H150i RGB Pro XT Temperature Sensor Issues?

iCUE is my only monitoring software for it. Other two software (unrelated but maybe it helps to know) are Ryzen Master and MSI Afterburner. -
I've had the AIO for about 5 months now. My idle temps sit at around 26-27 degrees Celsius, and my CPU sits at around 40-45. My issue is that at some points the temp reading on the pump will immediately spike to triple digits, despite the CPU temp staying at its idle reading. Not sure if the temperature sensor is malfunctioning, or if there is something else happening in the system. Help would be appreciated!
