2022 update and still have to rename Corsair.Service.CpuIdRemote64.exe to stop this sound issue. This time it also came with lag in games. Corsair, I don't need my keyboard and mouse application to monitor my CPU, I have other programs to handle that. Please remove this feature.

I just got a new K57 Keyboard & Harpoon mouse bundle for my HP Omen laptop and started having this issue. Previously, I had iCue 3.something installed with my Dark Core mouse and didn't have this problem. Removed the 3.something verision and installed iCue 4.16.194 for the new hardware and it started. I updated firmware for both the keyboard, mouse, checked for system updates, and windows updates to no avail. Thank you so much for the fix! I renamed the .exe file to .dumb after killing the service in Task Manager and no more audio stuttering!
