  1. So Nov 4th bought DDR5 build from micro center. Got home Built the PC and ran into an issue with DDR5 not showing in Icue. After days of back and forth on the web (Which 24 hrs for an email reply is pretty bad and slow at resolving the issue. I made 2 phone calls. On the 2nd call on the 24th It was suggested what the issue was bios issue. Once resolved it was apparent when making the light static one of the LED's yellow color was not functioning. So a ticket was open I was told they had no replacement product. I waited over a month for replacement and 6th Jan I was informed of stock available. 40 days later. Once I set that RMA going I find that the leds are failing in my water res + pump bought April 24th 2021. Not a good taste. Lee

  3. OH You know what you need to enable XMP and set the DDR Memory voltage to 1.25v Instead of 1.1v or auto.
  4. Use the search function "DRAM SPD WRITE" It should be found disabled. For Asus this is labeled as DRM SPD WRITE Disabled True/False
  5. What motherboard Bios revision are you on? My board came with 0602 and was ok. I updated to 0702 to try and fix a issue with my 3090 not going into bios but this broke all XMP profiles from working with my memory. I later updated to 0802 - Still not addressed my video card and bios issue but has not fixed the XMP profile issues. You can find them in the ROG Asus forums under z690 sub forum.
  6. I have not had a spark from any pc build except when intentionally triggered (when I slid it from 240 to 110v) Any spark is the sign of bad switch or something is wrong internally. Warn rocker switches like house hold light switches should be replaced when you start to see current arcs. I have a 3090, and a 12900K which has a load of over 600 watts alone. Yet I do not see a spark when turned on. It is not normal or desired to have sparks from rocker switches.
  7. It’s not normal at all. It’s showing that the system is lacking any kind of ground protection. Make sure your outlet has a wired common ground. This can also be bad grounding in the PSU. Ask Evga when they first launched the P2 1000x PSU it did not have properly grounded components and had to do a recall.
  8. Do not use same cables from previous psu use new ones. Assemble the 24 pin and the 8pin cpu one into the board and power it on
  9. In the bios use the search and search for ddr write. It will be disabled. You need to enable it to allow rgb to work
  10. 0802 works for my Dominator too to run at XMPII. Before it would crash hard at 5200 running any XMP profile. I had to run it at 4800 to be stable.
  11. My CpU runs at 5.4 and GPU 2040:10000 As you can see I took the LED strip from my XG7 and fitted it to this block and works really well. I have 5 fans exhausting and on intake that is placed to pass air over the GPU back plate.
  12. yeah my CPU and GPU are as tight as they will go without rounding out the screws. I got rid of my GPU block for my 3090 from corsair. The back is poor design.
  13. Hi Junit, I have Hydro X setup in my PC, But I custom setup my Cooling profile. I set it to GPU temps and had it go up to 1000 at 20c 1200 at 30c and 5,000 at 40c Give it a go and see if your temps improve.
  14. I wanted to reply to this. I had this issue on my setup and I had to unplug the commander pro from the motherboard and re plug it back in to correct the LED
  15. The white flecks are from the rads and it is cupric chloride. And can turn green in larger deposits. Your loop will need further cleaning to get it out.
  16. Tight bends yeah but the silicone passed through it no problem so all it good. I also did not add a drain  PC will stay in my house as long as a Xbox but i`ll build a new one in 9 month
  17. By the way your picture confirms what I am saying that it is not 2 chambers that its a single chamber design :) You can't cost effectively weld the middle single piece. Have someone cut it in half and show people the actual design.
  18. Picture. The posts for the rear of the card on the water block are the same size across the block which is an error as the back plate has no pcb here so its forcing a 2mm drop at the rear.
  19. Hi All, I bought a water cooling setup from Corsair directly. XR7 Radiators Crap really is shocking this is a waste of your money. The rad has cross flow at the bulk head where the connections install. I have this installed with fittings down and its the lowest part of the loop. Any normal rad has your flow from the intake up to the opposite end of the rad and down the other side to the rad to the outlet. Not this junk. It just flows right across. XG7 3090 FE block The block is pretty good fitting, no complaints but the back plate LOL worthless and for a 3090 very disappointing. Half the ram is on the backside and so you need some cooling. The backplate has to bend to be screwed into the block. Only 6 screw holes are contact points for the back plate to the front plate to dissipate the heat. Make sure to the pump when you get it. my pump arrived DOA and on the 6th day they offered to do an advance replacement.. 6 days SMH If you buy the squeezy bottle remove the end from it before using it. It comes off. The hard line cutting kit. LMAO its made of plastic. SMH why would you have a clamp made of the same hardness of the material your cutting. Waste of money just get a block of wood drill a hole with 1/2 drill bit make it a little wider and then thread the length of tubing you want through it and bet you its easier to get a straight line. I have no complaints with the water block. works as intended. Good job.
