  1. Hi. First time building since 2005 so I'm pretty sure I'm missing something obvious. The intel backplate fits the hole pattern, but the threaded sockets (backplate pins?) sit proud of the circuit board, so when I tighten the standoff screws the backplate is not firm against the board. There is about 1-2mm of play. A washer on each would fix this but there are none included. I can go and buy some but I'd like to know first if I am doing something wrong here. I don't imagine that the motherboard itself is thinner than other boards, so this should be workable without modifying anything. I've attached a picture. The mobo is MSI MAG B560 Torpedo, LGA 1200.
