apparently with icue 5, they added a "enable all side buttons" toggle switch that was not there before. toggled it on. previous steps worked fine.

tried it. cant link the video of me doing those exact steps and the button still being grayed out.

false. I have been using the left and right side buttons in warcgraft for left and right strafe, respectively. But 3 days ago, I added a new ssd to my pc because the old one was having emotional problems. icue didn't want to run off my old drive so I reinstalled it but couldn't transfer the key assignment over. Before, I had use remap, keystroke and assigned back right to insert and was able to use that as a roundabout way to get WoW to recognize the right back button. I just have not been able to repeat this, But I had done it before and it worked just fine. Right up til Monday. And I dont know what you mean by "there's not much information here". I want my back right button to work. It worked until monday. now it does not. I cannot figure out what icue wants me to do to make it useable again, like it has been for the past year. I dont know what more I could put that wouldn't just be unnecessary clutter.

and the agent who has been handling that ticket just told me "to just use another button". Yeah no. I want to use the side buttons. They're there. They should work out the box and NOT make the consumer have to jump through a bunch of convoluted hoops to get them to actually function.

I had this problem a year ago and fixed it. I want my right back button to be strafe right in games. I was told I needed to make a key assignment for the computer and the game to recognize the button. I did that and it worked. I recently had to switch hard drives and have since been unable to repeat the process no matter what I do. In icue, no matter what I click, the right back button select remains grayed out, clicking on the button on the image of the mouse does nothing, and when in remap, the box that says click on the button on the mouse, it does nothing when I do. The instructions on the corsair site don't work. The instructions (for other mice. there wasn't one for the rbg 55 pro) in youtube didn't work. I am at a loss for what to do.

sigh. here I am a year later having the same problem. When I try to assign the right side buttons, they are grayed out in icue. I tried keystroke, gray. clicked mouse, gray. I click on the mouse icon and nothing happens. I hover the mouse over the gray box that tells me to click on a button, nothing happens. I try a keyboard key. nope. I click on it with a left click which is the ONLY key it recognizes, but then nothing happens if i click something else. I tried selecting the key i want the function mapped to on the keyboard first, still gray. Tried copying my profile from my old ssd, it copied the profile, but not the assignment. So once again I have no idea how to assign the right side mouse key and have long since deleted his email with the instructions.

I want my right side buttons to be active in game but so far, the game only recognizes the left side buttons unless i make a macro. but the problem with the macro is it ties the time i held the key down as the total time of action. I am looking to have the back right key be a movement key and for the life of me can't figure out how to do it. I tried to reassign the front left key to the back right key. nope.

I am trying to make it so my riight side mouse button is strafe right. the only way i h ave found to do that is to bind a macro to a key but then, it only strafes as long as the macro is for. How do I make it so when I press the button, it will stay active?

So, I bought this mouse specifically because I hate having mouse button 4 and 5 both on the left side. I went into icue and enabled all side buttons. Warcraft still doesnt detect the right side buttons being pushed when I go into key bindings.
