  1. Here's an update from my ticket with Corsair, it seems they've sort of acknowledge the issue with the new APIs and iCUE now. Still no eta on an update though. If there is a way for this to be pinned or announced can a mod please do so?
  2. It depends I 've read some brands have issues, like razer and steelseries, could have been a different issue though. However Logitech isn't one of them i bought the Pro X Wireless and the EQ and virtual surround in GHub works fine. The issue with Corsair is that they probably haven't updated their drivers and software to implement the new APIs for Audio Processing Objects, that were weren't turned on until the 22H2 update. More info on it in this post
  3. I doubt that Intel SST is the cause of the issue because it happens on both AMD and Intel systems that don't have Smart sound tech on their boards. Yes there was some major changes in 22H2, I think the way the Audio Processing Objects get loaded has changed. There's been some new APIs that been introduced with 22H2 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/audio/windows-11-apis-for-audio-processing-objects Can please you look into this, or send that link to the correct team? Corsair might want to be sure this is not the cause, and if so the drivers probably need to be updated. I recently bought a Logitech headset to test it out and their APO effects seem to work just fine with 22H2.
  4. Yeah it is very disappointing that would reply with such and not take it more serious and look into it further. I did reply back with the link about the new APIs and asked are they sure that they've been implemented into the drivers and iCUE. So I'll see what they reply back with and post an update when they do.
  5. Last reply I got from Corsair pretty much stated there's nothing wrong with the drivers and software and that it was Windows causing the issue. However it appears MS has updated the way Audio Processing Objects (APOS) work in Windows 11, there's a differently API now apparently. I'm now beginning to wonder if this new method wasn't fully implemented until 22H2 causing it to break the APO with Corsair Headsets and possibly other brands. Here's the article from MS about the new APIs https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/audio/windows-11-apis-for-audio-processing-objects Also to do further testing, I purchased a Logitech Pro X wireless and the surround sound, EQ settings, and Blue voice in GHub works just fine. So I don't get why Corsair is now blaming Windows when other brands seem to able to get it to function properly
  6. That could possibly only work for users who have a ASUS motherboard compatible with sonic studio. Is your headset wired or wireless when using that setup, cause that also sounds like it would only work in wired mode using a 3.5 adapter therefore using the motherboard soundcard and not the USB soundcard. Another member here said other brands are experiencing the same issue with the headsets that use a USB soundcard, and I've done some searching and found a posts about other brands, where some users are having the same problem as well. So it might be something that Microsoft changed or broke in 22H2.
  7. I have open ticket and shared with them it affects both intel and amd so it's not the sst solution, and they said they will look into it. After some researching and some info that another user here shared, it seems this is not just limited to Corsair either apparently other brands are having the same problem.
  8. They're not ignoring the issue, as I mentioned above I've contacted them with a ticket and they said they are looking into it.
  9. Same here I'm looking into buying another headset if this doesn't get fixed soon
  10. They are looking into the issues I have a open ticket, and I told them the issue has nothing to do with that Intel SST driver as AMD users are also having the same problem. So who knows when we'll get an update for it, but at least there's a confirmation from Corsair that they're looking into it.
  11. Unfortunately this is not just a Intel issue thanks for the article though. I have AMD Ryzen system and so do many others with this issue. I have the same issue with my Virtuoso headset. Please do some more research into this because it doesn't seem to be related to that Intel SST driver.
  12. That's odd you're only getting 1 channel audio option, could be another issue you might have going on as well. I still have all the same options after upgrading. Something could have got corrupted with your driver have you tried uninstalling iCUE and reinstalling it? Hopefully that would at lest give you all the audio quality options back
  13. There's a early update to 4.29.20 with added support for the k100 air, while does contain updated drivers for the headset. Still no fix for the EQ and virtual surround.
  14. Finally got a unhelpful reply to my ticket about the issue from Corsair, here it is and of course they marked it as "Solved".
  15. Shouldn't have anything to do with our issues, as that states it applies to 11th gen intel cpus and Intel SST. I have Ryzen 5800 and I got the issues, it has nothing to do with your cpu, as this a driver with Corsair headsets. Still though Corsair will have to look into this as it seems MS has made some slight changes the way audio effects work. If you have updated you may notice in sound settings there is a new option that shows audio enhancements, Windows does detect the Corsair effects by default and shows Corsair audio output effects but does not actually load them. Due to the changes MS whatever they may be, so it seems Window is no longer loading the effects from the driver properly. I assume Corsair needs to update the driver to the new way of loading the effects.
