! im a fan of Corsair products, and am interested in expanding and exploring what I cue can really do! Thanks again for everything, C-attack!
  6. So, I’d believe that I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting steps to correct this. So I’m going to just buck up and order a new H150i Wish me luck! Also, if I buy a new unit direct from corsair, is it guaranteed for any amount of time? Thank you so much.
  7. even with the com core pump and fans in alarm mode, my temps appear to stay under 90F and i can use the computer normally everything looks good in hw info, but no Bluetooth or icue detection for com core or aio head. So close,..
  8. Also, I think it’s a bad cable on the pump head. My tachometer is connected to cpu_fan1 and shows up in bios at like 2200 while the other two occupied fan headers (with my case-floor fans) spin at like 500something, so it looks like it’s working, just not connecting
  9. it’s just strange that on first startup, everything work fine for like 2 minutes (default rainbow) then everything on comcore goes in to alarm state and the fans and aio hear all blink red together. my cpu temps stay at 30ishC even when the comcore is in alarm state. Ugh this is so frustrating. Like I can use the computer without overheating if I don’t mind the red flash alarm state. But I do mine lol, I can’t stand it. Gotta get this worked out. Thanks so much for the help
  10. Based off what’s occurring, I believe the issue lies with the pump head, or the cables directly attached to it. Being that there’s no way to replace those cables, I will have to replace the pump, which means a new aio unit. Oh well. I’ll give it a couple days from now (Xmas morn) and will buy a new pump. Thanks so much for the help and troubleshooting tips! I’m just gonna pull that unit and start with a new one and see how it goes.
  11. the cable from the pump to comcore, if left unplugged, no led on aio, but all fans on comcore will light up default rainbow, but temps raise past 100F until shut off, instead of alarm state... if that cable is plugged in, it is immediately in alarm state, but doesnt force shutdown and temps stay around 90F I have not gotten any Boot error or cpu error messages at all. I think you're right and I'll have to send it back and get a new one. I have started the return process through ebay, and am still within my window to return. Anything else I should try? Also, waiting to hear from corsair after I put a 'ticket' in. thanks for the help! Merry Christmas
  12. I've initiated a refund on the aio unit through ebay, I've still got a month and a half before times up on that. I'll more than likely have to just get a new AIO all together. idk.. frustrated..
  13. if I leave the connection (half way) plugged into the comcore from the pump, the led lights up on the pump, but my temps rise until it shuts off.. if the same cable is plugged in all the way, it goes into 'alarm state' right away, but my temps dont rise above 90F and it DOESNT kick me off like the other configuration. something is faulty here between either the cable for the aio-comcore or the comcore itself. I'm so close to my first pc working properly that I can taste it!! Tried diff usb ports and diff sata cables, same results. just about rdy to pull my hair out
  14. I'm having similar issues, Im getting the red flashing on all components that are attached to the Commander coreand no discovery in icue. Ive tried all the fixes suggested on corsair's website. If i disconnect the cable from the pump to the ComCore, my fans will begin theyre default rainbow profile, but when I plug in the pump to the core, it begins flashing red and isnt discoverable in icue. Ive tried different headers, and different sata. If i leave the cable HALF way plugged into the comcore, everything attached to the commander core (including the pump) go into default rainbow, but My CPU temps just keep rising until it kicks off the system. If its plugged in ALL the way, then all components on the ComCore will enter alarm mode(flashing red) but my cpu temp stays right around 90F rather than raising and kicking off the system. I am at a total loss of how to proceed. Please help! Thanks!
