  1. I have 4x8GB 3600 Dominator Platinum Pro (CMT32GX4M4C3600C18). They run using XMP profile without any issues, but there is no way I am able to tighten timings at all. The moment I try to do so, I get system crashes and/or errors in OCCT memory test. Has anyone had luck with overclocking this memory and would be willing to share their results?
  2. I'm not disagreeing at all. You're right that this is poor software and not hardware. Hopefully, rant posts like this will make Corsair to consider investing more in software. Your point would make sense... if not couple facts: the same fans plugged into motherboard PWM fan controllers need me to only run software from Gigabyte (check it out, click one button (selecting profile I want) and... they work. Sure I can tweak them by myself, but cmon - this software support is garbage. I know Commander Pro cannot detect the type of my fans based on PWM, but ffs it could allow me to select Corsair fan type and based on that adjust speeds. temp, etc is also not valid point - ICue has access all PC diagnostic including CPU, GPU, RAM and all mobo headers. It's super to easy to code some default profiles based on that. In fact Corsair managed to do so with my AiO (H100i Platinum SE) software! Yeah - allow me to select my Corsair fan type and based on that adjust max for a graph or just allow me to change scale of the graph. What we'e seeing is just super lousy coding. Thanks for explanation and trying to help. I do appreciate it. It was listed with (1) but it's not the point. AiO is visible in iCUE but all Lightning Effect for it in all profiles are unfortunately empty :( I guess it caused by the fact that ICue treats it as different device (the infamous (1) added to the name). Looks also like super lousy coding :( Just WOW! Thank you, this is exactly what I needed. It even allows me to make some sense with folders and copy specific settings to all profiles in folders. I would never guess that there is functionality hidden in hamburger menu of each fan. Damn, someone really tried to hide it well :)
  3. Yeah, I do the same, but honestly, it just adds to the broader picture of Commander Pro software being extremely unpolished. I didn't have problem with the high price tag of other Corsair products as I really like them, but this $50 device software looks like it's some Early Access and not finished one.
  4. So, I've bought Commander Pro to centralize the management of my Corsair themed build in iCue. My setup is: H100i Plat, Dominator RGB ram, 4x QL 120 fans, Lightning Node Core. Before buying Commander Pro I simply plugged my 4xQL fans into motherboard PWM headers. After installing Commander Pro: Built-in fan speed profiles are useless, even Quiet blows fans at full speed - relevant post Scale on graphs of fan speed is not adjusted to possible speeds of my fans - link to post My AiO light settings disappeared from all iCue profiles - link to post There is no possibility to "globally" adjust fan speeds regardless of RGB profile. Imagine you have 20-30 light profiles and you want to slightly adjust your fan speeds based on recent development/layout change/whatever. No can do - you need to manually adjust all the profiles :( Based on the above, I think Commander Pro is simply not worth the asking price. Software is super unpolished and requires much more love from Corsair. With EUR/USD 50 asking price, this device is not bringing any meaningful benefit. EUR/USD 10 internal USB hub and controlling fans via mobo, would probably work better. I hope I'm wrong about at least some of those above issues and the situation is actually better. Also, feel free to add more of Commander Pro software quirks to this thread. Maybe it will convince Corsair to implement some of those correctly/fix bugs.
  5. I just wanted to piggyback on this and share my utter frustration at the fact that Commander Pro built-in fan profiles are completely useless. I have 4 QL 120 fans plugged to Commander Pro and Quiet even Quiet profile blows all the fans at max speed all the time. It is complete and utter nonsense. Especially that profiles on my H100i Platinum AiO are quite decent. Also, there is no "Zero RPM" profile built-in for Commander Pro managed fans, which again... it's super hard to understand why.
  6. I haven't seen thread like this, so starting new one. Closest is this, but I think it's not showing the whole issue. I have 4 QL 120 plugged into Commander Pro. From my understanding, those are running at 1500 rpm max. However, the displayed scale shows up to 5000 rpm. This makes this graph super hard to use. Sure I can manage to adjust fan speeds, so functionality is there, but usability is horrible. Any way to overcome it? Here's how it looks: https://imgur.com/1tuomeG
  7. I hope I'll convey it correctly, but I have bunch of profiles that used to work flawlessly. After I plugged in my H100i Platinum SE USB to Commander Pro, all already existing profiles are not detecting AiO. Basically, in AiO section there are no Lightning Effects. Two questions: 1. Is there any way to recover from this? 2. How to prevent such screw up in future? I see no point in spending time and configuring this software if it will be deleting my settings :(
  8. To piggyback on this thread: my mobo (b550 vision) already has multiple areas measuring temp. Is anyone using those sensors in such case?
  9. Was it resolved at any point? It's crazy to see scale going to 5k rpm when my fans can do only 2i.
  10. Yeah, I'm afraid so too :( Thanks for the answer and recommendation. Honestly, I don't want to buy Corsair cables. I love Corsair products, but I think that putting so ugly white cables with RMx White PSU is one step too far. This PSU wasn't cheap and should come with decently looking cables in the first place.
  11. So, I'm rocking 4000D case and I was thinking of getting Lian-Li Strimer Plus 24PIN cable (about time Corsair has competitive product). My only hesitation is the fact 4000D with its cable shroud leaves a quite narrow gap for 24PIN cable to be visible. Here's how it looks with ugly cables that came with Corsair PSU. https://imgur.com/a/Goegux4 Anyone here with 4000D case and Strimer plus who could share their experience?
  12. Hello! If I would want to swap LL120 fans that came with H100i Platinum AiO to QL120, would they be compatible? My plan would be to plug fan control cables to AiO and RGB cables to my Lightning Node Pro (I already have 4 QL fans). EDIT: Just realized I can test if myself as I have those 4 QL fans already. Still... if someone knows it would save me work and leave this information for others for future use.
  13. There are at least a couple of topics about it. Not later than yesterday, I was answering a similar question in this subforum. 280mm most likely won't fit at the top.
  14. Go to this thread.... it was asked there and I tried to answer. Most probably it won't fit on top. https://forum.corsair.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1076471&postcount=17
  15. Bumping - anyone successfully upgraded from 1.01.15?
  16. You will be perfectly fine. Longer is not an issue at all. They would have to be taller to not fit. There is like 5 cm of space there for longer ram. Not that I can imagine something that long as it would block PCIex slot at the bottom.
  17. Just got the notification in iCUE on new firmware for my H100i Platinum SE. I'm running H100i firmware 1.01.15 and iCUE 3.36.125. Anyone has seen changelog and/or updated from this one to newer firmware?
  18. One more thing to consider... this case vertical mounting slots are almost touching the tempered glass. GPU will be hot as hell.
  19. I have pictures of my build with detailed spacing from Dominator RAM over at pcpartpicker: https://pcpartpicker.com/b/6XNqqs This seems that if Vengeance is not completely rectangular and higher than Dominator, you should be fine. You can ask for dimensions for comparison in reddit support thread at r/corsair
  20. Thanks a lot! Got a response on r/corsair from u/traviscorsair on dimensions: "The strip is 17mm tall, the Black portion is 8mm wide, but the diffusion part is a little wider at 9mm." I'll go with strip you recommended. I assume this converter from PirateTechDog: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Corsair-RGB-to-Aura-Mystic-Light-A-RGB-Adapter/372521827376 Pitty, shipping to EU is more expensive than the actual converter.
  21. Because radiator is wider you wouldn't be able to fit RAM. In the picture you quoted 240mm radiator is almost touching RAM sticks. Having same size AiO, same RAM and same cause I can assure you: bigger radiator won't fit in the top with ATX motherboard.
  22. This is what people generally recommend here and what Corsair employees here recommend. From what I've seen here and at r/corsair they're pretty consumer-friendly. If you are in Europe, you have quite powerful consumer rights. You don't have to reach out to Corsair - you just contact the seller and request refund/new non-defective unit. Moreover, you can return any item bought online in 14 days. I did the latter with my defective H100i - used 14 days return and got a new one.
  23. This is not even remotely close to the white you should see. There are plenty of pictures/videos of this AiO online and white is well WHITE. I've personally seen two units and both of them are showing true bright cold white color.
