Is the LED mod for the capellix AIO no longer supported? ICUE sometimes detects my Asus mobo but no longer shows anything else. Do I need to buy a different AIO that is updated? This is my second LED kit and don't want to do another RMA. Or is there a different software that would work?

H150I Elite LCD flickering after firmware update
CindyH replied to HorizonLight's topic in iCUE Software Troubleshooting
It's the firmware. I already got my LCD rma'd. The replacement was refurbished but it works. I will not upgrade the firmware again until the next update in 2023. -
After the failure my icue controller smells like an electrical fire and one of the fan LEDs became fused in the box so I actually ended up pulling the entire AIO out of my PC for safety concerns and literally had to cut the wire and leave the plug in the controller. All the other plugs were unplugged normal with no resistance. I cannot buy a replacement icue controller and I need that special plug for the pump.
-
An important bit of info for you: Before the issues arose, the icue never showed commander core. It showed the Capellix control and the pump control, not Commander core. Also note you cannot plug an aio capellix into a commander core as it doesn't have the connector.

I got my replacement but somehow, the update smoked my controller box and there is no way to replace it. I guess I'll put my replacement LCD on Ebay. :P

If it is working correctly the last thing you wan t to do right now is update the firmware. I updated mine and it basically bricked the LCD.
-
If you bought the LCD upgrade kit it's bricked. Open a ticket for RMA and send the LCD in for a replacement. I just got my RMA replacement today. The LCD got stuffed from the latest firmware update hense the required RMA. Keep opening tickets until they respond then tell them to close the tickets not responded to. It took me a few support tickets to get the bell to ring. EDIT: On a side note, I don't have commander core box. Mine is the capellix that came with the AIO but the firmware sees it as Commnder core which it is not.

I did the RMA for the LCD unit that got bricked by the bad firmware. Which firmware should I use to prevent the replacement LCD from bricking again? I asked tech support as well but also wanted to post here to see what other folks have done when they receive their RMA replacement. I intend to use the 115i AIO again in my next build whenever that is so I want to make note of everything and get the firmware downloaded and saved for the future.

iCue 4.17.244 Elite Capellix LCD Screen Issue
CindyH replied to dprichard1985's topic in iCUE Software Troubleshooting
I'm not sure if it was this thread or another but one of the real mods said to RMA the faulty devices for replacements so I am in the RMA process and have received shipping label. I would like to know now if Corsair has changed it's mind and decided to fix the firmware. Last I read there weren't going to be anymore firmware updates in the immediate future. Which is it? -
I have three questions 1: Why didn't Corsair test this new firmware before releasing it? 2: Why do they try to fix things that aren't broken? 3: Why can't we revert? 4: Repeat question 1

ICUE problem with AIO H150i ELITE LCD
CindyH replied to Aragonite's topic in iCUE Software Troubleshooting
I resolved the commander core issue yesterday but it's back. I read up on unplugging the LED pump and that doesn't make any difference since the system doesn't know or care when in an off state with psu off and battery disabled. When you enable and plug back in the PC just continues where it left off and the LED pump is none the wiser. Honestly, I don't think there will be any fix for this. There isn't any Corsair reps on these forums and there seems to be resistance coming from volunteers. Maybe they are in the dark like the rest of us. Who knows. Reminds me of the domain/forest debacle and it took Microsoft 5 months to fix it haha. Under these conditions, I can no longer trust the Corsair device as my CPU depends on it. I'm going to Microcenter this afternoon and booting the corsair but I'll keep it in case they come up with a fix. I have a 5900X CPU and it is somewhat spicy. -
This can be archived.

This firmware that's installed is no good. How do I revert? I need to fix this and I don't want to wait a couple months for Corsair to notice any problems. Or do I need to buy another LCD?
-
Something to do with the latest update has cause windows firewall to block the update checker. Disable firewall, update, then turn firewall back on.

Is there any way to revert back to previous software version? This update made a mess of things. Nevermind I found it. I hope it fixes the issue.

ICUE problem with AIO H150i ELITE LCD
CindyH replied to Aragonite's topic in iCUE Software Troubleshooting
I also have this problem. It started on Wednesday. Ring setting go to fans and ring remains off. Fan lighting control does nothing. Reinstall allowed me to set led screen but everything else is hosed. I noticed a Corsair update was pushed and have no choice but to assume that is the culprit so I hope Corsair can fix it soon.
