  1. There is a possibility that the game you are playing has ambient lighting supported so I would check iCUE to see what lighting settings you have. If this issue continues please contact our CORSAIR support team.
  2. Yes this is normal. The hardware lighting will kick in after a little and when you unlock your computer iCUE is able to launch and it will switch to whatever lighting profile you have selected. To adjust your hardware lighting and lighting profiles check out the iCUE software with the latest lighting effects and cooling customization.
  3. This is an interesting idea. I'll be sure to run this by the team!
  4. I would recommend contacting our CORSAIR Support team and they will help you with this issue. CORSAIR Support Team: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us
  5. So long as each fan is connected to an RGB and PWM fan controller you should have control over the cooling and lighting. I will say that depending on your cooler you may not have a USB connection from your AIO Pump to motherboard via USB and may simply go through the commander core. This is important as most motherboards will come with only 2 USB ports for components and you would need a splitter for that (depending on your motherboard). Otherwise I would say this looks fine, just if you can have the RGB and PWM in the same slots (ie PWM and RGB for a fan go in slot 1, slot 2, etc).
  6. @Pokefyre I'm sorry you are having this issue. Please elevate this issue and contact our support and they will help you in any way possible. CORSAIR support team: https://help.corsair.com/hc/en-us

  8. Don't click the words game boost. There should be an icon near those words in both the advanced and easy modes of the BIOS. Click on that.

  10. Yes you should be able to fit a 360mm radiator in the front of the 4000x case. The SUPRIM X 3070 is the same size as the 3080 so as long as the card you saw was a SUPRIM X 3070 you should be good in terms of dimensional compatibility. I will also remind you to remove the extension to the shroud cover so that you can fit the 360mm radiator behind the fans at the front of the case.
  11. Our RM750x PSUs come with 2 PCIe plugs however it also comes with 2 2x8 (6+2) pin split cables which means that you will have 4 8 pin connectors for your GPU. This means you will have an extra 8 pin that you'd have to tie back. I will also say your post title says 650x which I would not recommend for a 3080. For a 3080 card I definitely recommend a 750x at a minimum. You can also purchase custom cables and get a non splitter cable and then use a splitter cable to have that exact 3x8 pin connectors.
  12. It seems like you should be getting excellent airflow in this configuration. The only notes I would have would be he glass right in front of the fans is most likely dampening intake so the air circulating in your pc isn't as cool. We see this temperature difference a lot when we compare cases like the 4000X and 4000D airflow where a glass panel instead of a mesh or airflow panel does not perform as well cooling wise. I would also say the fans on your psu shroud could be circulating warm air from the power supply instead of intaking cold air from outside. That would depend more on the airflow from the bottom of your case. I would see about opening up airflow at the front of your case and seeing how temperatures improve from that and also seeing whether those psu shroud fans are circulating hot or cold air up into your gpu and mobo.
  13. The connections for the fans and lighting should be plugged into the commander core and the commander core should be connected to your USB 2.0 header and sata power. Your lcd screen needs to be attached to your pump and should plug into your cpu fan header, another usb 2.0 header, and also your commander core. This should be all the connections needed for connection and update.
  14. What's up gamers and PC enthusiasts! I'm back with some more tips and tricks in order to make your PC life easier. Today, I am discussing the vast possibilities that come with keyboard assignments with our amazing iCUE software. Keyboards such as our K100, K55, K95, K57, and all their variants come with 6 designated macro keys that allow for individual binding to any task. However, this does not bar you from using our key assignment software in iCUE to assign other keys/custom macros. Here's some examples below: 1) The "Launch App" key assignment is perfectly suited for quickly launching apps like a calculator, iCUE itself, a web link, or any other program you can find on your setup. 2) The macro key assignment is definitely the most versatile of the key assignments, allowing for easy binding of a single key to a recorded action that takes place on your keyboard or even on your iCUE compatible mouse. I personally use this for screenshots, graphics driver reset (control+shift+windows+B), and any other creative binds that come to mind. 3) The text key assignment allows for quick deployment of pre-written text in iCUE... perfect for spamming the enemy team with "friendly banter" after winning or losing. 😈 4) iCUE also supports a partnership with Voicemod which allows you to turn your keyboard into a soundboard. The Voicemod key assignments allow for you to toggle changing your voice, adding background effects, censor bleeps, and even prerecorded sounds. 5) Finally, the iCUE profile switching key assignment saves you the hassle of having to open iCUE every time you want to switch your lighting and performance profile. With the press of a button, you can switch from a more FPS-focused profile with more aggressive fan curves, to a theatre-style lighting setup that reduces fan noise and dims the lighting of your system. With the key assignment option on our iCUE supported keyboards, the possibility literally ends with you. We've barely scraped the surface here. As always, these tips and tricks are supported by our latest version of iCUE which is available for download HERE. For these tips and tricks, we used iCUE v4.24.193. I hope these tips helped inspire you to make your own custom key assignments. Remember there are no limits to your creativity so just do your thing!
  15. In general fps higher than your monitor's refresh rate is unnecessary. For Warzone I definitely think around 140-170 fps is fairly good and you could even raise your graphics settings a bit. Generally I try and follow the game's recommended settings for your hardware or for Nvidia gpus I try and follow their geforce experience recommended settings. Also remember to update those graphics drivers!
  16. I am a big fan of the Glaive, due to its customization and of course the sabre is our award winning mouse. For your aim my recommendation would be Aim Lab on steam. It should help train your reaction time in game.
  17. If you like cooperative horror shooters you could try GTFO. Involves a lot of terrifying monsters and working with friends to survive
  18. Have you tried going into ICUE and increasing the polling rate of the mouse?
  19. A whole lot of PC games: War Thunder Battlefield 4 & 5 Titanfall Rainbow Six Siege CSGO Elden Ring Insurgency Sandstorm Hell Let Loose Halo Destiny 2 And when I don't hate myself, some Minecraft and Fall Guys
  20. Probably going to try and make the jump from a 3060 to a 3080 now that there are actually some 3080s at a "reasonable" price. May also see about that new H150i Elite LCD cooler
  21. For the 5000D there should be loads of room for the H115i RGB Pro XT with its 280mm radiator at both the front or the top. Deciding between the two is really up to you and the aesthetic you want. Personally, I would recommend putting the radiator at the top as I prefer that for airflow and I like the three fan intake that comes with the 5000D case. But please follow up with us on what you decide and how your build ends up looking!

  23. What's up everyone! Are you a gamer like me, and want that FPS boost from your rig's sick RGB? Well, here are some quick tips and tricks to help you customize your iCUE lighting setup. 1) LIGHTING LINK 🔗 - lighting link allows you to sync a lighting effect across all your iCUE devices so that they all follow the same lighting logic. You may choose from effects like Type Lighting, which sends out waves of light from the keys you press out to your other iCUE devices, or Temperature, which changes the lighting of your setup to the cooling status of your processor. 2) LAYERS 🌫️ - layers allow you to mix and match the various lighting effects that iCUE offers. For example, you may stack animated lighting effects (ex. type lighting, wave, etc.) on top of static lighting. This way, your device will stay illuminated in your favorite color, while lighting animations may flow throughout your device. The combinations are endless! 3) PROFILES 💾 - with iCUE's ability to toggle between different profiles, you may easily switch between your vibrant, strobing rainbow profile during the day to a stealth profile for nighttime. Profiles aren't just about lighting! You may also have a status oriented profile for monitoring system temperatures, especially during processor or GPU heavy games. You can switch between profiles with just a few mouse clicks, or by pressing the Profile Switch Key on one of our keyboards (K100 RGB, K70 PRO, etc.). 4) THIRD-PARTY DEVICE SUPPORT 🛠️- in iCUE's settings, make sure the "Plugins" setting is enabled. This will allow ICUE to connect to compatible third-party devices, allowing you to control their lighting. As always, you may download the latest version of iCUE via our Downloads page. For this tip, we used the current latest version - 4.24.193, so our lighting effect variety and animation is fully up-to-date. Hopefully with these tips and tricks I helped you all find more creative ways to customize the all essential RGB of your gaming setup. Have fun gaming!
