  1. FYI -- Downloaded 5.6.96 and it fixed it. All is now well... except for the persistent crash upon windows startup, the software seems to be working fine for me.
  2. Did you contact Corsair support about this?
  3. I am not having many issues with my motherboard (Asus Rampage VI Extreme Encore), but I am having crashes at startup (boot) which I think is coming from the Asus plug-in since after the crash starting up iCUE no longer has control of the MB LEDs, and they seem to have disabled or gotten rid of lighting setup for the new Link hubs, I cannot for the life of me re-order the fans and the software does not enumerate the fans in the order I need to do the profile setup I want without trickery which I want to avoid. But, yeah, 5.5.134 is borked.
  4. Thanks, bought it over 10 years ago, it is a Caselabs TX10-D with Pedestal. Hands down the best case maker in the world who is no longer in business.
  5. I would add one to the request list. In addition to renaming sensors, allow the designation of units on the fan sensors (Stream Deck plugin for iCUE recently released evidently allows this for Stream Deck for example), I would even go so far as to allow a simple linear correction formula (slope and intercept) to "calibrate" the rotation number. Some external devices/sensors provide a tach output to a fan header and reports RPM proportional to their measurement, it would be nice to take that input from a commander pro or xt and convert the RPM reading into the correct value (for example, the Koolance flow meter/frequency multiplier reports RPM as mL/min, it would be nice to output that to the user as L/min or Gal/Min etc.). Also, on a hardware side, a Link device that can be connected into the Link ecosystem that can receive or control a standard 3 pin or 4 pin PWM fan would be beneficial since you could then send these sensor output to those 3 pin headers.
  6. I also see you brought this up in the release notes thread.
  7. @CORSAIR, The Link System Hub lighting configurations options have been removed? Why? Many of us need to reorder the fans as the enumeration of the fans in the automated setup routine is not in the order we have them installed in the case. Anytime I click on a Link System Hub it just prompts me to update the firmware and adjust brightness which is already up to date. Please fix ASAP.
  8. I am exactly the same boat!!! None of these are enumerated in the order I want to do sequential effects/profiles.
  9. 🙂 Indeed.... the side fans are easy to access, but the front fans are the ones that I need to reorder and the hardest to get to (and the front rad is push/pull which has 4 more inside that is not pictured) .... to get to them I would need to drain and disassemble both loops remove the top segment and fish the assembly out. Would be a full day project.
  10. Thank you, thank you THANK YOU!!!! At least I can stop speculating as to the issue. It was working and now it is "gone" in a recent update. I just installed the hardware so I am caught in between software versions. I was speculating it was because I was using an internal USB hub and the software somehow did not work all features through the hub. Have you reported this to Corsair?
  11. Can you explain why I cannot get lighting setup from the new Link System Hub even though your youtube video clearly shows clicking the system hub brings up a menu for lighting setup among other things? This is truly infuriating. The Link system has enumerated the fans out of order and I can find no way to reorder the fans.
  12. Well this is infuriating... Corsair's youtube vid shows how to do this: But when I click on the Link Hub this is what I see, there is no light setup options or anything. iCue is a truly frustring piece of software to use.
  13. So I just finished a massive build with a large contingency of corsair QX120 and 140 fans into a mega build. The new Link system is so much better to work with, cabling and management was a breeze. One feature is that the Link proprietary protocol can now detect the device a connected to the hub and auto configure it which is nice, but there are a few issues. First, the enumeration of fans and devices is perplexing, some hubs do it in order, others seem to be random (my build has 3 hubs in it). I cannot rename the fans or change the order which I would like to do to make customizing profiles easier and logistical. Does anyone know how to reorder the fans and/or rename them? I cannot seem to figure it out.
  14. I wish they would open up the Nexus module used in iCUE and make it open source and let the community take it and run.
  15. Indeed... and this is truly sad because these is such interesting potential here. I would, for example, love to create a screen to profile association so when a profile becomes active an associated screen is placed on the Nexus. I have asked for this feature many times... alas, it will never happen.
  16. FYI, I found the solution ... You can block 3rd party software in iCue, but doing so with Stream Deck software loses the ability to program keys via Stream Deck... which is OK, you can still do it via iCue. Strange feature.
  17. Ok, I just spent a huge sum 🙂 retrofitting my system with the Corsair Link system. I will never go back, too bad this was not the way to start when Corsair started making RGB materials. The cable management nightmare on the old QL series fans was just atrocious. Ok, now on to what I think needs to be done. One of the coolest effects and most jaw dropping in iCUE Link is time warp, it is spectacular. But I am running two Stream Decks along in this rig and apparently time warp is a disabled feature with a tip/note saying it is controlled by a 3rd party software or game (ok, but it doesn't tell me what that software is... by trial and error I figured out it was the Stream Deck software). How can this be? I fail to understand how programing macro buttons on a stream deck has anything to do with lighting.... the iCUE plugin for stream deck sends iCUE commands to change profiles, and basic iCUE commands but that actual work is and should be done by iCUE etc. Stream deck software should not have anything to do with controlling the actual lights themselves... what gives? Is Elgato not a subsidiary of Corsair or owned/managed by Corsair, have you guys not figured this out (LOL)? What can I not use this cool time warp feature and my stream decks at the same time? (NOTE: This is STREAM decks by Elgato, not the Steam Deck by Valve LOL)\ Does anyone know of a solution? If not then this should be a suggested fix. Regards, Jack
  18. Quite a nice list, I whole heartedly endorse most all of these... on the Default Audio Device the plugin to do this is called: Win Tools by BarRaider. You can also force an audio device on a per app basis, but I don' use that. Here is the button:
  19. So I assume 3.x is being retired/EOLed? Sucks, 4.X interface is less intuitive, harder to navigate, and generally sucks. This aside the fact I have already tripped over several bugs, and only a couple on the 3.x software. Seems like a huge step backwards to me.
  20. Just bought one myself and was exactly what I wanted. My only complaint is the seemingly redneck way of attaching it to a keyboard with “sticky tape” — they should have engineered a system which would allow one to screw accessories into that position.
  21. I accidentally deleted on of the preset screens (for a commander pro), so I went to settings in ICue and select nexus and there was a button for restoring initial screens. Not sure it that works sir the Corsair main screen though.
  22. I found one thread on this and it is old, would not bump to the top. How do we log a feature request with Corsair? The iCUE space tiles are currently glued to the right side of the primary monitor, it would be useful (make the software more useful) if we could pin it to a different monitor in a multimonitor setup. Regards, Jack
