  1. I installed the new iCue 4: iCUESetup_4.9.338_release.msi 1. The non-standard installer interface with random colors for options "buttons" looks like Corsair gave a 2-year-old with some crayons a UI designer job. PLEEEEASE STAHP reinventing UIs just for the sake of it. 2. iCue informed me today that there is an update to 4.9.350, which it downloaded and then failed during install with the error "Service 'Corsair LLA Service' (CorsairLLAService) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system service". The installer had already requested and received user admin elevation. (see attachment screenshot) 3. During this failed install, it managed to delete a file required by Firefox (VCRUNTIME140_1.dll) so that Firefox no longer works and requires a reinstall. Edit: VCRUNTIME140_1.dll is part of the Microsoft C++ 2015/2015/2019 runtime package so it probably broke other software as well. If the same happens to you, go to this page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads-2647da03-1eea-4433-9aff-95f26a218cc0) - "The latest supported Visual C++ downloads" - and download the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 and install it. You need to pull this (edit) update immediately and rethink it before it borks other people's computers.
  2. You should update your "review" on PC Case Gear's website to reflect this as well :-)
