Sinister-Fate

I had originally thought that these speakers just didn’t have much bass, but after reading a few threads, I’m not so sure. With my regular Volume set to maybe 1/3, I have to have the bass volume almost redline one or two notches below max to hear the bass adequately. Is there an Amp or something that’s not working? I can make due with having the volume on the bass up I suppose, but if this is fixable, that would be great.
