  1. So I use my PC for driving simulators, have done for years and have had many many peripherals. This seems to me like poor firmware, the screen works, period. It's the way it talks to the usb bus that's the issue, and that will be dealt with by the firmware on the LCD. Hence why it bugs out with windows on a hardware level. Had similar with a steering wheel and beta firmware a while ago. Either that or it's a power delivery issue and that's why the screen drops. I've tried disabling power savings to no avail. I dunno.
  2. And then after 1 last ditch uninstall of the usb and a restart it comes back to life, for how long, who knows. Sort it out Corsair.
  3. So I haven't been here for a few weeks as my replacement arrived and was working fine. Until yesterday. Tried powering off completely and still nothing, it's stuck on the hardware setting I had and now shows the same issue as before in device manager. Unknown usb device, device descriptor failed. Tried uninstalling icue and all the other tricks but no joy. Pretty fed up now, not gonna bother with support as the last time took an age to get anything done. Very very unhappy Corsair customer.
  4. Just an update from my end. Support have offered a replacement cooler. The cooler, pump and fans are fine so don't know whether it will be only an LCD replacement.
  5. Update. I've now done a completely fresh install of the new version of icue, checked firmware for LCD, done this with splitter and without, proper clean of registry each time and it still comes up as unknown usb (device descriptor failed) pretty much at a loss now and been 4 days since last response from support. Ticket number 2004822095 In windows devices it says driver error, has never shown for me. Gutted tbh.
  6. Been busy for a few days and forgot to check back here, happy/not happy to see a few more replies. I have an msi Force z690, with bios updated 2 days ago. The LCD fires up with the Corsair splash screen and then shows liquid temp (working fine), only time I saw the red exclamation was when I tried updating firmware, then it went back to liquid temp. Can you all check in device manager for me and see if it's the same as I have, Unknown usb (device descriptor failed) have tried uninstall in device manager and reboot with no luck. The LCD has never shown in device manager or icue for me. Been playing email ping pong since Nov 26th with support and so far all they have told me to do is uninstall icue and disable all other RGB software, pretty disappointed so far. As said before though everything works except the LCD, but I bought it for the fancy bit and the fancy bit don't work.
  7. I have exactly the same issue as you. Over 2 weeks communicating with support and all i've been told to do is uninstall icue and reinstall. The issue is with how the driver. in device manager I get a usb issue with (device descriptor failed) I have tried win 11 and win 10, with the splitter and without, can confirm both usb headers are working fine. The screen works and shows liquid temp but has never shown in icue and i have no control of it. Fans and ring around lcd, pump and commander core all work perfectly. Using a msi z690 force with up to date bios and drivers. Was a long time happy corsair customer before the h150i elite lcd, (driver or firmware is screwed somewhere and support takes 3 days every time to answer a msg) not so happy now.
  8. Having the same issue as above here, fresh build, 12900kf, msi Force z690. Have submitted a ticket and waiting for response. Tried everything but constantly get a USB device descriptor failed. Tried both usb hubs, with and without splitter, all power options, uninstall in device manager nada. It's just stuck on the liquid cooling screen. All else is working fine though.
