I unplugged my K57 Wireless Receiver, and back into a USB3.0 port on my physical motherboard. I brought up the iCUE Software and pressed Initiate, once more.
There does not seem to be any change in the behavior of the pairing process.
It still appears to be stuck, not able to connect to the receiver.
Is it possible for a Wireless USB Receiver, such as this to reach an end of life without any sort of interference? (such as an electrical short, or god forbid moisture or liquid is introduced to the system while running)
If this means my dongle is dead, can I have a new dongle made specific to my specific K57 and have it replaced? Or, perhaps the entire unit would need to be RMA'd?
