    Okay I've just made an account to give my fix for this issue. Just got a new Dark Core Pro SE. Dongle worked, updated, no longer paired, and the "initiate" pairing button was grey. Simple fix - Plug in the USB C cable to your PC and mouse, the "initiate pairing" button comes on (keep the dongle plugged in), done in seconds. Fixed.
