I had a Void Pro wired headset and had no problems until the cord became frayed. I picked up the newest offering, plugged it in, and there is a gulf of difference in the mic quality. It is extremely low and I have to shout to be heard.
I still had my old headset and tested that with Windows voice recorder and it's not close to the same.
I am on the latest iCUE 4.19.191, have tried uninstalling the drivers and app/reinstalling/rebooting with no effect. I made sure I was on dvd quality input, and took the recommendation to turn off other apps taking over this thing in advanced settings.
Is this just a bum headset, or still a legitimate problem?
