  1. Ok I will give that a test. Would you pull the dust filters also? I tried using the stock hydro fan and pump settings and the quite settings on the intake fans while encoding a video and my cpu package shot up to 80-83c and stayed the whole time and the water temp stayed in the 27c. Is that a normal temp? To me it seemed really high. When I looked in icue the intake fans were all at 1800rpm and the exhaust fans on the hydro settings all at 560rpm. Seems incorrect to me but not sure what temp icue uses to ramp them up.
  2. Thanks helping me on this I really appreciate it. for my case I have 3 fans as intake on the front, one 360 rad pushing out the side case exhaust, 1 rad 360 pushing exhaust out the top and that one rear fan as exhaust out the back I have a sensor measuring air coming out the back of the case right in the fans flow that fan is set to balance setting. Center has a temp reading 30.40 same as the exhaust at the current timed. All the rad fans I have on the hydro x fan setting. the 3 intakes set to quite which just max's them to 1838rpm and never goes down. Using the default profiles I cant choose what temp the fans are going use and think I need to make custom profiles to maybe get a better handle on everything. I just don't know how that do that Here is a pic of my system I'm just stuck with setting fans at what rpm and what speed are the correct for the water pump if it needs it. First pic blue fans is front no rad just pulling in straight in. Second pic show the 1 on the side in exhaust and One Rad on top doing the same dumping heat out of the case. Always hate using the presets cause I cant control if its off the exhaust temp, cooling pump fluid, or CPU package which I think it does. Thanks again hopefully I made sense,
  3. Room Temp is about 19-22c constantly. At 22c right now its saying my exhaust temp is 29.10c, Water Temp 29.20c. At those temps and just idle CPU package is 38c and soon as I open a web page and click around the package jumps to 54-58c is that normal? After gaming for about 30-45mins my temps are as follows water 41.20c, exhaust 32.60c, package 71.13c, gpu 64.94c. I dont know if thats good or bad. I dont have any OC or anything running everything stock..
  4. What speeds would you ramp for the air intake and exhaust my exhaust temp is normally around 29-31c? And then for the rad what temps there? I dont thing I can drop to open Commander core xt and a lighting node as I have the rgb on pump and the cpu and then have the corsair 4 rgb light strips. Would you just use fan splitters to combine the rad fans?
  5. Wondering if someone can help me out with the best fan curves for my setup that does cause all the ramping up and down that these built-in ones do. Here is my setup 5000x Rgb X case with 10 QL fans 2 Commander Pro XT new 2021 version xd 5 water res. 2 360mm rads So on the first commander pro xt is setup with the Hydro X settings so there are 3 fans mounted to the rad on the side of the case exhausting air. One fan on the rear exhaust on that and then the pump on #6 as corsair states it should be. These are set as Hydro Fans on the rad fans the rear I have set to quite and the Pump to Hydro pump. Second Commander pro xt its set to 3 fans in the front of that case for intake. 3 fans on top of that case with the other 360mm rad on exhaust. Those are all set to quite profile. Just idle or normal web use my CPU package on a 5800x is 33c to 35c. If I watch you tube the package jumps up 50c-58c and then I start to hear the fans ramp up and down In the loop I have the 2 rads, cpu block, 3080ti block. Thanks in advance,
  6. I have thought about removing the m.2 water block as I'm not sure how much it really helps and you really don't see it back there with the video card and it makes the run a little more difficult to run those tight bends kick my but. I haven't mounted it yet as the one they sent wasn't correct so Im back to the wait game. I'll have to go and see about that video on it thanks for the info. On temps I didnt think it would help alot but with you it looks cool.
  7. Awesome thank you for the help I really appreciate it. I didnt think about the heat dump makes a lot of sense
  8. So you saying change the fans on the side rad to exhaust that is pretty easy to do. what about the rear fans should that still exhaust? I have the 3 intaking on the front right now. For the order your saying have from the pump to the m.2 first, then cpu,gpu top rad. side rad and the pump if I read that right? None if these bends are going to be fun to do but I'm learning.
  9. Hi All hope to get some recommendation on my loop. Im adding my Evga 3080 ti ftw3 with a water block finally and want to see what everyone thought in my layout for everything fans and waterblock if I should change anything. So I have the following Hardware. The fans are setup as the following 3 in front pulling air in, 3 on side with 360 rad pulling air thru, 3 Top mount pushing air thru 360 rad, 1 Exhaust. Should I keep this layout with adding the 3080 ti to the loop? Corsair 5000x RGB Corsair Hydro Kit 2 Corsair 360 Rads One Top mounted and the other Side Mounted AMD 5800x Cpu With Corsair water block 1tb Samsung 980pro with corsair ssd waterblock 10 Corsair 120mm QL Fans EVGA RTX 3080 ti FTW3 EKWB Waterblock that cooling both sides of the card. Probley didnt need to cool the backplate but go big right! 2 Commander Pro XT to control fans and rgb Right Now the loop goes like this Pump out to the rad on the side comes out goes up to the cpu, out cpu to m.2 out to the top rad and back to the pump. My thought and not sure if it makes a difference but thinking coming out of the first rad going to the 3080 ti and then to cpu then the m.2 cooler and then to the top rad and back to pump/res. Water temp 29c Exhaust temp 30.4c Center of case between the 3080 stand up and the mother board 28.9c Package temp at idel 32-40 All fans set to quite right now Pump set to Pump profile 3088 ti fan cooled at the moment is 33.72 Thoughts? Anything I should change, move ect. Hope I made sense lol Thanks,
  10. Im having the same issue some items light up but it looks like the fan profiles dont import.
  11. Thank you for the quick reply. I did check and Asus is not offering the AGESA 1.2.0.2 at the current time just 1.2.0.1A. I was able to disable selective suspend.
  12. Hi All I have a issues dont know if anyone else is experiencing it also where icue just stops working and I have to goto task manager and force close it but I see it more after waking the computer for sleep/hibernation mode the some will will freeze can open cant toggle a profile and the screen on the Corsair Nexus just has the boot up logo. Its becoming a pain to have to go in force close it to make everything work like it should. I really notice it if I start playing a game cause it wont let the fans ramp up. All my stuff is corsair except (MB,CPU,GPU) heres a list incase someone see a item and goes thats it. The motherboard ASUS b550f with a Ryzen 5800x cpu EVGA 1660 ti GPU Memory Corsair rgb case 5000x rgb corsair light node and 4 rgb strips corsair commander pro icue Nexus screen K100 RGB keyboard Dark Core Pro Se Virtuoso se Headphones Corsair Rm750 Power supply Hydro X Closed loop water system (water block rgb, Pump rgb and 3 ql120 fans) Im thinking of adding another commander pro to control the one fan I cant because the water pump took that sport on the current commander pro and to the cover the rear case fan and the 3 more ql120's I'll be adding with the 2nd 360 radatior on the side of the case. Thoughts on why its is locking up. I did try clean reinstall no luck. I have purchased and only been using this setup about 1 month or so.
  13. SDK in games that support it stopped working with the new update.
  14. Anyone else have a issue where SDK in games stopped working after the newest update? All my strips fans, water block and pump, memory are worked during gaming 2 days ago. Did the up date now the only thing that turn on is the memory. Ideas on how to get it back?
  15. You are correct on the 360 being mounted in front. I have the 4000x rgb case and was the only choice. Hind site I should have pieced this together unstead of a loop kit. But I am going to change the case out to the 5000x which will give me top, side or front for the 360 rad. The old case after adding the pump looked like there was no room to add the 3080 gpu I plan on next. Should I add an extra 360 rad run one on top and side then have fans pulling from the front then pushing out the side and top and one pushing out the back? Any recommendations? I ran far cry 5 last night and cpu got up to 72c and gpu 80c
