    Solved. It was a system problem.

    My new Harpoon mouse will not function when using the wired USB connection to charge. Firmware is up to date. USB port ok. Otherwise mouse functions fine. I'm letting my son use this on an old (Win 7!) system, though don't see why this would be an issue. Any ideas?
